House Sitting in Mays Chapel

This was our first time using a house sitter instead of boarding our dog, and I don’t think we’ll be boarding her again! Amy was fantastic, she updated us regularly and sent photos each time. Our dog is a bit nervous around new people, but she warmed up to Amy quickly and Amy was so patient with her at our meet and greet. She also left the house clean when we returned! We definitely hope that we can continue to ask Amy to house sit for us in the future.

Karenna was amazing and helpful house sitting and watching my pup Weston. I asked a lot of her and she was extremely patient and went above and beyond to ensure that I got to my flight on time. Weston started having back pain the day of my trip and I was lucky to have someone like Karenna who was willing to help out. You could tell that she treats Weston like she would treat her own animals and I’m grateful to have booked her. It’s always worrisome when booking online with someone you haven’t met but she kept me at ease and was able to answer all my questions and keep me up to date about everything. I will definitely be rebooking with her for my next trip. She is amazing!

Shivani was outstanding!! Her communications were very prompt throughout and she was very professional and thorough in making sure our older cattle dog received the care and attention he needed over six days. She kept us updated daily which included some really top notch pics and video (wish we could get him to cooperate so well!). She was also very respectful of our space and addressed all of the necessary house details along the way. We came home to a clean house and very happy dog. We would definitely book her again!

Amanda was great! She stayed overnight in our home for several days with our dog and cat which provided such peace of mind for us while we travelled. She provided great care and companionship for them and made sure they had everything they needed. She even cleaned up before we got home which was lovely. We would definitely work with Amanda again!!

Thanks to Lillian for watching our two dogs and cat for the majority of the week. She was caring and kind when our puppy has an upset stomach and communicated about the issue.

Elizabeth is a wonderful caregiver. She is truly interested in the details. Our pets were loved and taken really good care of, because Elizabeth treated them like they were her own. We were really worried about being so far away from our pets, but Elizabeth's kind nature, and common sense demeanor allowed us to enjoy our time away. She was very good with taking pics and letting us how Iggy & Nugget were as well as following specific instructions and administering meds for our cat who is currently being treated for cancer (chemo). ;( We would be happy to hire Elizabeth again!!! Thanks to Rover and Elizabeth for a successful first trip away from my grand pet, Nugget, and our puppy, Iggy!

She was very sweet and took really good care of my girls! I appreciated the communication and the picture she shared! Highly recommend her as a pet sitter!!

Garrett was an absolute life saver. We contacted him on super short notice to watch our girl Simcoe for a long weekend. He was very communicative and sent lots of pics and notes. He took wonderful care of our girl and our home. I hope he can dog/house sit for us again!

Jacqueline did an amazing job! My dog is very scared and has separation anxiety. I was really nervous but even with the meet and greet I was at ease. Jacqueline was able to stay at our house in the middle of the week no problem. She sent videos and photos to me which i loved to see. I was shocked how quickly nacho warmed up to her but was so thrilled while i was away to know he was safe and in good hands. I would highly recommend her as a dog sitter and we plan to use her for our up coming trips!!!

Our first long distance vacation was made possible, only by knowing our pups were in good hands. Zana was very flexible leading up to our trip, took the time to get to know our pups ahead of time and kept us in touch with them with regular updates. Will certainly be using Zana again in the future!

Cheryl stayed with my 18 1/2 year old dachshund for four nights. He’s a wonderful guy, who has developed cataracts, hearing loss, arthritis and now kidney disease. Feeding him has been hit-or-miss, since the kidney disease seems to affect what they find palatable. Cheryl was 100%, keeping him well fed and sending regular photo updates. My only hesitation in giving her five stars is that I don’t want to have to compete with too many other people for her services!

Rainey was a great pet sitter. She sent updates and probably the cutest photo ever taken of one of our dogs during our time away. She was very responsive and did a great job.

Peter was wonderful - I needed a sitter in a pinch and he responded quickly. He left my place tidy, sent me pictures and updates, and was timely and responsible in all our interactions. I was able to have a great weekend because I knew Samson was in good hands!

Maddy was great. She actually stayed for the weekend with my dogs and took very good care of them. She was easy to communicate with and responded quickly if I had a question. She really seemed to connect with my dogs and understood their personalities and their tricks for more food :) When we got home the dogs were happy. We would invite Maddy back anytime.

Mina did an excellent job caring for our 4 year old German Shepherd and 10 year old cat despite the two not mixing well, and our dog having separation anxiety when we’re away as well as being a picky eater. She kept us updated with pictures and message updates. We’re very happy with her service and would love to work with her again!
