Dog Boarding in Amherst Center

Patrick and Doh have a great set-up for dogs with a great fenced-in yard, doggie door and safety gates. They are both kind "dog" people who recognized the importance of slowly introducing our dog, Nori to her new surroundings--and to their two dogs. We felt confident in their ability to make Nori feel safe and comfortable. Patrick and Doh sent daily texts and pictures which was reassuring. Excellent experience and we highly recommend.

Excellent care, very good communication. Morgan was taken on long walks and cared for like family. She came home tired from her weekend. I felt extremely comfortable leaving her with Josie, Jessica and Phillip. Highly recommend and would use again. Thanks so much!

Heidi was so responsive when I needed a nearly last minute sitter for Remy, my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. I bought an RV and have traveled with 3 dogs before (my Remy, new Yorkie pup, and Courtney’s amazingly trained and smart Border Collie). I looked at the camp grounds and hiking trails we’d be doing and knew Remy would not be a good fit for the trip. See, Maine is ROCKY, and Remy loves to obsess and bark at rocks. Hmmm. Yeah. I don’t get it either. Anyhoo, we left him in Heidi’s care, thinking it would be a vaca for him, too. It was the first time he was left with anyone but close friends we knew overnight. It was so hard to leave him, but Heidi sent pics and updates. At the end of our trip I was dropping the RV off for service in Hatfield and then picking up Remy. I wasn’t able to drop off the RV, and absolutely couldn’t have made it to Heidi’s with it, so I had to call my daughter to come get him from Greenfield. That meant a later than agreed upon pick up, but she was very gracious. My boy came home happy. Thanks, Heidi!

Courtney was an amazing dog sitter for our pups, Benji and Bernie! She was super communicative throughout their stay, keeping us updated with messages and pictures, which gave us such peace of mind. She was also incredibly sweet with both dogs, and it was clear they were having a great time. Our senior dog has a few extra care needs (meds, belly band, etc.), but Courtney handled everything with confidence—she didn’t seem intimidated at all. Plus, with several roommates in the house, there were always extra hands available for cuddles, which our dogs definitely appreciated! We’d absolutely book with Courtney again. Highly recommend!

Megan was wonderful with my 2 pets. She messaged me pics and kept me in the loop the entire time we were gone. I felt very safe leaving my dog and cat with her.

I don’t think I’ve ever felt more comfortable leaving my dog with someone. She offered to do a meet and greet with me so she could meet Cody. She also welcomed me into her home, it was so nice to chat with her. What a great house for a dog. She has a huge fenced in yard. My dog is a senior dog (14) who takes 2 medications 2x a day. She was comfortable giving medication and making sure he took it. She let me know how he settled and sent me daily updates with pictures. Sandra watched Cody for me over Thanksgiving which I’m extremely grateful for. I had only contacted her two weeks prior and she was able to accommodate me. When I picked up Cody he didn’t even want to leave. I HIGHLY recommend Sandra.

Patti and her family were great! My dog, Snowball, was extremely comfortable there; they treated her like one of the family, letting her sit on their laps and snuggling up and napping by the wood stove. Patti was happy to give the medication twice a day. She sent many photos of Snowball enjoying walks, and the fenced-in yard. I couldn't ask for a better family to watch my pet!

Janice was the best sitter for our dogs! She sent regular updates with many photos too- which kept us less worried and homesick. I highly recommend booking her ? added bonus was her children who played with our pups and gave them all the more love!

I recently relocated to Connecticut and have been stressing about finding someone to watch my high energy Golden Retriever. Allison and family were very accommodating and responsive, I cannot recommend her enough. My dog did not want to go home, she had so much fun!

Our dog was happy & relaxed when we picked him up after 3 days with John. We are so happy we found John. He takes great care of Baxter and sends us pictures & updates every day.

Julia took great care of our senior dog, Major. He came home happy and calm, and even gained a bit of weight (much needed) with her compassionate attention! I will use Julia again, and highly recommend her to anyone needing to board their furry friends.

I had to contact Nikki on short notice because my school had not approved my emotional support dog accommodation at the time. I had to ask her to push the pick up time back twice and she was accommodating every step of the way. She sent me photos and videos of her throughout the week letting me know how she was doing. I will recommend to everyone I know.

Paul and his associates were amazing. Oliver was at first confused but later was happy ,healthy,and our loving boy! Upon our return! I will again turn to Paul and peeps!!

Heather & Norman were great! Very passionate with dogs! My pups were comfortable and at ease at drop off and pick up. Provided pictures and updates during the stay. Zeus and their daughter were amazing too!
