Dog Boarding in Lexington

Oana and Oliver were absolutely wonderful with our dog Lexi. They have an excellent fenced in backyard and sent lots of updates. They asked lots of great questions to make sure they knew our dog’s routine and preferences. You can tell they really care about the dogs they look after!

A wonderful family environment, and they were incredibly welcoming and charming. Fiona was received with love and kindness during her stay, and we will definitely be booking with them again. Highly recommended!

Paul was great with our anxious/reactive little problem child! We explained beforehand how Robie has some problems typical of adult rescues — and during Robie’s first stay, Paul exuded patience and calm (despite getting snapped and growled at). It was so nice to see Paul’s pictures throughout the day; Robie went from forlornly looking out the window for us to napping comfortably at Paul’s feet. We’re so glad that our little dog now has another human that he/we can trust!

Jieming and Lauren were amazing! They took care of my dog for 2.5 weeks and made her feel right at home. She tends to be shy and slow to warm up, but she had no problem with them. They sent lots of updates and photos, which reassured me she was comfortable and happy. Their patient, caring approach showed they truly understand dogs. I highly recommend them and will definitely reach out again!

Our Boston Terrier, Ruby, stayed with Arnav and his family for ten days and it could not have gone better. They treated her with such love and kindness. We felt at ease with them right away, even though Ruby is an elderly dog who has not been cared for outside of our home in more than a decade. Arnav sent us photo updates each day and it made us so happy and relieved to see how well Ruby was faring. Before our trip, we took Ruby for an initial meet-and-greet, which was fantastic. It was immediately obvious that Arnav has a fondness for and great experience with all sorts of dogs. From his first interactions with Ruby, one could see he knew how to approach and get a feel for a dog. While we were away, Arnav was gentle and attentive to Ruby’s every need. For example, she is a very senior dog who can only tolerate the shortest of leash walks. Ruby also arrived at their house with a still-healing shoulder injury. Most people caring for her would have been content to let her out to their back yard just as we do. In fact, we told Arnav that was all that was necessary, as it would have been entirely sufficient for her. Arnav did let Ruby out into his backyard, however, he and his family did not leave it at that. Instead, they carried her like a canine queen to and from the green park a block or so away from their house so Ruby could enjoy and explore. At this point, you may be surmising that Ruby has become a bit of a diva in her dotage. This diva behavior has seeped into her eating habits and food preferences. She has become finicky and at times demands a little topper to entice her and enhance her kibble eating experience. We told Arnav about Ruby’s tendencies and about our practice of topping her meals if she wouldn’t eat, and he didn’t bat an eye. Arnav and his family satisfied Ruby’s food whims with an array of tasty toppers and she was delighted. Arnav and his family mentioned they had a Boston Terrier themselves at one time, so it was clear they loved and understood the breed in general, and Ruby in particular while we were away. Arnav sent us a daily photo or video of Ruby so we could see how well she was settling in and what she was doing. We all loved seeing her happy, comfortable, and well cared for. It really made our day and our trip more relaxed to receive these regular updates. A prime example of how kind Arnav and his family are is when I accidentally texted my reply to their photo update, utterly forgetting the difference in our time zones. I had texted my response in the middle of the night! I felt awful, and they didn’t mention it, let alone reprimand my unfortunate timing. Lastly, their lovely family home is so immaculate that it is hard to imagine they allow dogs to visit them, let alone host them for days on end. It was an environment more than fit for our geriatric queen, Ruby. We have only glowing things to report in choosing Arnav and his family to care for Ruby, and highly recommend him to anyone who is seeking out a thoughtful, responsible, and caring dog-sitter.

As always Kimm and Kenn took such good care of our pup. They sent me daily updates and pictures. This was the longest we have ever left our dog and I was at ease leaving him with them!

Our dog stayed with Francois for more than three weeks and had a blast. Francois took great care of our dog, communicated well and took care of Watson even when he had issues with his tummy and leg.

Betsy was incredibly responsible and compassionate with our dog. My dog was in the process of healing from a paw injury and needed to wear a cone. Betsy and her sweet family gave our dog all the TLC she needed.

Yang and Pat were amazing with Romeo. I got many wonderful photos throughout my trip. The best was him going to school with her son❤️. Romeo was in such great hands. He was quite tired from all his wonderful walks everyday. He can't wait to see this lovely family again.😊

Robert was great when we asked him to watch Sansa for the weekend. He is very prompt when responding to requests or questions, set up a meet and greet to ensure our dogs became comfortable with each other, and was very flexible with our schedule and needs. He also sent pictures of how much fun Sansa was having while we were away! I would definitely recommend Robert if you are looking for a pet-sitter where your dog will be looked after consistently, have frequent scheduled potty breaks, and time to run around and play in the dog park nearby. Barbara and Jenn are the best pet sitters in town! My dog, Maru, is quite particular and shy, sometimes making people challenging to handle, as he yelps randomly at strangers when he's scared. Jenn and Barbara took excellent care of him and sent daily updates. I highly recommend Barbara if you're looking for a sitter for your small furry friends. They also have a friendly Chihuahua named Chiquita and often welcome small-sized visitors!

The BEST experience! Yi was wonderful. She kept us updated with texts and photos throughout Timber’s stay. Timber had never been away from us, so we are so grateful that we found such an incredible home for our dog. Yi is kind, knowledgeable, and caring. She and her family took excellent care of Timber. I am so impressed with the attention they gave to Timber. What a relief knowing your dog is in caring experienced hands. If we could give ten stars, we would. Positively outstanding.

Wei was excellent with our senior dog Himalaya. She sent a lot of great photos each day and truly cares for dogs, asking about Himalayas needs, preferences, and about how she could make the stay better. Their dog, Chowpa, brought a smile to our faces as he’s friendly, cute, and typically dressed in a fun outfit. We greatly appreciate Wei and would not hesitate to book another stay for Himalaya with her.

We found Yick-hong and his wife to be extremely thoughtful about caring for our pup. They considered every aspect of dog care and were sure to make Reese feel right at home. We received the right amount of updates throughout our trip and our doggo came home happy. Would definitely recommend.

Adrienne was a great sitter! I messaged her last minute asking to watch our dog Ellie for the weekend, and she replied right away and we were able to meet her that day. She was very responsive and even sent us photos of Ellie having fun during her stay. Ellie had a great stay on the farm and was good and tired when she got home! Thanks Adrienne for putting up with Ellie's puppy energy.

Krystal took amazing care of our little dog while we were on an extended trip. She is very accommodating, fair and communicative. She sent frequent updates and photos. She was ok with administering our dog’s medication, which was greatly appreciated. Overall we had a great experience and highly recommend Krystal.

We had an incredible experience with Michiko and Clifford. Not only did they readily accommodate our schedule for the onboarding meeting, but they also showed exceptional care for our dog. They noticed he wanted more time to explore the new area and, completely unprompted, took him for a significantly longer walk late at night. We loved the photo updates, too. Their service was both reliable and exceptionally attentive, leaving us completely satisfied.

March is an excellent dog sitter! We feel so comfortable traveling knowing that he’s taking care of our girl. He sends daily pictures and has a yard and nearby trails, so my dog always comes home well exercised and happy. We couldn’t recommend him more highly!
