Dog Boarding in Funkstown

Sarah did a terrific job -- provided boarding for my dog for a few weeks as I recovered from surgery. She sent daily messages and pictures about their activities. It was so reassuring for me to know that Maggie was being cared for in a loving home by a caring family -- SO much better than a kennel (particularly important for dogs that are nervous or suffer from separation anxiety)! Sarah couldn't have done a better job. She both helped Maggie adjust to her temporary home, and provided me with peace of mind during my recovery.

Your furbabies will be so well looked after here, we can't recommend Jeannie and Robert highly enough. They care for your pets like they're their own, their facilities are great, and they will keep in constant touch with you whilst you're away. One of our pups had an issue during her stay and I was so thankful for the calm, practical approach - even though we were 3000 miles away I felt our babies were in good hands! We boarded out dogs here for a week and will do so again next vacation, if they have space. Thanks so much to you all. This was a real family effort and it was heartwarming to see how much they missed you all when they got home! The dogs got a vacation too!

I couldn't be happier with the care my dog received! From the moment we arrived, it was clear my pup felt right at home. The sitter was warm, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure my dog was comfortable and happy. My dog especially loved playing in the yard—it’s spacious, safe, and perfect for zoomies! I got regular updates and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind. I’ll definitely be booking again. Highly recommend!

Emily is FANTASTIC! Ozzy was I heaven. She is a phenomenal sitter. I can’t imagine trusting my pup with anyone else. He had the time of his life running around and playing to his heart’s content then cuddling up on the couch for snuggles.

Renee (her husband and dogs) took amazing care of our high energy, needy dog for a long weekend. She got us out of a last minute bind when another boarder didn’t work out the day before we left. Great communicator, sends pics and updates of our dog each day. Our dog absolutely loves her dogs and staying at their house. Will definitely use her services again and recommend to anyone in need of care for your pets!

Coco spent 2 days away from home for the first time with Jaclyn, she made our trip easier by sending us updates and pictures throughout her stay. We also got a gift and some treats for coco, it was the cutest thing ever !!💕 We will be back. Thank you, Jaclyn💕

Min and Matthew were so great with my dog! He was loved on, walked, played with, and cared for in every way. They sent me notes and pictures while he was there making me feel reassured that he was doing fine while we were apart. They are kind, caring people who were a great match for my dog.

This was the perfect situation for my anxious 10 pound rescue. Adrianne and her husband were so patient with Maddie and understanding of her fears. It was the first time leaving her due to her anxiety but knew it would be best. I am truly so fortunate that I found this couple. The yard was perfect and they had a small dog for Maddie to connect with! I highly recommend them to care for your fur baby!

Kristine is always wonderful with my dog Louie! This is the second time she has watched him and we’ve had a great experience. He always comes back happy. She sends lots of photos and videos. Would definitely recommend and we will be using her in the future!

Hugo was so well cared for while staying with Ruth. He seemed at ease immediately and seemed to have a wonderful time while staying there. We received daily updates and photos, more than we even expected. The communication was excellent throughout, and it made us so at ease and able to focus on our trip, knowing that Hugo was being cared for and that if there were any important updates we would be promptly informed. Hugo had an excellent time for the entirety of his stay and we loved seeing him hanging out with Tazzz and generally being cozy and comfortable. Hugo was treated with care, love and attention and really seemed to like being there. When I picked up Hugo, he was excited to see me (and I got a nice video of the experience!) and then he was so calm and happy on the drive home. At home he seemed relaxed and genuinely refreshed from his stay, which really reinforced our feeling that he was in good hands. We would definitely have Hugo stay with Ruth again. Charity was great to work with and was incredibly flexible given that we were driving in bad weather - I never worried about the dog in case we couldn't make it in time. Charity sent us pictures of our pup and we knew he was well cared for during his stay.

Excellent experience. Our two dogs were well cared for, happy, and relaxed when we got back, which says everything. We really appreciated the updates and photos—they gave us peace of mind. They clearly love dogs. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter!

Chris, Carla, and Rob are excellent! We’re so thrilled to hear about their new house! Although it’s a bit of a drive, we don’t mind because we trust them entirely with our little boy. We know he’s in the safest hands, and it’s like he has a second home there! Thanks to them for always taking such fantastic care of our little snuggle bug. We love you guys so much, and so does our snuggle boy! I can't wait for all the fun memories ahead!
