House Sitting in Marlborough

Sonny, my cat friend, is rather shy and has really only let 5 people pet him at the house in the last 9 years. Wanting to make my time away less stressful for him, I opted to have Sara housesit so that Sonny would have time to get used to his new caretaker. Sara did a wonderful job getting him out of his shell, making him comfortable and making my vacation more enjoyable. She took very good care of him and left the house like she hadn't even been there. I would highly recommend her for any of your furry friend needs. Sara - Thank you very much!

Jennifer was great! She did an overnight stay to watch our 2 pups. She sent a lot of updates and pics and hung out with them most of the time. I'm sure they were sad to see her go!

Cam was fantastic with our pups. Waffles had sprained a paw a few days before sitting so her normal crazy self turned into a dog not wanting to go up and down stairs or outside. Cam took great care of her and Hash and we came home to two happy pups.

Julie-Anne did an amazing job watching our sheltie Pepper while we were away. Julie-Anne's warmth and love of animals were apparent from our first meeting. Pepper instantly bonded with her. Julie-Anne sent updates and awesome photos daily. We returned to a happy dog and a clean house. We highly recommend Julie-Anne and will definitely be using her again.

We have two incredibly high-maintenance dogs—one elderly and terrified of pretty much everyone, and the other a high-energy ball of anxiety. Chelsea shocked us (in the best way) with how quickly she connected with each of them. She was calm, patient, and in tune with their needs. It’s rare to find someone who “gets” them so fast, and even rarer to find someone we fully trust to stay in our home and care for them like we would. Chelsea was excellent to work with, and there’s no doubt we’ll be booking with her again!

Sam was so great with our dog. She is very anxious and doesn't like when we go away, but we got home and she was super relaxed and happy. Sam was great about communicating with us and sending pics and updates. Thank you!!

Joiee was a wonderful sitter for our senior pup! She was incredibly responsive leading up to our trip, while we were away, and even after we returned. This was our first experience with having a dog sitter in our home so it was such a relief to see our dog warm up to her so quickly. We will definitely rebook with Joiee and would recommend her to other families.

Jacqueline was the best dog sitter we have ever had. She lived in our home for a week and took amazing care of our two dogs and guinea pigs. She sent daily photos of our pets which we really appreciated. We returned home to very happy pets and a spotless house.

Eric has been a great and reliable sitter for my dogs Greg and Nikko. This was the first time we had someone stay over our house with the dogs, and it was incredibly seamless! Eric was great at keeping in touch and sending photos throughout the day. He also has a great eye and even let us know when he saw a rash on my dog - something I was able to address immediately when I got home. Highly recommend!

Emily was FANTASTIC with our dog Penny during a weekend hour sitting. It was our first time ever leaving Penny alone for a few days and we were nervous, but Emily made us feel right at ease with her updates and photos of Penny having a great time. Penny was immediately in love with her and we would 100% book her again. Thanks again Emily!!

Rachel was wonderful! She dog and house sat for us for 6 days and stayed over at our house. She took excellent care of our two rescue dogs, both pretty needy. Would highly recommend her for all your pet and housesitting needs!

Wow. There isn’t a single person we would rather have watch our dogs in this entire world than Elizabeth. She is just as good of a house guest as she is a dog sitter. Our dog absolutely loved her and she gave awesome updates whether we asked or not. Your dog will be a better dog than you left them after some time with Elizabeth. Miriam is the best dog sitter we have ever had. We have had many through Rover or other pet sitting organisations, and she is head and shoulders above them. She was so attentive and caring for our two dogs. She sat during the hottest day in Boston so far and was incredible ensuring they didn’t overheat. She was very communicative, providing updates and pictures regularly. I would definitely hire her again.

Ally took great care of our dogs when we went out of town for a couple nights! She was prompt and asked insightful questions about each of our dogs' needs and personalities before we left, and kept us updated with pictures and anecdotes throughout our trip. We came home to two happy and tired dogs.

Becki was awesome! She was able to accommodate an overnight stay last minute on a busy holiday weekend. She made sure to get all of our dogs specific requirements and meet him ahead of time, and provided updates and pictures throughout the stay.
