House Sitting in Somerville

Hannah was incredible with our two pups! She stayed at our place and took incredible care of our boys. She is kind, caring and responsible. She gave plenty of updates and photos. I’d highly recommend her to care for your furry friends!

I cannot recommend Tam enough. As a very anxious dog parent, this was the first time I’ve ever left my pup with someone who wasn’t a close friend or family member. This was also the longest my partner and I had been away from him (5 days). Tam put all my anxiety to ease almost immediately. She shared basically a diary of my dog’s day every single day, complete with lots of photos! She spoke to his eating habits, if there were any issues with his stool or stomach, and his mood every day. She was extremely communicative. When I got home, my dog was so peaceful and clearly well-rested, which is saying something considering his separation anxiety! Tam even made us a couple of stickers of photos she had taken of Auggie. Our apartment was spotless and Tam was considerate of our space. I really cannot recommend her enough, and I have so much peace of mind knowing that we have an incredible sitter to rebook for our next trip!

Alice took great care of my cat! He seemed to feel comfortable with her right away, and she did all of the things I asked her to do. She was a great communicator and also sent lots of photos and videos.

Aaron did a great job with Lulu! She is a very skittish girl and he was able to get her to go on her full walks. I am very pleased with his work.

Maddie is a fantastic dog sitter! She took great care of our pooch while we were out of town for a few days. We appreciated receiving frequent updates and it was clear that our dog (and apartment) were well taken care of! We look forward to having Maddie dog sit again in the future.

Elise did a fabulous job caring for my 9 year old rescued Maltese Chihuahua mix! I got some pictures and small updates while away which is always so comforting. Elise also took great care of the apartment, leaving things virtually exactly as I left them … we’d love to have her stay again in future! Highly recommend!

Maddy was a phenomenal dog sitter! She sent us pics everyday to let us know of all the fun our dog was having. She kept the place tidy and brought little treats for our dog. When I needed to leave for my trip earlier than expected, she was able to accommodate the extra time. Excited for the next time Maddy watches our dog!

Andrew was amazing with our pets. Our reactive dog and two cats loved him. The regular updates with pictures were nice and everyone seemed to be getting all the love and attention they needed. We will definitely be going with him again.

Amy was amazing and made us and our dog Frankie feel so comfortable with our first experience using Rover and a pet sitter. She understood that Frankie has separation anxiety and let her come to her. She was patient and gentle and kept us consistently updated with how she was doing with photos as well. She was prompt and responsive. Overall we are soo thankful and grateful for her.

Natalie was absolutely wonderful, and we couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. She took excellent care of our dog and cat over the holidays and treated our home with incredible care and attention. Communication was great, and it was such a relief knowing everything — pets and house — were in such capable hands. We came home to happy pets and a spotless house. I would 100% book Natalie again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a truly exceptional sitter.

Ashley did amazing!! Penny loved her ❤️❤️ They both look VERY happy in the photos! This is the first time I’ve used Rover and I was nervous but it went great! I would leave Penny with Ashley any time!

Nicole stayed with our pup Benson for the weekend and he absolutely loved her! She's amazing - a great communicator who sends lots of pics of their time together. He was so happy when we got home so that tells the story. Would book her every time I need a sitter/walk/check in.

Ilse was so amazing with our reactive (large) dog. She gave very detailed updates and took lots of photos for us. Our dog even had an unexpected health issue before her stay and she administered medication for our dog which she took on rather last minute and I really appreciated it. I am excited to hire her again!!

This past house sitting, Volkan was so flexible and accommodating when our first flight got cancelled and plans had to change last minute. We really appreciate him and love how happy our cat Luna is after spending the week with him!

Barbara was such a delight to have as a dog sitter and house sitter! She took great care of our 10 year old Great Dane and 1 year old Shepard mix while we were out of town. She sent frequent pictures as updates. The pups had a blast with her! Can’t wait to have Barbara over again. Thank you!!
