House Sitting in East Freetown

Darcy was absolutely wonderful! I am so glad she stayed with my dog Gus while we were away. She was so sweet and I could tell right away after meeting her that she loved animals. She was so kind to Gus and he felt comfortable with her right away. Her communication was great. I got daily updates on how Gus was doing with a photo. She’d message me back if I sent her a message to check in. She took him for a walk each day which I know he loved. I never worried about him while we were gone, because I knew he was in good hands. A couple days before she was due to arrive she checked in with me to confirm the dates and times. She let me know when she got here as well. And she even asked me if I’d message her to let her know when we arrived home safely. While taking care of Gus was her main priority, I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the excellent care she took of our home while she stayed here. I came home to a spotless house with clean sheets on the bed. It was like she was never here. I know that wasn’t her job, but it was so appreciated. Leaving your pets and home in the care of someone else can be scary, but with Darcy I never worried. I knew Gus was having a great time, he was safe, fed, had his medicine and had time to play and go for walks. We put a lot of time and money into our trip and being able to spend it without worrying about Gus was priceless. I’m so grateful to Darcy for making that happen. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone to care for their pets when they’re away!

Meghan was fantastic with our dog and three cats! She is dependable, reliable, attentive, and responsive. She provided daily updates and photos of our pets and went above and beyond when we needed to ask her for an unexpected errand. She left our house in great condition and all our pets were happy and healthy all week! Will definitely be booking with her again in the future. Thanks Meghan!

Hannah was so sweet, and Porkchop absolutely loved her! She sent pictures and let me know how good he was doing. She followed my crazy dog mom note that I left her to a T! Absolutely will be having Hannah love on my dog again in the future. 10/10

Kim was a great pet sitter. It was so nice to know our dogs + cat were comfortable and taken care of. She sent daily updates and was so considerate of our home. Would absolutely recommend her to everyone!

Alani did a great job taking care of our two dogs while we were away for 6 nights. We really appreciated the photo updates through the day to see how they were doing. Alani did a great job of handling one of our dog's daily mediciations and caring for our other dog who can be very shy and scared by noises. By the end of the days both of the dogs were cuddling with her and seemed very comfortable. We also appreciated the house being very clean when we got back. We will definitely be using Alani again for dog care in the future!

Emma took great care of my boy while I was on a brief trip. She did a great job with him!

Cassie was excellent. I don’t have enough adjectives to praise her. She was reliable and went above and beyond in taking care of my dog. She was also a SUPER houseguest, and left the house sparkling! I will absolutely use her again and recommend her highly.

Rebecca was a great sitter for our 2 dogs! She took them for walks, played outside with them, and gave them lots of love. We also appreciated when she texted us photos of them that showed they were very happy. This was our first time hiring a sitter on Rover and we were very pleased. Rebeca is very knowledgeable and made the process easier than we thought it would be. Thank you Rebecca!

If you’re looking for peace of mind while you’re away look no further than Colleen. She was extremely professional and truly loves dogs. Took good care of our house and dogs and will definitely book with her again. She’s got a great personality and provides beautiful photos and videos of your pets while you’re away. Colleen is hands down the best in the area.

Sam is an animal lover who is experienced, responsible, and a joy to work with. We, including our cats, could not be happier. She coordinates on the schedule / instructions well. She listens well and asked good clarifying questions. When we were away, she kept us regularly updated, including with photos. Our shy orange cat runs away from visitors. When they met for the first time, Sam approached our shy guy as an experienced animal lover, he let her approach him. And even let her pet him. Our cats were happily sleeping when we came back from vacation. Their coats were so soft/clean & they acted like we had not been away. Certainly they were well cared for. Also, our house was as clean as we had left it. Sam kept the kitchen especially clean – with all the cat bowls & spoons cleaned. Her bedroom, bathroom, living space, and the cat's litter area were also very clean.

Melissa was INCREDIBLE!! She was basically doomed because we had her watch our 4 month old beagle puppy (not yet house trained ?) AND a grouchy old cat AND 9 chickens! She not only took amazing care of our little furry family members, she also took wonderful care of our house! It’s probably not standard for house sitters to offer to take out the garbage, water your plants, check your mail, clean up after themselves and wash all their own linens-but Melissa did all that while also constantly cleaning up after a BABY BEAGLE!!! If you’re considering pet sitting or house sitting or anything else, look no further than Melissa. SHE IS THE VERY BEST!!!

Alyssa is fantastic and a wonderful new friend for my fur babies. Her calm demeanor is a wonderful match for my sassy pupper. She checked in and sent pics while I was away over night keeping me at ease.

We hired isabel to stay in our home with our two elderly pups and she took amazing care of them. She was communicative and shared lots of photos. She was very respectful of our home and left it very clean.
