House Sitting in Islesboro

Glendon is a gift! He stayed at my home with my two girls, Lucy and Olivia, for 10 days while I was away and I felt reassured the entire time. Glendon is responsive, honest, transparent, responsible, and a stellar communicator. He has an excellent sense of humor and calm about him and my girls adore him as do I. He took thoughtful care with my home as well - above and beyond. Loved that he send photos and videos of my girls while I was away. I'm so appreciative of Glendon and will 100% hire him again to care for my home and animals. He's a lovely human. Thank you!

What a wonderful sitter! Carla is tuned in to all our pets and cares for them as if they were her own. She is conscientious and thoughtful. We returned after a two week trip to a spotless home and happy "kids".

Laura really “got” Birdie. I knew Birdie was in good hands for her stay. Communicative and helpful, I will definitely be reaching out Laura again!

Jazlynne was great! She asked questions about the pups to make sure she knew their routines and quirks. She sent lots of photos and seemed to really care for our pups. The house was clean and pups were happy when we got home. Would definitely use her again!

We were so nervous about leaving our sweet boy in a hotel room while we attended a wedding. He’s just a puppy. Melissa was amazing! From the first minute that she met Dino we knew she was perfect! She has a wonderful temperament; perfect for our silly boy. She took him to a dog park (with our permission) and watched him as if he was her own. We got lots of photos which made us perfectly at ease. We were able to enjoy our wedding. Thank you Melissa for giving our baby a really great day!

Ash took great care of my dog Lola over christmas! She was super communicative and stayed at my place with Loma over the holiday. When I came home Loma was so happy and calm and clearly had received great care. I would definitely use Ash again!!

Alison was terrific with keeping in touch while we were gone and she kept our Daisy happy and safe. It’s hard to leave your fur baby behind but good to know that you have someone you can trust taking care of things while you are away!!

Bohni did a great job with my two Great Pyrenees , who are not the easiest of dogs to work with. No problems at all!

Ashley is great! She took care of our girl Hurley at our home for 3 days. Great communication, lots of pictures, and even took her on a beach adventure. Hurley was well cared for! We are already planning to have her come stay again very soon. Highly recommend!!

Tiana was very personable. The dogs loved her. She left our house just the way she found it or maybe even better she took our big dog Baxter for a nice walk we could not be more pleased.

When it came time for us to leave our sweet little Davey boy at home for nearly two weeks to visit family out of state we turned to Rover and found Jill. We did a meet and greet prior to leaving and instantly my apprehension was put aside. Jill has the magic touch, our little guy gravitated to her right away and she nearly out him to sleep standing up with some masterful ear rubs. Almost immediately upon leaving we were receiving picture and video updates of one very happy dog. Hill was so communicative and clearly loves the dogs in her care. They went for long walks and she stayed at our house so that Dave could be in his own environment. She kept the updates coming the whole time we were away and it did our hearts so much good to see he was having a fun, totally relaxed, time with his newest pal in his own house. We of course missed him terribly but Jill did all the right things to allay the nerves or even the most neurotic new dog parents. We returned to a happy, healthy, much loved little dog, who looked like he had a good brushing recently and the house was immaculate. A kind note on the counter and a wagging tail- what more could one ask for from a dog sitter. Jill is a genuine , kind , responsible and communicative person who obviously loves dogs with her whole heart and understands how much they mean to their owners. Jill will be out first choice in dog sitters from here on out and we truly cannot recommend her enough. If you want to go away and feel like your dog is in the best possible loving care- Jill is the dog sitter for you !

What a relief coming home to a well-cared for house and very happy pets! Absolutely will rebook!
