Dog Boarding in Ashton

Patricia and her family provided a warm and loving home for our Darcy while we went away on vacation. I was nervous since it would be the first time we left Darcy since adopting her, but Patricia put me at ease, sent lots of updates, and Darcy had a great time! I’m so grateful!

If I could give them a review that was higher than five stars, I definitely would. Our almost six-year old Golden Retriever, Zoe, is a very high-anxiety pup who has great difficulty adapting to new situations. During her first stay with Ren and his family just about a year ago, she was skittish and unsettled and I was concerned that her pattern of not adapting would continue. But over the course of the next few months we continued to set up regular overnights for her in their home. The love, patience and kindness they have shown her has created such a warm and welcoming environment that when we now tell Zoe she's going for a ride in the car to see Ren and family, she sits by the garage door patiently and waits for us to load her and her overnight "gear" into the car. We've used a number of other wonderful sitters through Rover in the past but this arrangement with Ren and his family is, by far, the best we have ever had. They often have one or two other furbabies staying with them at the same time and while we initially thought this could present a problem for Zoe, who is used to being an "only child", the exact opposite has been true. Their home is situated on several acres of land and with their fenced-in yard, Zoe is able to run around throughout the day with carefree abandon. She has made some wonderful "fur friends" during her regular stays at their house and always comes back home happy and with what I believe is a smile on her face. This is an amazingly kind and loving family and I can't say enough good things about them. But, more importantly, you can rest assured that if you entrust your fur baby with Ren and his family, your pup will be cared with as much love and attention as he/she receives from you at home!!!

This was a terrific experience from start to finish! Alicia and James treated Reggie like their own dog, sending us frequent photos of him enjoying walks and the comfort of their home. It was clear that he felt completely at home and secure with them. As pet owners, there's nothing more valuable than knowing your dog is getting loving care while you're away - and that's exactly what Alicia and James provided. Their genuine love for animals shone through in every interaction. We couldn't have asked for better sitters!

Theresa took great care of Milli! This was our first time using rover so we were little worried but she sent us updates through the day and made sure he was in good hands. We were able to fully enjoyed our vacation!! thanks!

Cal and Kelly treated our pup like a member of the family. They sent frequent updates and videos, and were easy to reach and very responsive. Highly recommended!

One of the better Rover experiences. The whole family dotes on your dog. Big fenced yard. Sent lots of pictures. My dog came back, well dog tired:) I will be rebooking with Angie again.

When I picked up my dog from boarding, it was very clear she had a fun time and wanted to keep playing with Rachel instead of coming home. We got many pictures of her having fun, Rachel was great at communicating and her dogs were very friendly.

This was my first time using Rover and I feel like I hit the jackpot! Carrie, her family and their dog, all provided a warm and fun environment for my pup while we were away. He was so excited when we dropped him off that I knew I had found the right place for him. I think he is actually sad to be home!! Will definitely reach out to Carrie the next time we need someone to watch him!

Our dog only spent a few hours for one day. Maria & Fernando couldn’t keep him longer because there were two other dogs at the time and our Simba was anxious around them. We really liked them but the relationship was unfortunately short lived?

Rachel watched our dog over the weekend. She was super easy to work with and everyone seemed to have a great time. Lots of pictures and videos, as promised.

Emmy had another great stay at Sophia’s house! She enjoys spending time with Sophia and playing with the other dogs. Emmy always comes back happy and healthy. She always sends the bests pictures each day.

April was amazing! She gave regular updates all weekend and photos and video. My pup loved playing in the yard and snuggling up with her in bed. I definitely will use her in the future any time I need a dog sitter!!!

Jessica’s great! She has a real calming presence for our dog. We’ve already had two bookings with her and have reserved another. During the 2nd booking, my dog steered me to hotel Jessica as soon as we got out of the car!

Laura was amazing with my 2 Havanese. She was a great communicator, sent daily texts of pictures and treated my dogs as family. She allowed them to go around the house freely and play with her kids. She has a nice backyard and leash walks. I’m so happy I found her and will definitely use her again. She definitely deserves a higher than a 5 star but I’m afraid she will get more business and can’t accommodate my next trip. That’s a funny comment! But truly, if your a picky person who is afraid to trust Rover to care for your pets she is your person. I called around and even interviewed her months beforehand. She is awesome!

Buddy had a wonderful time with Stephanie and her family. He joined in easily with her fur babies. We received many fun photos of his adventures. He can’t wait to go back to visit.

Sachin has done an excellent job and Cooper has enjoyed his stay well. He enjoyed the long walks he got during the stay. Cooper seems to have enjoyed the company of his boys as well. Will definitely recommend him and plan to hire him again in the future

Nettie did a great job working with Bella while she was with her for 5 days. She sent me updates and videos and every time I was my pup happy. I will definitely use her services again

We needed a sitter for our cat asap (same day) due to an emergency, and Amber replied right away and made us feel comfortable from the start. She kept us updated regularly and sent pictures. Our chonky boy is very shy but somehow Amber got him to warm up, which only proves even more how well she took care of him! Highly recommend and would book again in a heartbeat!

Wendy did such a great job with my little guy! She was very accommodating & easy to work with. I enjoyed her updates about momo’s stay & he seemed very happy at her place. She is fabulous & I would definitely use her again.
