Dog Boarding in Poolesville

We have used Ren and his family several times now to watch our pup. He provides constant updates and photos throughout the day. Our dog looks like she is having the best time during all the stays with Ren. When it comes to unpredictable travel delays Ren is very understanding and provides the best care to our dog. I would highly recommend this sitter, and will continue to book with him.

Phil & Amanda were great! Our dog, Milo, loved spending time with them. Milo got so much attention! He went on many walks! This is the 1st time leaving Milo with Phil and Amanda. We had a great experience! We will be booking again with Phil & Amanda in the future!

Sophia took great care of our dog Emmy while we were on vacation for a week. Emmy enjoyed the walks and play time with Sophia. Sophia always responds right away to any questions and provides multiple pictures each day. Emmy had a lot of fun with the other dogs and is always happy to see Sophia.

Helen and Homer are so wonderful with little Angus man. He has special feeding protocol and they are so accommodating. He has really taken to their kind loving nature. It really allows you to have a restful vacation.

Mindy is awesome! Our dog is very shy and typically is very wary of people but she took to Mindy so well. She was attached at the hip to her ( so much that she wanted to stay! 😂) Mindy gave lots of stays updates with videos so we were at ease knowing our dog was in good hands, she even sent us home with a cute little goodie bag with a paw print painting of our dog and a toy. Totally recommend. Will be using Mindy again!

Meghan took fabulous care of Javi. He is older and has some health issues so we always worry about leaving him. She gave him his meds and treated him with extra care. We got lots of pictures daily. I would highly recommend Meghan. We will definitely use her again.

Magic. Gold. Sparkles. All the best things. I adopted Petunia from a shelter when she was 4 months old and was SO afraid to leave her that I canceled previously scheduled vacations. When I started chatting with Cynthia via Rover, I started feeling a lot more comfortable letting Petunia vacay at her house. Petunia is now 11 months old, and we decided to go for it. From the second we dropped Petunia off to the second we picked her up, Petunia was at ease with Cynthia. We were gone for 8 nights and while we missed Petunia, we never worried about her safety or if she was having a great time. We received pictures and videos regularly and had a constant stream of communication. Even though we were far away, we never felt far away. My only worry now is that our day to day life is going to be much less fun and exciting, with less friends for Petunia to play with, now that she’s spent a week-long vacay making new friends and playing all day. We are so grateful that we found Cynthia and look forward to taking Petunia to Cynthia’s house for all future occasions. Thank you, Cynthia 💜. We appreciate you!

Karen was extremely kind and gentle with Gigi, she followed all instructions well and kept me well informed and sent a lot of pictures and updates throughout the day. Gigi got along with her chihuahua and cats, which was great. We are usually anxious to leave her alone because she has been attacked by bigger dogs before and is a little bit reactive and shy. She had no issues with Karen and her kiddo, who was equally sweet and gentle. We could tell they were both sad the day we picked up Gigi and she was sad as well! I will definitely use Karen again I felt at ease with her watching my dog.

Lina could not have done a better, more dedicated job of caring for my 12 lb, 8.5 year old emotional support dog. She went way beyond what I could have hoped for in a first-time sitter. She was diligent about giving my dog her medicines both morning and night, she fed her 4 times per day with snacks in between for my baby who thinks she is about to starve at all times. She made sure she went outdoors 3-4 times every day. She played games with her, and even slept with her at night as I had requested. She sent me way more pictures than I wanted just about every day, and answered every question about her care I had. I was gone for 11 days and had been very concerned about leaving her since she had only met her for a one hour meet-and-greet. Lina does take care of multiple dogs when she can, and my dog does not like other dogs because they take attention away from her. But despite the other dogs, she definitely got all the care and attention -- if not more -- than she would have gotten at home. Thank you, Lina, for all you did to make my little one feel special and loved.

Jennifer did a wonderful job taking care of Aspen. I could tell even during the set up that she was going to be a great sitter because she communicated well and was on top of things and flexible. During the stay, she updated us multiple times daily with pictures and videos, so we knew our pup was well cared for. Will be a repeat customer here very soon. Great job Jen!

From my very first interaction with her, I could tell Naomi was very compassionate, outgoing and genuinely loves what she does. Upon meeting her, that was even further confirmed. Naomi was super responsive to my request and accommodated a late drop-off without any issues. We hadn’t boarded in a while, and I really missed my Muggsy while away. Naomi made sure to keep me posted during his stay with regular check-ins, that included pictures, and videos. I could tell he was having a great time because they were always playing or lounging and peacefully contented, which helped to put my mind at ease. My pup returned home happy, so I know he was well cared for. I asked if he had fun with Naomi and he got so excited and just smiled! I highly recommend Naomi and won’t hesitate to use her again for future trips.

Kelly was absolutely wonderful!! She is so kind and warm and made me feel at ease leaving Bella in her hands. She continued to send updates and sweet photos of her kiddos snuggling with Bella and let me know she was very welcomed even though she had an accident in the house after drop off. Recommended highly!!!

Gail provided top-notch care for Zara, going above and beyond when we needed to unexpectedly extend our trip. They purchased additional food and kept us updated with delightful pictures and videos. We boarded our two dogs with Julianne and it was a wonderful experience! We would absolutely board again. Julianne is consistent with communication, pricing is fair, she provided updates throughout the stay of our pups and her family overall seemed very dedicated to the care of our pups. If you need a trusty and reliable sitter for your fur babies, this is a great option.

Our lab always comes home sleepy and happy after staying at Cindy’s house! We trust her wholly with our dog and he’s been so happy there that she’s become our go-to when we have to go out of town with it him. He gets lots of walks and cuddles there and we get tons of pictures to keep us updated. Cindy is the best!
