Dog Boarding in Basehor

Rachel and her family were so patient and caring with our pups. One of ours is a little diva, but she figured him out right away. She sent videos and pictures regularly and kept us posted on how they were doing. There are more animals and pets at their home so other animals make themselves comfortable pretty quickly. I could tell our pups had a good time by how relaxed they were when I picked them up. Couldn't have asked for a better home to care for them! Thank you!

Josh was great from the beginning. He called immediately after sending the request to several other sitters. He put any of my worries aside by making me familiar of his setup and success with other pets. I have 2 Huskies and one is very active and can leap fences, Josh has both the patience and the setup to accommodate them. When I met him in person, he walked me around and showed me some of the areas the dogs gather around. He has pets himself, which makes me feel even more comfortable (knowing how much they mean to me). My dogs took a liking to him, he was familiar with giving them time to sniff around and wonder, he continued to update me with messages and pics (great photos by the way). Over all, Josh was a great Host to my pets and I’ll definitely continue to use his services in the future.

Carolyn & Daniel were amazing! We needed to make a change to our itinerary and she graciously helped make that happen. Our 9 yo maltipoo was well-loved and cared for and we are so grateful. These Rovers have three dogs of their own, and knowing that our little guy gets a little anxious around new dogs, she had all three out of the room when I brought in my little guy. Then, she introduced them one at a time. It made for a smoother transition that many will not take the time and care to do. I hope they are still in the Rover business next time we need to go out of town... I would book them again for everytime we need a sitter!

Doug had a great visit with Nicole and her crew. She sent lots of pictures and updates each day so we knew he was having fun. Doug was walked a bunch and made great progress on his training! We had to adjust our dates a bit which was no problem. Drop off and pick up was a breeze. We will book again with Nicole.

Lindsay did so great with our dog! Our dog came home so happy and loved. We will definitely be booking Lindsay again anytime we need to leave our first baby.

Toby and Chloe were absolutely spoiled!! Would recommend Xue if you love a happy home! Xue also did a great job with communication and making sure my dogs were comfortable the entire time.

Magen and greet family have Ralphie the very best care! She sent daily updates and pictures, took time to read details I'd written down, and felt comfortable asking questions about behaviors she was observing. She very knowledgeable and comfortable working with dogs and her family is super kind. They even made him some special homemade dog treats to take home. We will absolutely choose Magen anytime we need care for Ralphie on the future!

Our dogs were happy to stay at Sydnie’s place. She sent regular photos during our trip, and was quick to communicate. The dogs were looking great on pickup. We’ll be happy to book it her again!

Angie and her family were great! Very warm and inviting and took such good care of my dog, Gracie. I loved the updates, and Gracie enjoyed her stay! Definitely would use Angie again:

Sarah was very great with Gus! She sent plenty of updates and pictures to make us know he was being well taken care of! Our dog has some separation anxiety and not only did she accommodate this, she was creative in making sure when she had to step out there was a good plan for him. Highly recommend!

Griffin and Gloria are THE family to leave your dogs with. We could not have wanted a more safe, loving environment for our puppy Mushu who stayed with them for 8 days. Griffin was our point person and this was our first time leaving our pup (for an international trip my husband and I took). Since the meet & greet, Mushu liked both them and their pup Evie. We got several daily updates, including notes on her well-being, pictures, and videos. We could tell she was getting all her needs met and so much more. Griffin was accommodating because Mushu's potty training included a pad. They even took her on a field trip to the dog park (where he asked for our permission beforehand, this meant so much to us). When we picked her up, he showed us which toys she had gravitated towards and suggested we could find some similar ones for her! We are more than thankful for their love and dedication to Mushu. She will be staying with them whenever my husband and I go out of town. Thank you, Griffin, Gloria, and Evie. Mushu loves you guys!!

Chris welcomed Lulu into her home and treated her as part of the family. Excellent care and communication!

Gail was amazing with our dog. She watched her for a week while we were on vacation and it was such a peace of mind knowing our senior dog was in a loving home getting all the cuddles in a comfortable place rather than in a boarding facility. Gail sent us pictures of our dog and worked with us when we were running behind on pick up time. 100% will be using Gail again for our future vacations!

Samantha is fantastic! She really put our minds at ease after having a terrible experience with a local boarder. She sent us updates and photos the whole time. You can tell she genuinely loves animals and they love her too! We will absolutely use Samantha again.

I was confident the entire week that my pup was on good hands!

Allie and her family were amazing with our Papillon (who we have spoiled so it probably wasn’t easy ) It was so comforting to know our pup enjoyed her time and was in a good, safe environment while we were out of town. Will definitely use Allie again and Thank her!!

Bear seemed really relaxed in the pictures she sent me. Lots of pictures and updates. Wasn’t afraid to reach out with problems etc. loved that she was there a huge portion of the day and that when I picked up bear she came and we chatted about the visit which was really nice. Will definitely be booking again thanks again Brittney!

Daina and their family took good care of my cat. We did a meet & greet beforehand and I got a chance to see the space, which includes at least one small room a pet could more or less have to themself if they need a quite place to adjust to their new environment. There is a backyard, but there were some gaps in the lattice structure under the deck, meaning it is possible for a pet to roam down there and it would be tough to get them out. The only area in which I would dock a point is that Daina never sent me any photo updates of my cat during her stay, even though I checked the box requesting such updates when filling out the initial booking request, and I also didn't receive much in text updates. Just for comparison's sake, the other two sitters I have used on this platform have both sent a few photos during my cat's stay. It's not a big deal for me; I tend to be more in the camp of "no news is good news" for pet sitting. It's just something to consider if you prefer frequent updates with photographs of your pets. The more important thing for me is that Daina was quick to contact me when my cat was not adjusting well to the new environment, so that I was able to quickly help resolve the issue. Overall, I would say that Daina did a good job taking care of my cat. They sent fewer updates compared with other sitters, but they were quick to communicate when it was most important. They also quickly and thoroughly answered all of my questions and concerns. I was on a tight schedule for drop off and pick up, and they were ready on time in both instances. I would definitely consider asking them to watch my cat the next time I need a sitter.
