House Sitting in Goshen

Lauren was absolutely fantastic! My dogs were happy and I'm pretty sure barely missed us,Lol. Lauren sent me pictures throughout her time with my pets. She did totally great handling 2 Great Pyrenees who have 0 leash manners and aren't a heck of a lot better in the house. She kept my dog on his meds. She even got my cat to snuggle in with one of my dogs, which hasn't happened in forever. She left the house just as clean as she got it. We will definitely book Lauren again!

Ash was great. He had an instant rapport with our two dogs - who, by the way, are very different from one another. One is a 90 lb. Labrador/bloodhound mix, 8 years old; the other is a Yorkie/Maltese mix, 16 lbs., 1.5 years old. They get along famously. The little guy is epileptic and had a seizure while we were away, and Ash was prepared and handled it perfectly. He kept us informed and sent photographs to keep us calm, as it was the first time we had left the dogs so we could get away. Ash also took care of the house and even offered to water the plants. This was our first time using Rover, but certainly not our last.

Kristin was really great with my high energy big dog. She sent so many pictures which I really appreciated, checked in/out with me when she arrived and left, and stayed in constant communiation for August's meals. I appreciated that Kristin came over for a meet and greet before the actual sit and asked questions throughout the stay. My dog is very strong and still working on training on leash and greeting other dogs so I did not have Kristin take August on walks but she took the time and played with him in the backyard to use up some of his energy. I'd highly recommend Kristin for any pet needs and hopefully some future sits for myself!

Jaclyn took wonderful care of our dog and our rabbit!! She is warm, attentive, responsible, and a great communicator. Bear and Bunny are looking forward to next time!!

James was so wonderful with our anxious dog! We received frequent updates throughout the week and it was clear that James has lots of experience and passion in caring for animals! Very thoughtful, caring, and easy to work with! So grateful!

This was our first experience leaving our dogs at home with in-house sitting and Lori was exceptional. She gave us regular updates and our dogs were very comfortable with her! We will definitely use her again!

Janet did a GREAT job caring for our girl, tons of walks amd company even with a 2ft snow blizzard during her stay. Kept the house amd took care of everything that came up too! Totally recommended!!

Matt was an excellent sitter for Max. In addition, he left my home in the same condition as when he arrived. I will not hesitate to seek his services again.

Alexis did a wonderful job caring for my two cats, Echo and Raven! From the beginning, it was clear how much she genuinely loves animals — she connected with my girls right away during the meet and greet, which made me feel instantly at ease. While I was away, she kept me updated with lots of adorable photos and thoughtful messages, which I absolutely loved. It was so reassuring to see how relaxed and content Echo and Raven looked — they were clearly getting plenty of love, affection and playtime. She even took out the trash and vacuumed around the apartment, which I truly appreciated so much! I’m so grateful for the care and affection Alexis gave my girls, and I look forward to having her care for them again! She is an amazing sitter, I highly recommend!

My husband and I had to travel; my older cat had just been diagnosed with diabetes; and my regular pet/house-sitter was unavailable. So instead of panicking (though I was close), I turned to Rover.com and found wonderful Bree! I wanted someone who was comfortable giving daily insulin injections to a suspicious "patient." Bree not only handled this task expertly, but she also pointed out an irregularity in the insulin dosage ... an error or either my vet's part or my own (probably the latter). It was a great catch! Bree bonded quickly with both kitties (even the highly suspicious one); she sent me regular updates and photos without my asking; and I returned to an immaculate house. I will happily ask Bree to stay here again.

Ziggy is an absolute gem. She went above and beyond to make our medically complex pups comfortable. We haven’t been able to take a vacation in a long time because we’ve been so worried about leaving our dogs due to their many MANY quirks and medical conditions. Ziggy instantly put us at ease, updated us often, and was willing to get creative when needed. We would 100% book them again (and plan to!).
