Dog Boarding in Charlestown

Our dogs are so happy when we drop them off and when we pick them up! Karen does an amazing job of caring for our dogs as if they were her own. We are so lucky to have her.

Great experience! Our dog Molly was very nervous and anxious being away from her family for the first time ever, and Lisa was great! She gave us regular updates and photos, and helped her (and us) relax and enjoy our mini-vacation. Highly recommended and we'll certainly be re-booking!

Geosselyn is the best! Sent me pictures and videos and best of all, my dogs had plenty of room to run around in her very large and fenced in yard. She cleaned their bowls and cage so pick up was a breeze. I will definitely use her services again and I can't recommend her enough.

Tabby was very flexible with change requested at last minute. She responded very well and quickly for any questions I had. Definitely going to rebook again.

I can’t say enough positive things about Susan. She cared for our 17 year old “pup” for a week and he came home smiling! She sent adorable pictures throughout the week and he even got a ride in her dog stroller because his walk ended up being a little longer than usual as well as “run” in her fenced-in backyard. There is no hesitation in Highly recommending Susan to care for your pet. Thank you again, Susan. This is my first time using Rover and it’s been nothing but total satisfaction!

Jess was great! Very communicative and provided lots of photo updates. She was able to provide medication tablets as scheduled. I'd say he enjoyed his stay and felt at home. When we picked him up, he stood & looked back at Jess as if he wanted her to come along, which says everything about how happy and comfortable he was under her care.

Justin and Stephanie were terrific! They took care of Teddy and you can tell he enjoyed staying with them. Will definitely ask them to watch Teddy again.

We boarded with Wendy for a long, four-week vacation, and could not have been happier with the care and attention given to our pup. Great rural location with plenty of room to walk and play. Very friendly and responsible hosts. Excellent communication. Two small, gentle and playful house dogs who got along great with our dog. If you have a friendly, gentle dog and are looking for safe, responsible care, then look no further - Wendy and her partner are the best.

Sharon gave our pets special care for their unique needs. She cared for our busy 9 month old puppy and also 10 year old senior. They had a fun time!

If you’re thinking about booking with Jessica: do it. I was out of the country for over two weeks and she did such an amazing job watching my pup. She sent pictures and videos of how he was doing often and she was extremely kind and professional. She went above and beyond to make sure that my dog was happy during the stay and also to give me a piece of mind. I would 100% book with her again and she has been the best watcher I have used on Rover by far! Just as a sidenote, if any of you are worried, her dogs are extremely well trained and kind. You can tell that she has put a lot of work into training them their whole lives so they are very well-behaved. Other dogs were a concern for me as well, but after seeing how well that she has trained hers that was not an issue during my stay.

Brady had a great weekend with Nicole and Michael and must have gotten in a lot of playtime. We brought him home and he slept all afternoon. He had a great time.

Awesome sitters, very responsive and caring. Jacob and Megan are such a beautiful family that makes you and your fur baby feel comfortable in their care.

Pearl was very kind and clean. Our dog did well with her and you can tell she really cares for the dogs she watch. We plan to book with her again for any future travels.

Jessica was wonderful with my dog! She was so patient and understanding with him. I felt at ease knowing he was in such good hands. I could tell he was comfortable and well cared for. Highly recommend!

Candice was just wonderful with our did Sasha. She sent updates and contacted us when she had a question. We will definitely be using her services again .

Yvonne was great with my YorkChon Kali! She knew that it was only Kali’s 2nd time being away from home for an extended period of time and regularly sent me updates & pics throughout the day. As my husband and I were a bit anxious about not being able to bring Kali with us on our trip, the regular updates were very reassuring. She was also very kind, responsive and easy to communicate with. Kali was well cared for and I highly recommend Yvonne & Joseph! They will love on your fur baby 🐶 as if he/she was their own.

He is very conscious of paw-parent concerns, and try to give you space on your vacation while reassuring you that everything is going well with the pups.

Alexandra (and family) were wonderful! I hope to have them watch our fur babe again soon. He was happy and tired when we picked him up, and a little reluctant to leave ?. Alexandra sent me updates and pictures, she was quick to respond to my questions during the booking process. I have zero complaints or concerns with our pups first stay, and would recommend Alexandra to care for any friends or family that need a place to stay!

Barbra was great with my neurotic rescue! They have a lovely, huge, fenced yard so he could wander and sniff. She was very responsive, and our communication was excellent. I got lots of pictures and updates while I was away. Highly recommend Barbra!

Milo absolutely loved staying the night at Rackeem’s! When I get him back after at a stay at his usual boarding place, he is exhausted. When I picked him up from Rackeem’s, he was so energized and happy. I also appreciated the photo update Rackeem sent me so I knew Milo was okay during his stay. I highly recommend Rackeem’s!
