Dog Boarding in Clarklake

Rodney ROCKS!!! From initial contact, through the meet and greet, and the 9 days that my fur baby spent with him, he was WONDERFUL! Rodney puts the "person" in "dog person"! He can read dogs very well and is attentive to their behavior cures and responds accordingly. His own furbabies and his clients are part of his family and are loved and cared for like children. His house and yard are set up to be COMPLETELY dog friendly. Our dog Savana is a very active 65 pound mixed breed puppy (18months) who needs to be around her people. Rodney made sure she got lots of exercise and playtime and cuddles while she was there and sent pictures and updates daily. I was able to enjoy my vacation knowing that Savana was loved, having fun, and being well cared for by Rodney. We will definitely book with Rodney again!

April was a great choice for a pet sitter for my 4-month old black German Shepherd, Misha. I had booked a flight for a week in AZ months ago, before I got Misha as a 9-week old puppy. She had just been potty trained, but it was still new for her, and being that she still had some puppy "quirks," I was anxious and nervous about leaving her for a week with a sitter. Fortunately, I found April! She takes her pet-sitting business seriously and I didn't need to worry about Misha at all. April has a dog and a cat of her own, and a small son, who also welcomed Misha into their home and treated her like family! I liked that April understands and is willing to handle the extra demands that a puppy requires. I was also looking for a sitter who has a fenced in yard so that Misha could roam and get some exercise. Boy, did she ever get her exercise! She and Rufus, April's Labradoodle, became fast friends and played outside in the yard (and in the snow!) several times a day. April's little boy also joined in the fun and is very good with animals! Misha came back from April's happy and pooped out! In 10 days, I am going out of town again for another week. I rebooked with April and have no worries or anxiety about leaving my little girl with April and her family. What a relief to know Misha is in good hands while I'm away!

I’ve booked with Jennifer 2 times so far & have had nothing but a positive experience. Jelly has always come home tired which is normal anytime she leaves doggy daycare. Jennifer has been able to accommodate me with last minute bookings & I couldn’t appreciate it more! Thank you.

Caroline always sends me videos of my boys I feel they are so loved and well taken care of. I can truly see in the videos how much they are enjoying themselves.

LeAnn was so very good with our rescue dog, Flora, who can be fearful and anxious in new situations. Her experience with animals was evident as she spent time introducing Flora to her two dogs. Flora was treated like a member of the family. We were able to relax and stop worrying. Have already booked another stay. We highly recommend LeAnn.

Sarah made this experience so much easier than I expected. We had a family trip and needed to board our husky for a few days. I saw Sarah's profile and immediately shared it with my husband. We both felt completely comfortable leaving Isla with Sarah. She updated me, answered all questions we had, and dealt with my separation anxiety! Isla was so tired when we brought her home. We were able to have fun on our trip without worrying about Isla. Sarah sent pictures of my fur baby playing with hers. You can definitely tell that she loves animals and will treat your baby as her own.

We were looking for a special place for our 14-year-old Bailey who is deaf, doesn’t see well, and has separation anxiety. We were especially concerned because we would be gone for 13 days and had never left him that long. We could not have asked for better caregivers than Skip and his wife Mary. We met with them in advance so they could meet Bailey and be aware of what his needs were. They were very thorough taking notes as we spoke. They only accept one dog at a time and did not have children in their beautiful home, another plus for us. We received many photos and updates helping with our concern about leaving him. Bailey was royally loved and spoiled, receiving multiple walks each day and access to snuggling with them on the couch and recliner. When we picked him up, I could see that he had really settled in with them as he was a little hesitant as to who was his favorite now! We would highly recommend this kind and loving couple. They were exactly what we were hoping to find for Bailey’s care. Thank you Skip & Mary!

Macy loves her Aunt (Mama) Krista! She always has a great time winter or summer! Long walks and trips out the doggie door are just part of the great service. Forget to leave something with your baby? Don’t worry… Aunt Krista to the rescue.

Jennifer took wonderful care of my dog! Easy pick-up/drop off and great communication. She sent pictures and videos throughout my long holiday to keep me updated on all the fun he was having.

Jessica was awesome! We received several pictures and videos of our dogs while we were on vacation which helped keep us at ease. Our dogs enjoyed her company and love. We would definitely recommend her care.

Amanda is fantastic! She has watched our girl, Bizzy, twice now. Each visit being 10+ days. She is very communicative, great with dogs and Bizzy always comes home super happy after her stay. We will definitely be using Amanda in the future!

Catherine was great! I received regular updates, pics, and videos. After my trip return was delayed, she was flexible in working with me to have someone else pick up my pup for me. My pup loved his time there as well. I’ll be looking to book again in the future.

Katie was very nice and took care of my Nova just the way I asked. Nova was very happy when she came home and she was well taken care of. I got updates as well showing me how she was doing will definitely book again!

Jen & Christina are GREAT!! So happy with the Care and Attention they gave to my Senior Dog. Daily Pictures and Comments on her activities helped to ease my anxiety. I could enjoy my vacation - knowing she was in good hands. Would HIGHLY recommend them.

Kasie was very responsive to my dog's anxiety and medication schedule. Pictures were sent daily and I could see how settled in and relaxed Guinness looked. I would not hesitate to use Kasie as a caregiver for Guinness again.

Heidi was amazing with our senior pup. She sent tons of pictures and frequently updated us with how he was doing. We will absolutely use her again!
