Dog Boarding in Norfolk

Whitney was great. She was responsive with communication. Importantly, our dog is generally quite sensitive about boarding. Often she will come back after boarding for a week and still be a little sad/off for a few days. Coming home from Whitney she was her normal self. Boarding a dog never a great feeling, but I greatly appreciated Whitney providing our dog with an environment where she appeared to be comfortable and relaxed.

Emily provided a welcoming place for our pup and was very sweet to her. We felt like she was well cared for and that Emily nicely kept in touch providing text updates and photos of Rosie’s adventures while we were away.

Lyndsey & Evan were amazing. They cared for our dog Ziggy while we were away. They took ziggy on daily walks/hikes- he had an absolute blast. They sent photos, videos and updates throughout. We felt at ease while we were away knowing Ziggy was in such good hands!!

Mac loved his time with John & Sharon and we are very happy with the care that they gave. They were great communicators around drop off and pick up and shared photo updates daily. We plan to have John & Sharon watch Mac again!

Daisy had a wonderful time at Alex's house! Their fenced in backyard is a dog's heaven. They took great care of Daisy and send me pictures during the weekend. Thank you!

Our dog stayed with Sean for 7 nights and have only positive things to say! This was our first time using Rover and Sean was incredibly responsive during the booking process, leading up to our dog’s stay, and providing constant reports and photos during the stay. We will definitely use Sean’s services again.

Julie made Frankie feel right at home from the moment I pulled up. To need someone the last minute for work is a bit stressful but Julie made the process a breeze. Then knowing Frankie would be happy and get plenty of attention put my mind at ease. He seemed not sure if he really wanted to go home so Frankie must have had a great time!!

This was our first time using Rover and are totally pleased with Jenna and Michael. They provided many updates and pictures which set us at ease. Mack was very happy when we picked him up…thanks again

Erin and John took such amazing care of our Mia while we were in Europe for almost two weeks! We greatly appreciated the daily video walk and updates! Thank you both for the love and care you provided our four legged 11 year old baby!! I’m sure Mia is looking forward to seeing you again!

Kira and her husband were so wonderful! She routinely provided me with feedback on how Milo was doing and it was so fun seeing pictures of what he was up to. It was our dog’s first time sleeping away and he was a bit anxious but Kira handled it beautifully and made us feel so comfortable. Looking forward to Milo’s next visit!

Sarah and Ben are wonderful! They were very accommodating and wanted to ensure that our dogs had a successful stay. They sent pictures and provided thorough updates, putting us at ease. We are grateful for the care they provided and will definitely be rebooking with them again. Highly recommend!

Jess and her family are just so awesome. We can tell they love watching our pup and it makes us feel so comfortable with leaving him with them. We receive consistent pictures and updates, she is always flexible and communicative, and he comes home happy (and tired!) each time. Thank you so much Jess!

Annmarie was an excellent pet sitter! It was our first time using Rover, and we rarely leave our dog. Annmarie put my mind at ease when we had our initial meeting, and I felt like my dog was comfortable at her house. While we were away, Annmarie sent frequent pictures and updates. We loved how well she kept in touch with us. I would definitely book with her again!

Alyson and her daughter were so attentive to watching my cat for a long stay. They consistently sent photos and updates and were very affectionate with my cat while I was away! They were also flexible and worked around my difficult flight schedule for pickup/drop off. I will be sure to use her for future bookings!

Monica was great! Lots of communication and photos the whole weekend. She also was super flexible when our plane home kept getting delayed - we got home in time for the scheduled drop off anyway, but it was a relief to know there were options. Most important, Atlas had a great time!

Thank you, Haley!!! You completely eased my worries about leaving Millie with someone new. Your thoughtful attention and the time you spent with her before her “vacation” made all the difference. It was clear she felt safe and loved with you and your family. In fact, the day after she came home, she seemed genuinely sad—definitely experiencing Haley and family withdrawals! I’m so grateful for the care you gave her and absolutely look forward to having you watch Millie again in the future.

A wonderful sitter! Mishka had an exceptional time, was well looked after, and I felt confident in the hands I was leaving him in.

Our Lily girl had a wonderful stay with Priti. All of the photo updates were really nice to receive as well. We would love to have Lily stay with Priti again in the future.

Absolutely fabulous visit! Paula and her family treated our dog like their own! A nice safe place for the dogs to play and the communication was top rate. It's a good feeling when you are away to know your pet is with someone who cares as much as you do. I would totally recommend Paula B.!
