Dog Boarding in Howell

I was at first nervous to leave Hershey because he is a rescue dog. He was abused when he was a puppy but his stay with Caroline was amazing. She brought him right into the fold and he fit right into the pack there. I will use her again. She is an amazing caring dog whisper.

Kelly and Brandon are fairly new to our community and to Rover.com. I am so glad they are here as they live very close to our home and Lukie loved staying with them. I know this is true because he did not have any reentry issues or odd new behaviors when he got home. He was not exhausted either, as has happened after stays elsewhere. Kelly and Brandon are caring, responsible, professional and I will happily use them again and recommend them to our friends.

Kelsey & Kyle are amazing with our doggy, Maxx. They were so kind and indulgent with an our four-legged buddy. It makes it so much easier to be away when you know your pup is having a grand time without you! Thank you so much!!

Stephanie was amazing. I got daily pictures and messages updating me on Brutus day. That helped ease any concerns with leaving him while I was so far away. Definitely using her for any other trips or babysitting needs.

Emily and Tim went above and beyond to accommodate Scooby’s needs. We felt so comfortable and at ease knowing he was happy and loved while we were away. We will definitely be booking with them for future trips.

I spoke to many sitters and met with 2. Tracey was the best fit for lola. She stated lola was a bit stressed the day we dropped her off but soon became friends with both Tracey and her dog mystic. I will definitely be keeping her info as we were both pleased with the care lola recieved. She even helped clean out her ear for us. Thanks again Tracey.

Barbara and Dirk did an amazing job watching our older dog! This was our first time using Rover and leaving our dog with anyone that wasn’t family for an extended period - but I am pretty sure they treated him BETTER than our family has in the past. They sent regular updates and pictures, and when we picked up our dog it was clear that he was content, happy, and loved! I wish that we would have found them sooner because our dog loved being with them. They accommodated, and even welcomed, our dogs unique quirks (anxiety, mobility issues, etc) and made us feel at ease. We will be back - thank you so much!!

Matt was incredible! He took such great care of my buddy and made him part of his family while I was away. I never had to worry about anything. Matt sent me updates throughout my time away and we couldn’t have been happier with our experience. My pup can’t wait for his next visit to Matt’s!

Toni is amazing! I truly appreciate her accepting Ponyo on such short notice during an urgent situation. Her place is perfect for dogs — spacious, clean, and clearly set up with care and love. Toni is very experienced and knowledgeable, especially with dog behavior. Ponyo felt safe and calm with her right away, and it’s clear Toni knows how to handle all kinds of dogs with patience and understanding. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter. Thank you again, Toni!

Laura was amazing, she let my dog sleep in a bed and even took some amazing photos with a Christmas themed backdrop. (Posted in my profile). She was always reachable and my baby boy was really happy when I picked him up. He’ll definitely be back for more visits!

Linda did an amazing job taking care of our Sadie when we took a trip out East for a wedding. I hesitated at first to write this review because I didn't want to give away the name of the perfect dog sitter. I remember when our kids were little we didn't want to share the perfect babysitter's name because then that would reduce her availability for us. But, that wouldn't be fair to Linda. If Linda were available, I would book her every time we needed a dog sitter. We received regular updates, including pictures of Sadie. She is very kind and very responsible. Highly recommended!

Our dog was so relaxed on the way home after picking him up... no stress or anxiety. That is best review. Regular updates made for a worry free vacation. Bill & Sandy were great and we hope to see them again for future vacations. Thank you!!!

Deana and her husband are great sitters. When walking into there home you feel this since of warm and comfortable feeling. Taking my fur baby there Is a place I know my baby will be taken care of. They treat my fur baby like there own and provide love and kindness. My dog loves going over to her home for he gets not only the cuddling and attention from Deana and her husband but he loves her dog Shaggy. If you need someone who is nurturing, attend to your dogs needs and have a way making your pet enjoy him/ herself then I would choose Deana.

**First-time rover user here!** I cannot express enough positive things about Holly and her family. They treated Stella as if she were part of their family. I was nervous about leaving her with someone we didn't know personally, but that feeling quickly vanished after meeting Holly in person. Stella is a puppy mill rescue that has some major trust issues. She is a very sweet girl with a gentle soul but is shy and reserved. However, she did fantastic with Holly! I appreciated Holly's communication; she always texted and sent pictures and updates. We will 1000% use Holly again!

I had a great experience leaving my boy with Mandy. I received daily updates with a photo. It was so nice to know he was treated like family and received lots of attention!

Marija is incredibly kind and attentive. She did a wonder job communicating and making sure we knew that Carl was okay. We will be using her again.

Sheila was really great and accommodating to our schedule and making our sure our dogs were comfortable. She puts the dogs first and cares about them!

Kristi, Jason the family took amazing care of Rocky. Rocky settled in quickly and got along great with everyone! I would definitely recommend them.

Liz took very good care of Vince and Ivy for us! She sent pictures and let me know how they were doing. I would definitely have her take care of our dogs again.
