Dog Boarding in Elkin

Ms Sarah is awesome! This is the 2nd time we’ve used her and our Blue loves going there! This time was an emergency situation and she stepped up and was able to take him on a days notice. We love her! Thanks for helping us out.

My pup seemed to be very well adjusted when I picked her up! Andrew was very understanding and helpful when my trip had to be cut short for a family emergency.

Erin and her family did an excellent job taking care of Winter, our goldendoodle. We were nervous to leave her as she’s never had a dog sitter before, but we felt totally comfortable with Erin and her family. She even sent me pictures and texts throughout the week, which was very comforting. We will take her back for our next vacation! Love that our dog is in great hands-not to mention has a playmate (their black lab) who is super sweet! ❤️

Lauren was very communicative, professional and caring. Lauren met my pup for a meet and greet near the University of Kentucky. She provided updates throughout the day, including photos, which I really appreciated. I would highly recommend her to watch your pet.

This was our 1st time using Rover. I was super nervous about letting a stranger take care of our baby. However, we hate kennels. They are just jail cells for animals and impersonal. I did a lot of research and review readings before I committed to Rover. We found Shelby. She had many reviews and several repeat customers, which made me feel a little more comfortable. I am a non-believer until I see something & experience it for myself. We had our meet & great at her home. Bear immediately took to her & loved her attention. We decided a few hours later that we were going to try this out. We were going to be gone for 3 nights. We dropped him off (super nervous)! He went with Shelby’s husband with no problem. His tail wasn’t tucked & seemed happy. I guiltily drove off :( Within hours, Shelby was sending me pictures & videos of Bear playing with the other dog & her children. Instantly made me feel more at ease. She continued this throughout our vacation and kept me updated on his eating habits. The more pictures & videos we saw the better we felt about leaving him. It was like he was having his own vacation :) Shelby and her family were awesome. Very attentive & adaptive to our needs. Bear is a part of our family, like our other child. We just want whomever his caregiver is, to treat him the same. Not just as a “dog”. He means the world to us and his happiness is a top priority to us. Thank you for taking care of Bear like he was your own! He was worn out when we got home and we know he had a great time. We would definitely recommend Shelby, and will hopefully use her next time we need a sitter for our Bear <3

Jennifer took such good care of our Sophie! Jennifer has a very nice personality and we like that she provides services for only one dog at a time. We really appreciated her lovely fenced in back yard! We will definitely board Sophie with Jennifer again.

Elena's the best. She's always keeping us up-to-date on what our pupper is doing. There's never a worry when she's in Elena's care. The best!

Sarah has been one of the best dog sitters that I’ve had. She would send me updates and pictures of mafin. In her updates she would include when mafin ate, drank water, slept and even when she did potty. I trust that my fur baby is in great hands with Sarah.

Lulu loves going to Casey's. She treats Lulu like she is her own and I know my sweet girl is having a great time and living her best life. We love getting all the photos and we are able to enjoy our time away because we know that Lulu is happy and loved. Thank you, Casey and Colin for always giving Lulu the best care.

Good with dog and good with communication

Katie and Jordan were so great. First time using Rover and they were so communicative and helpful! We appreciate all the love they gave our Roo!

Amber was very accommodating to our girl during her 2 night boarding! She frequently kept me updated on how well she was eating and playing and I got back a very happy and tired puppy!

Yet another amazing stay with Cheyenne and her family! It just keeps getting better every time. We’re so grateful for their care and kindness!

We used Voss for the second time. He did another fantastic job! Our dog comes home happy, not stressed and I can tell she loves it there. He takes great care of her and I know she’s in good hands!!!

Our boys had a blast and were so worn out that they've just lazed around most of the day after. Micki was super accommodating to our unfortunate time constraints due to travel, and understanding when we ended up arriving a bit later due to issues on the road. If we need care for our boys in the future, we certainly know the first place we'll look!

Ashley is The Best! She treats Thor as her own, and is always kind, polite, and professional. Thank you for a comforting overnight of care for our grandpup, ThorBoy!

Amy is the best! My sweet girl can be a lot but Amy made sure she got lots of exercise and she had a blast playing chase and tug with Amy's dog Murray. Amy sent me lots of photos and videos and I felt very comfortable that my dog was in excellent hands while I was on vacation. I will definitely be rebooking with Amy for my next trip.

This boarding was our first time with Jennifer and she exceeded our expectations. My husband and I are new to this area and Jennifer was the only one from Rover that met with us for a few minutes a week before our stay. This made sure our dog was a good fit because he is a large dog, but very friendly. This was so helpful to me when I dropped Tucker off the following week. This also ensured me that Tucker was in good hands and I did not worry about him as I was attending my son's Navy MA graduation. Jennifer as long as we have Tucker, you will be his home away from home when we travel. Thank you so much for the care Tucker received while with you.

Sam and Finn had a wonderful time with Kathy! She was absolutely wonderful and treated them like her own. They received love, treats and even a bath when they got dirty while playing. Kathy is a kind, compassionate person; I can tell she loves animals! We will definitely book with her again in the future and highly recommend!
