Dog Boarding in Defoe

Nancy kept my puppy for 4 days and three nights. She sent me pictures of him and answered any questions I had about how he was doing. There is plenty of space for the animals to move around at her home and when I picked my puppy up on the final day, he was on the porch wagging his tail with Nancy, very comfortable with her. He at times has been scared of other dogs but was so comfortable around Nancy and her pets! I will be sending him back to her in the future, thank you for taking great care of my pup!

Heather has a beautiful, clean home and took great care of our 4 year old lab. She sent photos and kept us updated throughout her stay. She had a quick response time, helping us in a last minute situation. Will definitely use her again.

McKenzie was responsive and sent us some pictures of our pup which we really appreciated so that we knew she was safe while we went on our last minute trip.

Amber immediately made my two wild dogs feel welcome and at home and sent me several photos that perfectly captured their personalities. She even comforted them through a night of severe thunderstorms and blaring tornado sirens and calmed them as they continued to experience some anxiety the next day.

I'm so glad I brought my dog, Sarge, to Gabrielle for boarding. This is his first experience being boarded anywhere and he did SO well. I was worried because he has some anxiety, but he had no issues here! Gabrielle is extremely friendly, knowledgeable,and experienced. Communication was super easy and I received many photos while we were away :)

Had a great experience! They have an awesome family. I was rushing to get ready for my vacation and forgot to bring them my dog's kennel. They were able to use a kennel they had for her. I recommend them for sure!

Christina was amazing with my dog Lucy and sent me pictures every day of her having a blast with her other dogs. It definitely put my mind to ease to know that Lucy was being so well taken care of back at home while I was away and I will definitely use Christina again!

Oreo can't wait to go to Kristin's. She has so much fun playing with their dog Tucker and the other visiting dogs. Kristin and her family take such good care of all the animals. Oreo is always so happy there!!

Lauren & Joseph are our preferred dog sitters because they take such great care of our fur babies. Our black lab, Zeke, loves to swim in the pool!

Angela was the perfect sitter for our dog Charlie! She provided tons of photos and updates, gave him a ton of exercise and outdoor time, and has dogs that got along great with Charlie. She has a home with plenty of space for outdoor time and for him to relax indoors. We definitely plan to check with Angela anytime we are needing a sitter for him.

Tracie and her family were wonderful with Maggie! They even took her trick or treating! Maggie enjoyed the freedom to run around their property and was definitely worn out when she got home. We will use them again for future travel. ❤️

This is the first time I picked my dog up from boarding where she wasn’t jumping all over me, filled with anxiety. I could tell she wasn’t pinned up the whole time. Jim and his wife are wonderful. They let her sleep in the bed and she had other dogs to play with. Thank you so much!

Rebekah was awesome. We had to cut our visit short and she made arrangements for us get our dog early. He had a great time playing with her two dogs. If we are in the area again, we will definitely leave our dog with her! Thanks, Rebekah!&

Loni was so easy to work with and sent me updates and pictures of my dog during her stay. Remi was well taken care of and happy when we picked her up. I will definitely be using again! :)

Jordan and Adam seem like very nice people. I felt very comfortable leaving Lacey with them and Lacey got along well with them and their dog. I will definitely use them again.

Suzanne was a fantastic host to our pooch. She gave regular updates and was easy to communicate with for pickup/drop off. Also, our dog is generally pretty anxious and Suzanne made her feel right at home.

Stefan was amazing! He took care of Mazie as if she were his own! We are so thankful to have found d him! We will definitely be leaving Mazie with him when we go out of town! He took her to the park regularly and sent us pictures and videos!

Jared and Waverly were so accommodating with the numerous schedule changes we had to make with the Southwest cancellations. They answered all messages quickly and sent cute pics daily. They even gave our shy girl some individual attention! Thanks for taking care of our babies!

I cannot put into words how amazing our experience was with Stephanie and her family! They took care of our two pups as if they were their own. This was our first experience with Rover and we are so thankful we found the best of the best! Stephanie and her family went above and beyond with pictures and updates which left us feeling so at peace about how our dogs were doing and we knew they were in the best of care. We have already booked Stephanie for another upcoming trip and cannot recommend her enough. We know our dogs will be cuddled, loved, and have the very best ‘vacation’ at their home away from home.
