Dog Boarding in Darnestown

Camp Sophia is so much fun! We got pics every day of our dog’s activities and text updates. Scruffy met new friends and even though she can’t speak, I think she had a great time. I felt very comfortable with her at Sophia’s and look forward to returning again.

As always Wendy is the best! Total professional. Reliable and safe. Sends pics/videos several times a day and always available for a quick check in etc. we have been her client for over 3 years and have had our dog stay with Wendy and other dog friends for up to 2.5 weeks stretches and he loves every moment! Comes back happy to see us, super healthy, well taken care of with zero signs of separation anxiety or depression. We are Wendy Clients forever.

Karen looked after my dog for almost 2 weeks and was great in keeping me updated with almost daily photos of him. He had a yard to play in and seemed to have a great time! Thanks, Karen!

Dawn is the ultimate doggy caretaker! Our Vizsla, Rico, is a ball of energy, and he came back happy and tuckered out after a week at Dawn’s. We could follow his adventures through great pictures and updates!

Ivan was so kind and helpful. I had mixed up my reservation date by a week and didn’t realize it until the morning I actually needed to drop off my dog. Ivan didn’t hesitate to help! He welcomed my last minute request and was able to take my dog just 30 minutes after I reached out. My dog had a wonderful time with Ivan, his family, and their dog, especially during the long walks in the forest. I truly recommend Ivan if you’re looking for someone caring and responsible to watch your dog.

Tracey and family were wonderful hosts. My dog Yoshi was well taken care of and pampered by her family. I received daily updates and pictures. I also couldn’t make it back in time for my desired pickup time but the family was very flexible and accommodated. I’ll definitely go back Tracey again in the future.

5 star service and boarding!!! I was nervous trying a new dog sitter after mine moved away (5 years with the same in house sitter). I interviewed so many potentials and Ren stood out by far. He almost seemed too good to be true (very communicative husband and wife team, beautiful large fenced in backyard, plenty of experience and countless 5 star reviews). I am extremely picky and have a dog turning 13 who can be very stubborn. From the greeting, to the way Enzo took to their family right away, the countless pics/updates and how at home Enzo looked when I went to pick him up, I couldn’t be happier choosing Ren and his family! 5 stars all the way. I will definitely be a repeat client.

Evvery is AMAZING! Everything you’d want from a boarding! She sent me updates the entire time I was on vacation and gave Gunner his medicines. She’s very friendly & accommodating and my dog looked very comfortable and happy. I’ll be booking with her again the next time I need to leave my dog. Thank you!!!

Tatyana was very nice and took care of my dog Ghost so well. She cared for him as if he was her own dog. Even when he won’t eat she boil chicken for him. That was so nice of her. She cared and showed so much love for Ghost! Thank you so much for taking care of my dog so well.

Our dog LOVED her three-night stay with Wenyan and Purple (their Golden Retriever) at their home. Wenyan sent tons of updates, pictures, and videos so we knew our dog was having the best time and was in good hands. We wouldn't hesitate to have Wenyan take care of our dog again.

This was our second time boarding our dog with Pam, and once again everything went smoothly. She’s reliable, kind, and keeps us updated with frequent photos and videos. It’s reassuring to see how relaxed and happy our dog is while staying with her. Our dog clearly enjoys being there, and we always feel confident knowing she is in good hands. Gail was fantastic. She gave our dog lots of love and took such great care of her while we were gone. She even walked her regularly in the rain! She sent lots of updates, videos, and photos, which was so nice. You can tell Gail loves dogs, and you can be confident she will treat your dog as if it were her own. Rong was wonderful with my very anxious 5 year old dog. She agreed to a quick meet n greet a few days before the scheduled overnight stay, which helped Stevie be more relaxed when we dropped her off. Rong sent lots of pictures and updates and was great with communication. My normally scared dog looked so comfortable and happy sitting in Rongs lap and walking with her new dog friend. I would definitely book Rong again.

Pluto had a great time with Leah and her family. Leah took great care of Pluto and kept us informed with daily pics and videos. I would definitely rebook her in future.

Jill and her husband Sean took great care of my dog, Roxy, while I was moving. We did a meet and greet beforehand and she sent pictures and updates to let me know how Roxy was doing. I would highly recommend!

Stephanie was a great dog sitter for our pup for a weekend away! She gave frequent updates and sent pictures, followed our instructions to a tee, and checked in when she had questions about his needs while in her care.
