Dog Boarding in Wakefield

We are incredibly fortunate to have discovered Rebeca on Rover! Our little boy, Henry, is our precious baby, and leaving him while we travel is a decision we take very seriously. Rebeca surpassed our high expectations and standards in every way. She proactively prepared for the stay by gathering all the necessary information about our pet to ensure that all their needs were met. She also opened her lovely home for a meet-and-greet to ensure that it was a good fit for Henry (she has the most amazing yard for the pups to play). Throughout the stay, she communicated with us several times a day, taking the best photos of our pet that we have ever seen. And when it was time for Henry to go home, she even left him with a handwritten note and a goodie bag of treats wrapped in ribbon. Henry was so happy and we could tell he had the best time ever! I highly recommend Rebeca for all your boarding needs. You won’t be disappointed!

Gienna and her sweet dog Maggie recently hosted our own sweet but opinionated cockapoo for a week of freezing winter weather. G. was amazing at keeping us posted as to their activities, sending lots of fun photos and commentary. She quickly got the measure of Millie's personality and took great care of her - even playing "educational" games with her when the weather was not conducive for walks! We felt confident that Millie was being exceptionally well taken care of and, as a result, she will be returning to G and Maggie's house at the end of next week.

Chanel was a great caretaker for our dog! This was our first time using Rover, or having someone besides family watch him, and she put us at ease with updates and pictures. We could tell he was very comfortable with her from the start. We’d gladly go with Chanel again!

Mike was awesome with my 2 havanese. One is still a puppy just one and had a ball playing. My other little guy is 13 and did very well . Would highly recommend. Received pictures of them playing at home and in parks daily. He even gave them baths. I left the. For 10 days and it was a great safe experience. Thank you !

My dog had such a great time with Oana and Oliver and all the pups at their place! They were super communicative and I got photos of him almost every day I was away. I would definitely have him stay with them again!

Hannah is so great with our dog Chente! She sends lots of photos and videos and gives pretty regular updates. We will definitely be reaching out again when we travel next!

Paul and Megan do such a great job taking care of our senior dog, we have gone back to them many times! They are very on top of walks, feeding, and taking care of his special senior needs. We always know he is well taken care of there. He usually has anxiety around sitters, but with Paul and Megan he feels right at home. Strongly recommend.

Jackie and her son did such a wonderful job watching our special needs dog. They showed him a lot of love and were very experienced in caring for him. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Aurora was so great with our pup for a weekend. We got lots of photos and updates, and Hartley got along great with Aurora's dog Madi. Definitely would recommend Aurora!

Fantastic as always. I am a repeat customer and my dog LOVES Yesika. We have a tough time getting him in the car because he loves to play at her place. Can’t recommend Yesika enough to care for and love your pet.

Debbee took very good care of Journee while we were on vacation for a few days. He can be high maintenance with loads of energy. She handled him with excellent care and compassion. She brought him on adventurous walks, and sent us lots of photos of him while he was in her care. I HIGHLY recommend her if you are looking for a dog sitter.

Steve and Helen were so great. They were safe, flexible, and caring. Lexi clearly was in good hands and had a lot of fun in their yard. I could tell when I picked her up that she was very happy with them, and that is priceless to me when I have to be separated from my little best friend. I highly recommend them. Thank you so much.

Carol was great to work with - very responsive to booking inquiries, scheduling a meet & greet, and throughout our dogs stay with her. She has a great setup both inside/outside for the dogs to enjoy and her family embraced both of our pups during their stay. We also really appreciated her attention to one of our dogs who can be a “picky eater”. I would not hesitate to rebook with carol and would recommend her to anyone looking for a trusted dogsitter in our area!
