Dog Boarding in Shelbyville

Rachel is without a doubt our go-to when it comes to finding a place for our Riley to stay for a day of play or a longer stay while we are out of town. We have never felt so confident about the love, care, and attention our girl was getting! It truly feels like Riley has a “vacation family” at Rachel’s home! We would give her 1,000 stars if we could!!

Destinee was fantastic with our dog, Dougal. She frequently went above and beyond to make sure that he was comfortable, well-cared for, and had an awesome time. I sincerely hope to be able to have Destinee care for Dougal again in the future?

Nicole was amazing and took such great care of Maya! I was nervous to take her to a new house, but Nicole was really good with taking things slow with Maya. She was very understanding and integrated Maya into her family, which was wonderful to see. I would definitely recommend Nicole and love to leave Maya with her again in the future!

Lauren was great with Koda! This is the second time we had Lauren watch Koda and he’s a large German Shepherd. I typically find people have trouble dealing with the size and energy of his bred but, Lauren took care of him with such ease and she did an amazing job! Koda has been absolutely pooped since we picked him up and just wants you to cuddle and sleep! He definitely had a blast being care for by Lauren and playing all day with her own pups! I also love that Lauren sent me a picture update! I really recommend using Lauren as your pet setter because she’s kind, reliable and knowledgeable about dogs.

Sheila just LOVES dogs and my pups had a great weekend with her. The yard is very well kept and the dogs have easy access to go outside, as she has both a doggy door and will often leave the sliding door open to the fenced back yard. I like that the home felt like a place where canines were an important part of the family - my doodles love to lay on the couch and on the bed at night. Her husband is also very affectionate and welcoming to the dogs, and it seems someone is home most of the time. I would highly recommend Sheila if you want to be sure your dogs will get lots of attention and interaction while you're away!

We have no worries when Smowball and Moose stay with Brooke. She sends photos and updates to let us know how they’re doing. Highly recommend them for pet sitters😊

Brook was amazing with Oliver even through his temper tantrum of separation. I have come to realize that you don’t know what your pet will do in your absence and I live the fact that Brook shared with me that Oliver did show his butt a little bit when he was separated. Dachshund love being around people but I guess at home I put him away behind the gate and he is fine. I am thankful for her honesty and for not giving in to his behavior but at the same time showing him so much love and allowing him to be a part of their family 98% of the time. Thank you for the pictures which always added a smile to my heart knowing that he lived playing with her adorable children that he just slept all day yesterday because of the constant fun he had with everyone! She definitely is good at what she does and I truly appreciated her.

Tosha was the most amazing sitter I’ve had for my 2 dogs! She was understanding and attentive to their needs. She sent the cutest updates and photos each day! I can tell my dogs had a great time with her♥️

Christopher was great. He has a wonderful large backyard so the dogs can burn off some energy and sent lots of photo/video updates. I know my dog had a great time while staying with him.

Chelsea and Christopher were amazing! They responding quickly to the booking request to approve it and Chelsea gave me a call within minutes when I asked to chat with them. They were very welcoming and friendly to us when we came to drop Rizzo off and let him explore the house off leash to get comfortable. Chelsea had Rizzo and Loki greet each other outside on opposite sides of the fence before having them play together inside the fence. That was a great way to introduce them and it worked well! They posted pictures and videos for us during the stay and were great at communicating during his stay as well. I would highly recommend them to anyone. I needed a sitter for my two dogs (3 1/2 lbs). They are used to being with us and I was nervous leaving them because they are small and are used to a lot of attention. From the moment we met, I knew my fur babies were in great hands with Deborah & Jeff. They are wonderful people and have a genuinely love for animals. They were very hands on with my two girls. I’m so glad my first dogsitter was Mary! She kept me updated with Filo when we went on our vacation and made me feel comfortable about his stay. My GSD made friends and came home tired. Very friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. 100% recommend!!

This was Rosie’s second weeklong stay with Samantha and she always comes home a happy girl. She gets lots of playtime and snuggles 🥰 Samantha sent us daily photos and videos which is so nice!

Sharon is absolutely amazing and we feel so lucky to have her to for our pup. She is always so sweet and truly loves our dog just as if it were her own. You can immediately tell that she takes her time, has incredible patience, and gives every animal genuine love and attention. We’ve seen her with other dogs as well as with our dog many times, and every single time she goes above and beyond. We trust her completely and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone who truly cares!

Our experience with Shelby was amazing! She communicated daily and sent pictures of Maverick. Maverick came home exhausted after days of play with Shelby/her family and the other dogs that were there. We will be booking with Shelby again in the future.

Monika A. was absolutely wonderful! We enjoyed the photo of our Winston and the twice daily updates on him. There was a horrible rain and thunderstorm while he was there. Winston literally convulses during them & fireworks and he's a nervous wreck so it's difficult to comfort him. She did the best she could which is what he needed as he was a happy camper when we picked him up this morning. We highly recommend Monika and we will definitely hire her again!

I was looking for a sitter 9 hours before my trip, & Patricia was the only person to accept or answer out of 5 people at 12 am, which I really appreciate. Patricia updated me my whole trip about my puppy, she has a big yard which I know my dog loves! I know she was well taken care of & will have Patricia watch my dog again!

My two dogs are new to my family and completely not trained. I am so glad that Kamela was able to dog sit them. Thanks to her patience my dogs had an amazing time. The whole experience was so much easier than I was expecting. And the cute dog update videos were an added bonus!

Guinness had a great time with all his furry friends. Nichole & her family went above & beyond. Looking forward to our next vacation or soccer tournament so we can book again

Kari and Clint were absolutely amazing and made our pup feel right at home. They kept us updated everyday and sent pictures to show us how he was doing. Highly recommend them!
