House Sitting in Somerville

I cannot recommend Tam enough. As a very anxious dog parent, this was the first time I’ve ever left my pup with someone who wasn’t a close friend or family member. This was also the longest my partner and I had been away from him (5 days). Tam put all my anxiety to ease almost immediately. She shared basically a diary of my dog’s day every single day, complete with lots of photos! She spoke to his eating habits, if there were any issues with his stool or stomach, and his mood every day. She was extremely communicative. When I got home, my dog was so peaceful and clearly well-rested, which is saying something considering his separation anxiety! Tam even made us a couple of stickers of photos she had taken of Auggie. Our apartment was spotless and Tam was considerate of our space. I really cannot recommend her enough, and I have so much peace of mind knowing that we have an incredible sitter to rebook for our next trip!

Jamie was an outstanding pet/housesitter who lovingly cared for our anxious poodle mix, rabbit, and lizards for over a week (even extending her stay when we were unable to get home because of a blizzard)! She provided regular updates, reached out when she had questions, and kept the house in perfect condition. We feel very fortunate to have found her and will definitely use her again!

Olivia was awesome! Luna warmed up to her pretty quickly despite being an anxious girly. She was also super accommodating time-wise.

Maddy was a phenomenal dog sitter! She sent us pics everyday to let us know of all the fun our dog was having. She kept the place tidy and brought little treats for our dog. When I needed to leave for my trip earlier than expected, she was able to accommodate the extra time. Excited for the next time Maddy watches our dog!

Alice was great, and left our home clean! She provided regular updates for us, and we felt comfortable leaving our two dogs in her care. I would recommend Alice to anyone looking for a dog sitter!

Sydney followed our instructions quite well and was keen to give extra attention and love to our puppy Miso. She took great care of Miso for almost 5 days and also texted us when she had to leave briefly. When we returned, it was apparent that Miso loved Sydney and appreciated the love she gave her. We are very happy with Sydney and she would definitely be one of our sitters when we need help again.

We’ve used a handful of sitters from rover, but Maddie is by far our favorite! I get seriously bummed when she’s already booked and we have to look elsewhere. I never worry about our two crazy pups when she’s watching them, and I know she cares about them :) nothing but positive things to say about Maddie!! As always, thank you Maddie!!! You’re the best!

Alicia did an amazing job with our dog, Mouse! she was very communicative and kept us up to date on how things were going while we were gone. 10/10 would recommend.

Andrew is great. I have two needy dogs and one cat. They all require some special medication or attention. He stayed at our house while we traveled. Sends updates every day. Super responsive. Easy to communicate and coordinate with. We are so grateful!

My dog and I love Barbara! She often stays with my pup for Christmas while I travel, and it makes me feel so much better that my dog is getting some genuine love while I'm away.

Natalie was super sweet and took amazing care of Filomena while I was at work. She took her for walks and made sure she was fed. I really appreciate it—thank you so much!

Once again, Amy did an amazing job of caring for our cat and keeping us updated on her wellbeing. She did a fantastic job of taking care of our home and left it clean and tidy!

Mandy did a terrific job with Hudson. She was responsive and responsible, and sent tons of great pictures. I had no concerns about Hudson while I was away!

Paul was an attentive and responsive sitter who took great care of our cats and our home. He went the extra mile for them. Would happily rebook in the future.

Emily did a great job. I would absolutely use her services again.
