Dog Boarding in Newbury

Donna and her husband Roland took excellent care of our two year old Havanese. They made sure she had all of the comforts of home and I would definitely leave her with them again.

Sonny had an exceptional week with Mike and his wife. He had a large, fenced yard to run and play. He had windows to look out and keep an eye on the neighborhood, and he could sleep where he wanted. I know he had fun as he slept on the car ride home and went back to the couch when we got home. Very nice couple. Sonny would agree if he could!

My old Labrador had a great time with Lindsay and her family. I was a little nervous leaving her because of her age but I got lots of pictures and updates while I was away.

To leave our furry family member in Christine's care, I was reassured by Christine's experience with animals and her being in constant contact with us throughout the week. Her fenced-in yard, her puctuality, photographs, mentioning details of how our dog had behaved, and her questions regarding what we would like. We hadn’t used Rover in some time so we were worried about how our dog would handle a new environment, but Rebeca and her family took such great care of our dog Max! We were very lucky to find her on Rover. Such a wonderful setting for our pooch. Would highly recommend. We’ll definitely be bringing our dog back!

Murphy, our 8 month old french bulldog puppy, has the absolute best time with Julie and family! He never wants to leave. While this hurts our feelings, we are very happy to know that he loves the time he spends "on vacation". We are so excited to have found this great family to help us when we have to be away from our boy.

Rose did a wonderful job taking care of our dog, Calvin! From the moment we dropped him off, she made us feel completely at ease. She sent regular updates, photos, and check ins to let us know how he was doing, which really gave us peace of mind while we were away. It was clear that Calvin felt comfortable and loved in her care. He looked so happy in every picture!

John and Donna are absolutely amazing! Great communication before the stay and during. They took great care of Sam and sent us updates throughout our trip. They treated our dog just like one of her own. We will definitely be using them again!

Denise was extremely flexible as we had a last minute change in the pick-up! And she doted on our 2 chihuahuas! We will be using her again to take care of our boys!

Felicia took excellent care of our 7 month old Bernedoodle. She provided regular updates with pictures and was extremely responsive if I randomly checked in. 11/10 would recommend!

Nikki was great with our little Yuki. She sent pictures and took really good care of her while she stayed over. You could tell that she really enjoyed being with her and taking care of her like we would have. We will definitely use her again.

Julia was amazing with my Coco! Coco is a senior dog with anxieties, and Julia was such a warm and welcoming environment. She is very patient and caring, and I highly recommend her!

We are so grateful to Kristen & Bobby for taking such wonderful care of our pup, Sonny! This was our first time using Rover, and they made the entire experience seamless and stress-free. They were incredibly communicative, kind, and truly treated Sonny like part of their family. We got regular updates and could tell he felt right at home with them. He came back calm, happy, and clearly well-loved. We’d absolutely trust them again in the future—highly recommend!

Laura was absolutely amazing with my dogs, Rusty and Milo. I really appreciated the video updates she sent during their stay—it gave me peace of mind knowing they were happy and well cared for. Her beautiful, fenced backyard with trees and fun obstacles is a perfect play space for dogs to explore. My Milo can be a bit stubborn about coming back inside, but Laura was incredibly patient and kind with him. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and loving pet sitter!

Krista was so wonderful with our two babies. She was very communicative and went above and beyond for us. This is our second time using her and will again when in the area!!

We have used Sylwia and Doug once again for multiple stays this summer and Dewey now considers them part of his family!! We just open the car door and he’s off! Can’t recommend this Rover enough!!!

What more can I say about Donnie that hasn't been said before? He was the first person I trusted to watch my puppy, Nathaniel. This was Nathaniel's first time away from us, and like most dog parents, we spoil him rotten. I guess we're trying to make up for past mistakes. Donnie was fantastic. He's a true dog lover with a deep understanding of canine behavior. He paired Nathaniel with playmates of similar size and temperament, which put my mind at ease. I was understandably anxious about leaving Nathaniel for four days, but Donnie's frequent text messages, photos, and even a video kept me updated and reassured. If I ever need a reliable and caring sitter again, I know Nathaniel will be in good hands with Donnie.

Our puppy really loved Michelle, and we can tell she took great care of him and takes this responsibility seriously. We will ask her to babysit again!
