Dog Boarding in Lair

Our boys had a blast and were so worn out that they've just lazed around most of the day after. Micki was super accommodating to our unfortunate time constraints due to travel, and understanding when we ended up arriving a bit later due to issues on the road. If we need care for our boys in the future, we certainly know the first place we'll look!

Mariah was outstanding! She kept Rocky for a week and sent several pictures and communicated very quickly if I ever had a question. It’s a great home and great environment. Highly recommend and I will be using her again in the future.

Loni is awesome! She is so great with my dog! He has moments where he gets a bit hyper and has to get his zoomies out, that can be a lot with a big pip! She’s super flexible and always willing to help!

Clyde had a wonderful time with Grace ! She even took him to the dog park and it sure looked like he had tons of fun . Thank you !!

Charlie and Rosie had so much fun with Nancy, they were reluctant to come home with us! That tells me that they were happy and well cared for. Nancy was very responsive to text messages and sent pics. We are very pleased with Nancy.

Lauren was very communicative, professional and caring. Lauren met my pup for a meet and greet near the University of Kentucky. She provided updates throughout the day, including photos, which I really appreciated. I would highly recommend her to watch your pet.

Amber has been great! Bowser absolutely loves her. She’s responsive and flexible. Will definitely be contacting Amber again for future dog sitting!

My pup seemed to be very well adjusted when I picked her up! Andrew was very understanding and helpful when my trip had to be cut short for a family emergency.

Jennifer took such good care of our Sophie! Jennifer has a very nice personality and we like that she provides services for only one dog at a time. We really appreciated her lovely fenced in back yard! We will definitely board Sophie with Jennifer again.

Katie and Jordan were so great. First time using Rover and they were so communicative and helpful! We appreciate all the love they gave our Roo!

Erin and her family did an excellent job taking care of Winter, our goldendoodle. We were nervous to leave her as she’s never had a dog sitter before, but we felt totally comfortable with Erin and her family. She even sent me pictures and texts throughout the week, which was very comforting. We will take her back for our next vacation! Love that our dog is in great hands-not to mention has a playmate (their black lab) who is super sweet! ❤️

So flexible with me, and took great care of my pup! No complaints, really great sitter. My dog has tons of energy and she let me know that she didn’t crate him all weekend. Would totally book with her again.

I’m 99% sure my dog loves Erin more than he does me. I know he is well cared for an happy when with her. She has been so accommodating and flexible with my crazy schedule and requests. I am so grateful for everything she does for my boy and will always be my go to whenever I need him in good hands.

This was our 1st time using Rover. I was super nervous about letting a stranger take care of our baby. However, we hate kennels. They are just jail cells for animals and impersonal. I did a lot of research and review readings before I committed to Rover. We found Shelby. She had many reviews and several repeat customers, which made me feel a little more comfortable. I am a non-believer until I see something & experience it for myself. We had our meet & great at her home. Bear immediately took to her & loved her attention. We decided a few hours later that we were going to try this out. We were going to be gone for 3 nights. We dropped him off (super nervous)! He went with Shelby’s husband with no problem. His tail wasn’t tucked & seemed happy. I guiltily drove off :( Within hours, Shelby was sending me pictures & videos of Bear playing with the other dog & her children. Instantly made me feel more at ease. She continued this throughout our vacation and kept me updated on his eating habits. The more pictures & videos we saw the better we felt about leaving him. It was like he was having his own vacation :) Shelby and her family were awesome. Very attentive & adaptive to our needs. Bear is a part of our family, like our other child. We just want whomever his caregiver is, to treat him the same. Not just as a “dog”. He means the world to us and his happiness is a top priority to us. Thank you for taking care of Bear like he was your own! He was worn out when we got home and we know he had a great time. We would definitely recommend Shelby, and will hopefully use her next time we need a sitter for our Bear <3

Jordan was amazing. She was so kind to my pet. You can tell she loves animals. I would highly recommend her.

We used Voss for the second time. He did another fantastic job! Our dog comes home happy, not stressed and I can tell she loves it there. He takes great care of her and I know she’s in good hands!!!

Tracie and her family were wonderful with Maggie! They even took her trick or treating! Maggie enjoyed the freedom to run around their property and was definitely worn out when she got home. We will use them again for future travel. ❤️

Amy is the best! My sweet girl can be a lot but Amy made sure she got lots of exercise and she had a blast playing chase and tug with Amy's dog Murray. Amy sent me lots of photos and videos and I felt very comfortable that my dog was in excellent hands while I was on vacation. I will definitely be rebooking with Amy for my next trip.
