House Sitting in Belfast

Glendon did a pet sit in our home for our two small dogs and one cat, and he was great. It's clear he's an animal lover, and also very professional. He was very thorough in preparing for the stay, and was careful to learn about and accommodate the needs and routine of our pets. He's super communicative, giving many updates, and sending videos and pics, just the right amount for us to be sure the fur kids were doing well. Just before we were scheduled to leave, tropical storm Lee threw a monkey wrench in our plans - a tree fell and wires were down blocking our driveway - no electricity! Glendon was really helpful, brainstorming alternatives in case the house-sit couldn't work out. Fortunately the power company got in at the 11th hour and fixed things, allowing everything to go as originally planned. But it's awesome that he was willing to be flexible and find a way to make it work. Highly recommended.

Our doggies and house were in great shape when we returned from a week away. Sully and Gronky were well cared for and we loved that Carla works from home and could spend her days with them at home. They are big babies and love having the company! Will happily book again with her!

Laura stayed with my 2 1/2 year old rescue labbish mutt for five days this past week. It was GREAT for me because she sent me photos at least twice a day of what he was doing--playing in the backyard, on leash walking, snuggling. House was pristine when I returned and Coal looked only marginally happy to see me... :) Let me just add that I had told Laura that Coal had recently had issues with one other dog and she was not at all concerned about it--just knew that he needed to warm up to her as a rescue dog, and that he needed to be on a long leash in the woods. Some sitters probably wouldn't even touch a possible "problem" dog but Laura did. She's great!

Sydney was great! Our dog clearly enjoyed her company. She sent a lot of pictures/updates and did not hold back with questions (our dog has some quirks/a big personality). Thank you so much!!

Jazlynne was great! She asked questions about the pups to make sure she knew their routines and quirks. She sent lots of photos and seemed to really care for our pups. The house was clean and pups were happy when we got home. Would definitely use her again!

Ash took great care of my dog Lola over christmas! She was super communicative and stayed at my place with Loma over the holiday. When I came home Loma was so happy and calm and clearly had received great care. I would definitely use Ash again!!

We’ve used Melissa a couple times prior. She continues to be fantastic! Our boys love her. We were able to get away for a few days with piece of mind that house and boys were well cared for. It’s evident that they were loved while keeping to their routine. We came home to two very happy dogs. Thanks again!

Alison was a wonderful pet sitter. She daily kept me informed and provided photos. My home was kept in wonderful condition . My only hesitation in recommending is she’ll become so popular she won’t be available when I need her next!! I highly recommend Alison as a pet/house sitter. I will be using her in the future . Addison took such good care of our babies while we were out of town for almost two weeks. She sent pictures and kept us updated on everything. We will definitely use her again!!

Bohni did a great job with my two Great Pyrenees , who are not the easiest of dogs to work with. No problems at all!

When it came time for us to leave our sweet little Davey boy at home for nearly two weeks to visit family out of state we turned to Rover and found Jill. We did a meet and greet prior to leaving and instantly my apprehension was put aside. Jill has the magic touch, our little guy gravitated to her right away and she nearly out him to sleep standing up with some masterful ear rubs. Almost immediately upon leaving we were receiving picture and video updates of one very happy dog. Hill was so communicative and clearly loves the dogs in her care. They went for long walks and she stayed at our house so that Dave could be in his own environment. She kept the updates coming the whole time we were away and it did our hearts so much good to see he was having a fun, totally relaxed, time with his newest pal in his own house. We of course missed him terribly but Jill did all the right things to allay the nerves or even the most neurotic new dog parents. We returned to a happy, healthy, much loved little dog, who looked like he had a good brushing recently and the house was immaculate. A kind note on the counter and a wagging tail- what more could one ask for from a dog sitter. Jill is a genuine , kind , responsible and communicative person who obviously loves dogs with her whole heart and understands how much they mean to their owners. Jill will be out first choice in dog sitters from here on out and we truly cannot recommend her enough. If you want to go away and feel like your dog is in the best possible loving care- Jill is the dog sitter for you !

Ashley is great! She took care of our girl Hurley at our home for 3 days. Great communication, lots of pictures, and even took her on a beach adventure. Hurley was well cared for! We are already planning to have her come stay again very soon. Highly recommend!!
