House Sitting in New Orleans

Wasn’t easy leaving my 7 year old dog with all his quirks with his newly adopted brother of only 2 weeks with a stranger. But Justin did a great job! House was still standing and dogs were alive. Such a relief!

A perfect experience. Jenna was our first sitter for our 4 mo old puppy. She met our high energy pup and made fast friends. An hour later, while at dinner, Jenna texted us with a picture of our puppy asleep in her lap. Perfect Timing! Jenna is smart, confident and knows dogs well. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for an experience sitter. Pro-Tip for Travelers: Rover will recommend only sitters in you neighborhood. When traveling you need to change your profile address to the hotel address to find a sitter near where you’re staying. Hotel concierge was no help BTW, Rover was the best solution.

Cheryl did an amazing job taking care of my father’s Australian Shepherd, Sheila. She is a little energizer bunny that needs a bunch of exercise daily. Cheryl was kind to take photos of Sheila and send them to us when everyone started missing her. I would definitely recommend Cheryl to anyone that has reservations about using rover services.

Karen took such wonderful care of our pups and home for a whole week! She sent tons of updates and pics. One of our pups is very hard to deal with (not the friendliest with new people), but she somehow managed to win him over. We will definitely book with her again. We highly recommend her :)

Nikoleta made our first rover experience stress free! She took great care of our dog and was quick to reply and sent frequent updates and pictures! She wa sso sweet to our dog and we are so grateful!

Riley is such a wonderful pet & house sitter! She took care of my cat and home for almost two weeks and upon my return, the house looked great and my cat was calm and happy. While I was away, she routinely checked in with photos and videos of my cat. She kept me posted on how things were going at the house and even watered my plants too! She also somehow convinced my indoor/outdoor cat to not cry at the back door constantly—she and Lambo got along swimmingly! Thanks so much Riley!

Rachel stayed in our home and cared for our two dogs and one cat. One had some medication needs. She sent us photos and communicated well. I think our animals enjoyed her company very much. Rachel thank you for taking care of our furkids so well!

Andy is super - reliable and caring - kept my pup safe and happy - continual communication and feedback - could not have asked for a better dog sitter.

Stacy was generous with her time for the meet and greet. My fairly stressy dog felt comfortable and Stacy did a great job taking care of her over a holiday week. She communicated well and met all expectations. I’d definitely rebook.

Elise is wonderful with Maggie and the perfect house sitter. I felt 100% comfortable with her watching both Maggie and my house while I was away. 10/10 would recommend Elise to anyone needing a reliable and loving dog-sitter, and a courteous houseguest.

Miles, Mingus and Monk exclaimed that their mini vacation with Ashley was the best and that she is their favorite among the “Roververse”! She really spoiled us good and proper and we can’t recommend her enough!!!

Leslie watched our two fur babies, one elderly and one rambunctious puppy. She did an amazing job of caring for and loving them. She's responsive and responsible. I give her my full recommendation!

Chel house sat our dog and cat VERY last minute over the Holidays. She was awesome! Chel is responsible and very responsive. She kept us updated at all times and the animals loved her! We will definitely be booking again :).

As per usual, Victoria did an amazing job taking care of our two dogs! We came home to happy, calm dogs and a clean house. Victoria is always on time, reliable, and a great communicator. I can't recommend her enough!

Chandra really helped us a lot by watching our pup, and unexpectedly extending her stay when a friend who was supposed to take over got sick. She was very flexible. By all accounts, the little guy was very happy and well cared for. Thanks Chandra!
