Cat Sitting in Richmond

I recently took a trip overseas and had to leave my cat home for a week. This is the first time I've been away from her for more than one or two days, so I was very nervous. I can say with utmost confidence that I wouldn't have enjoyed my vacation as much as I did without Tessa's help. Nymeria's not been around many people other than myself, so I knew it'd be difficult for her to adjust to someone else, but Tessa was incredibly patient and understanding with her. She never tried to push Nymeria's boundaries and always made sure each visit was as stress free as possible. Even though the area where I live was going through nasty weather, Tessa made sure I got to see some photos and videos of my cat each day during her visit. Knowing that Tessa was making sure Nymeria was well fed, had plenty of water, and a clean litter box lifted such a weight off my shoulders. Not to mention Tessa also works at a veterinarian clinic! I couldn't have asked for anyone better to watch over my fussy cat when I couldn't be there. Honestly I can't thank Tessa enough!

Haley was awesome again with our very particular and kinda weird cat. I will be contacting her thru Rover first every time we need a pet check-in person. She has seriously set the bar for what our family expects from Rover now. If you're on the fence, don't be.

Cindy was wonderful with my cat, Snowball! I'd definitely trust her and would recommend her to anyone needing a loving pet sitter!

Mindy is great! Took care of our two cats (and our adopted, outdoor stray cat) for a week. She was thorough and so kind, always keeping us up-to-date with daily notes. Mindy is dependable and responsible. She always showed up on time. Highly recommended (and I’m super picky)!

Candace is great! I have booked with her 3 times so far for extended periods of time to help watch my cats while I am out of town. She is very dependable and always keeps me updated on my animals. This was my first time using rover and having someone besides a family member care for my senior cat so I was very nervous about how she would do. Rachael took great care of her and gave me plenty of updates and pictures! Bella did wonderful! Would definitely book with Rachael again!

This was my first time using Rover and first time finding a sitter in my new area after a recent move so I wanted to be sure I found someone who loves cats and would take good care of them while we were away. Hannah was very reliable, prompt and communicated updates and pictures at each visit. She let me know about anything I would need to know with our pets and with our home (such as when our power went out and went it came back on, or how well they were eating or interacting with her). She also gave medicine to one of our kitties each day. Hannah was easily available by phone and was even able to add in an additional impromptu visit to make sure our babies were safe and taken care of (on a holiday weekend I might add!) Her love and concern for our babies was apparent. We will definitely book with Hannah again next time we need a sitter! Thank you! 😊

Excellent communication! Sarah came and did a few drop-in visits while I was out of town. She gave me great updates everyday. Will definitely book with her again!
