Pet Sitting & Drop Ins in New Haven

I had to go out of town for a funeral on very short notice in December, and while I had some work friends who could check on my cats once a day, I went to Rover to look for someone to cover their second meal. It was important to me that if they were going to be alone most of the day for a week, at least their mealtimes were consistent. Edmy & her husband Craig not only changed their usual schedule to accommodate my request, they took great care of my cats, respecting their personalities and gaining their trust while I was away. I was so nervous that they were home alone, but having Edmy & Craig checking on them daily gave me so much comfort. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these guys to anyone who needs a petsitter, and I'll definitely be relying on them for future travel (hopefully with more advance notice next time). Above and beyond! We just moved here and our closest friends and family are about 2hrs each way at the moment, so I found myself faced with the decision to cancel on a friend's important event planned months in advance or meet someone who I could trust enough to let into my home without me there to take care of my baby... After reading all his great reviews it seemed like a no brainer, and indeed it was. Tracy was incredibly patient and made sure my dog was taken care of so I didn't have to miss a big day, nothing in my home was touched besides Simba's things and I got to come home and cuddle right up to my best friend and not have to worry about getting him the next day. For anyone who is the least bit skeptical, I promise you will not be disappointed!

Wes is a complete professional. Consistently on time. Consistently leaves good notes. I know my golden doodle was well looked after every day with him. Can’t recommend him enough!

I felt like Brittany was very through and helped navigate a special situation with a new cat in the house. Very communicative and made sure I felt comfortable in leaving on my trip.

Bree was AMAZING with our three cats! This was our first vacation since getting our newest kitty, who is a little shy and apprehensive of people, but he warmed up to her very quickly! She took amazing photos every day and left us great details on each visit. I'm so happy she watched our kitties, I never felt anxious about leaving them!

Tonie was really responsive and sent a lot of photos of my cat while I was on vacation. I had peace of mind knowing she was in good hands. Will rebook in the future!

Carissa provided exceptional care yet again for our 2 dogs! We are so grateful to have found her on Rover!

Charity was awesome visiting with our two cats. She made sure that our cat that loves people had plenty of attention. And went in search for our more reclusive one to put eyes on her. Very appreciated!
