House Sitting in Lincolnville Center

Glendon did a pet sit in our home for our two small dogs and one cat, and he was great. It's clear he's an animal lover, and also very professional. He was very thorough in preparing for the stay, and was careful to learn about and accommodate the needs and routine of our pets. He's super communicative, giving many updates, and sending videos and pics, just the right amount for us to be sure the fur kids were doing well. Just before we were scheduled to leave, tropical storm Lee threw a monkey wrench in our plans - a tree fell and wires were down blocking our driveway - no electricity! Glendon was really helpful, brainstorming alternatives in case the house-sit couldn't work out. Fortunately the power company got in at the 11th hour and fixed things, allowing everything to go as originally planned. But it's awesome that he was willing to be flexible and find a way to make it work. Highly recommended.

Carla was great with our two dogs and very patient with their different personalities. She kept me updated with everything and I think our kitchen was cleaner than when we'd left it. The pups are happy and we will definitely work with Carla again!

Laura is such an animal lover! She and Desmond bonded immediately. She is very responsive and texted us every day with updates and pictures. We felt so comfortable knowing she was at our house watching our dog. We will book her again FOR SURE!

It is such a relief when you can trust someone with your pup and doing it in your home! Melissa did a great job. Even went above and beyond to take care of Remi. I will be asking her again to stay with Remi!!

Alison was a wonderful pet sitter. She daily kept me informed and provided photos. My home was kept in wonderful condition . My only hesitation in recommending is she’ll become so popular she won’t be available when I need her next!! I highly recommend Alison as a pet/house sitter. I will be using her in the future . I’m overwhelmingly pleased with the care Atlas took with our dogs while we were away. She responds quickly to messages and is proactive in sharing information and asking questions. And she was pleasant to interact with! I would ask her to watch our dogs again in a heartbeat!

Andrea is awesome!! She has been walking my pup since I moved here in May and has always been very reliable and communicative, sending many photos and videos. I did boarding with her as well My dog always seems happy and comfortable during their time together!

When it came time for us to leave our sweet little Davey boy at home for nearly two weeks to visit family out of state we turned to Rover and found Jill. We did a meet and greet prior to leaving and instantly my apprehension was put aside. Jill has the magic touch, our little guy gravitated to her right away and she nearly out him to sleep standing up with some masterful ear rubs. Almost immediately upon leaving we were receiving picture and video updates of one very happy dog. Hill was so communicative and clearly loves the dogs in her care. They went for long walks and she stayed at our house so that Dave could be in his own environment. She kept the updates coming the whole time we were away and it did our hearts so much good to see he was having a fun, totally relaxed, time with his newest pal in his own house. We of course missed him terribly but Jill did all the right things to allay the nerves or even the most neurotic new dog parents. We returned to a happy, healthy, much loved little dog, who looked like he had a good brushing recently and the house was immaculate. A kind note on the counter and a wagging tail- what more could one ask for from a dog sitter. Jill is a genuine , kind , responsible and communicative person who obviously loves dogs with her whole heart and understands how much they mean to their owners. Jill will be out first choice in dog sitters from here on out and we truly cannot recommend her enough. If you want to go away and feel like your dog is in the best possible loving care- Jill is the dog sitter for you !

Annabelle is an excellent communicator and a very nice person. She took great care of my dog and house.

Bohni did a great job with my two Great Pyrenees , who are not the easiest of dogs to work with. No problems at all!

What a relief coming home to a well-cared for house and very happy pets! Absolutely will rebook!

If you read what Amanda wrote about herself, you can absolutely believe every word. She took care of our two dogs and gave them such loving care and was very attentive to their needs. She is an excellent communicator and is responsible, experienced, and conscientious in all aspects of her job. Plus she is a delightful person to know. We highly recommend her and look forward to having her sit for us again.
