Dog Boarding in Sheffield

Teresa is a real dog person and dog lover. She is very sensitive to the needs of each dog in her care, and she takes great care of each and everyone of them. Our dog Otis came back healthy, and while very glad to see us, he looked longinly at the dogs her had such fun with, and now had to leave. Teresa has a very large fenced in yard, so there is lots of space for play and exercise. I went through all the available daycare and boarding people on Rover and read through each bio carefuly, and even though Teresa was an hour away from where we were staying, I chose her to care for Otis and was very glad I did. Whe we return to the Berkshires, we will definetly use her caring service again. We highly recommend Teresa.

Our little Westie, Lexi, had such a wonderful time with John the first time we left her with him that we recently left her for a repeat visit. Once again, John did a great job of keeping in touch with us with messages and photos of Lexi while we were away. When we picked her up on our return she was in great shape and clearly had a fabulous time.

Our dog Max had a great time with Peter and Monique. They were kind and took him for walks and offered plenty of lap time to keep him happy while we were gone.

Janice was great! Our cats are really shy and she was so gentle and patient with them. Her home is friendly and cozy. She was easy to communicate with and very responsive. We’d send our cats there any time!!

Mary and Todd are wonderful with our almost 5 month old puppy. They are understanding of her puppy energy and give her long walks. I'm very happy to leave her in their home.

Franny is a very thoughtful and caring sitter. I trust not only that my 13 year old Maltese will be well cared but also that she will have a great time. Will always check with Franny first when needing a sitter.

Magnolia was an excellent dog sitter for little Winnie . She gave her her medication and watched her carefully because Winnie is old and her back legs are weak so she needs extra TLC which Magnolia provided I was caring for my husband who had surgery so Magnolia actually drove Winnie home to our house so I did not have to pick her up - this is far more than I would expect and I am very grateful she is highly recommended .. This was my 1st time using this service and Michal and John were lovely to work with. They took good care of our beloved Gracie and took all her issues into account since she is a rescue and cannot be left alone due to anxiety! She did run away but they let me know right away and the neigborhood banded together and found her quickly and even took off the tics found on her and made sure she was ok. I think that only happened due to Gracie being in a strange situation and she was trying to find us! Michal was very quick to address it with me on the phone and put our minds at ease with pics and text messages every single day! She was allowed on thier furniture and in thier bed and met new friends whom she played with during her stay! I would recommend them and use thier services again! Rover made this stressful job of boarding your pet much easier and I am pleased!

Alex and Bethany are amazing caregivers and treated my dog, Cinna, like she was instantly part of their family. Cinna had a lot of space to play and explore with them and the provided updates and pictures as I requested. They are my go to caregivers for my dog and cat, anytime I need to travel. Your animals will be in great hands and be spoiled with love under care of these amazing people!

Christine was great! This was my first time using Rover.com and it was a very good experience. Christine was super nice and I felt very comfortable leaving my 1 year old goldendoodle with her. I also greatly appreciated the picture she sent of him and his new friend.

Brooke was easy to communicate with and she took good care of Allie during her stay, getting her outside for walks and playing fetch. Thanks again Brooke!

Cindy is more than a sitter. As a dog trainer who grew up on a farm, she truly understands, and communicates with each individual animal. There is a huge fenced in yard for the dogs, and they stay in her family's cozy house. Cindy will spend time talking with you about your pet, and their needs. Her training tips for me have been so valuable! I have three big dogs; a young crazy Lab boy, another Lab with a disability, and a beautiful but intense shepherd mix. They are all so excited to go to Cindy's! She handles them with grace and aplomb. Cindy is optimistic, and gentle, and will care for your dog with love, and a firm sense of boundaries that helps to put any dog at ease. My dogs actually come home more well behaved than before their Cindy vacation! Nothing Cindy does is fear based. Her discipline is always caring, and compassionate. I also enjoy Cindy's company. Her gentle compassion, and positive personality extend beyond the realm of animals. It's just who she is! Both you and your pup will have a wonderful experience with Cindy!

Candice is the dog sitter I've been looking for! My dog is not your rough house, high energy kind of dog. She likes people around, is shy of other dogs, and isn't sure what children are. Candice and her kids handled her with real sensitivity and care. Candice was responsive, accommodating, and very positive. Highly recommended.

Alfie spent one night and a day with Lynette and he had a ball. He became great friends with Honey, their golden retriever. They played a lot and ended up sleeping in each other's beds. Lynette sent me photos of Alfie playing, which I enjoyed seeing. He came home very happy. We can't wait to go on our 5 day trip so Alfie can have his fun vacation at Lynette's home too! Highly recommend her!

Michelle and her family, and their sweet dog Willow are our dog’s home away from home. We can’t recommend them enough and will continue to book Ziggy with them whenever we travel.

Laura is amazing! I can't thank her enough. Moon was having a blast while staying with Laura and her family. I can see Moon's behavior is so much better, especially with other dogs plus the recall. :) I recommend Laura if you need someone to take care of your fur babies while you are away.

This is first time I am boarding Bumi for more than a week. Jess is very responsive. Was in touch with me through out booking period. She shared pics for Bumi. Made my travel stress free. Bumi loved her little vacation . Will definitely use Jess service again. Infact I am already planning . Thank you Jess .
