Dog Boarding in Lecompton

Daina and their family took good care of my cat. We did a meet & greet beforehand and I got a chance to see the space, which includes at least one small room a pet could more or less have to themself if they need a quite place to adjust to their new environment. There is a backyard, but there were some gaps in the lattice structure under the deck, meaning it is possible for a pet to roam down there and it would be tough to get them out. The only area in which I would dock a point is that Daina never sent me any photo updates of my cat during her stay, even though I checked the box requesting such updates when filling out the initial booking request, and I also didn't receive much in text updates. Just for comparison's sake, the other two sitters I have used on this platform have both sent a few photos during my cat's stay. It's not a big deal for me; I tend to be more in the camp of "no news is good news" for pet sitting. It's just something to consider if you prefer frequent updates with photographs of your pets. The more important thing for me is that Daina was quick to contact me when my cat was not adjusting well to the new environment, so that I was able to quickly help resolve the issue. Overall, I would say that Daina did a good job taking care of my cat. They sent fewer updates compared with other sitters, but they were quick to communicate when it was most important. They also quickly and thoroughly answered all of my questions and concerns. I was on a tight schedule for drop off and pick up, and they were ready on time in both instances. I would definitely consider asking them to watch my cat the next time I need a sitter.

After having bad luck with boarding in the past, Lauren took great care of our guys and helped put our minds at ease. She accommodated a meet and greet before their stay even though we booked last minute, and kept us updated every day we were gone. We’re thankful to have found her and her fur babies!

Steve is an excellent dog caretaker, very responsive and sent many photo updates of our min pin Rosie. I was worried that his cat and her wouldn’t get along but it appears all of his pets are very laid back and used to new friends! Have already booked him again for an upcoming holiday! Highly recommend.

We're so pleased with the care Colter showed our dog while pet sitting. He sent us photos to check-in, and he took her on lots of walks. We like that Colter has a dog of his own so our dog can get some playtime in too. Will definitely book with Colter again.

Petra was amazing. We walked away from the experience feeling like our dogs truly had a vacation while we were away! Her property provided unique, amazing opportunities for our dogs to explore and enjoy themselves. This was much more than just a house for them to stay, it was an experience that we were happy to have given our dogs. They were so comfortable with Petra and we were excited about every picture we saw of them enjoying their time and all the adventures they were up to on Petra's property.

Brandin was wonderful with Harley. Was great about letting us bring her a couple times before we left so that she was familiar with him and their home. He and his wife even brought her to our home after a long day of us traveling so we didn’t have to get out and could unload everything before they brought her home. We will definitely be using Brandin again for upcoming trips to Mayo Clinic I have scheduled.

Daniel and Carolyn were outstanding with my pups. I got updates with pictures and I could tell Henry and Ruby were living their best doggy life. Would absolutely recommend them!

Emily was great! She took time to meet with me, and my doodle, before setting an official date for boarding. She also brought her sweet cat to the meeting, so my doodle could get to know her too. Emily is friendly, out going, and loving to animals.

I cannot say enough about how great this family is. Thank you for treating my dogs as if they were your own. I don’t worry one bit when I’m out of town.

Kathi did great with my baby! You could tell she really cares about caring for pups and I greatly appreciated the pics and updates throughout the stay! Would definitely recommend her to a friend.

This was the second time we used Cheryl's services for our dog, Maxine, and it was another fantastic experience. Cheryl clearly loves animals and was diligent in sending sweet pictures of Maxine every day. Since it was a relatively long stay, I was so glad that Maxine was in a loving and comfortable home instead of a kennel.

Olive absolutely loved staying with Calissa!! My husband and I loved all the photos and updates, made us feel even more comfortable leaving Olive there. Highly recommended Calissa, we will for sure be booking with her again!

Amelia and Matt were the best Rover sitters we've ever had! Our Mickey boy definitely had so much fun during his stay! They sent us daily updates of all the fun adventures they took him on! Daily walks, trips to the dog park, and walking trails. They treated him like one of their own and I am very grateful for their care of Mickey. We will definitely be repeat customers. ❤️

This is the dogs 2nd time staying with Jordyn. I never have to stress while they are away because I know they are in good hands so I can just enjoy my vacation. She always sends photos and updates. You can trust her with your babies! Mine are very anxious without Moms, but they always do so well in her care!

Our dogs were treated very well. They came home tired and happy. I believe they were glad to see us and happy to be home. Although, it wasn’t obvious which lets me know they did just fine. Marilyn is very kind and genuinely loves dogs of all breeds. Ridge Pet Resort is a lovely place.

Great communication and pictures. Libby seemed to have a good time and was exhausted when she got home. Cal's place looked very comfortable, clean and pet-friendly. Gotta have a doggy door!

I cannot recommend Tamber enough! She took care of my dog and cat for six days, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. She sent me daily updates, letting me know they were fed, how they were doing, and if there were any issues, which gave me such peace of mind. She was also excellent at administering my dog’s medication and made sure both pets felt loved and cared for. Tamber is incredibly accommodating and flexible. She went out of her way to meet my last minute needs and was always respectful and professional. Her home is fantastic for pets, with plenty of space and a beautiful fenced yard. Overall, Tamber treated my animals like her own, and I felt completely confident leaving them in her care. If you’re looking for a reliable, responsible, and compassionate individual, Tamber is the one to choose!

Regan was fabulous. I would give her 10 Stars if could. This was the first time boarding Daisy and I was very apprehensive about being away from her. Regan went above and beyond to calm this overprotective dog-mom. I got photos and updates every day I was away and I could see Daisy was very well taken care of. I will definitely rebook with Regan and have no hesitation recommending her.
