Dog Boarding in New Haven

I’m so glad I found Joni on Rover!!! It was the week before our daughters wedding. I was panicked not knowing who we could have check in on our boy. The wedding was out of town and I just couldn’t leave him home alone for so long! Joni is a God send!!! She was WONDERFUL with Rocco! She treated him like he was her own dog! This was his first time away from home and I knew he was in good hands!!! She’s so attentive to their every need. He was never left alone. He even made a new friend, Willis!! She sent me messages about him and videos as well. I felt so relieved to know he was having fun!! I’m so very grateful!! I HIGHLY recommend Joni AND Rover.com to care for your beloved dog!! Thanks again, Joni!!! We love you!!

Martha was amazing, she provided updates pictures and even thought Toby how yo ring thr bell to go outside, all just in a weekend, I had the best experience , and I will recommend to everyone who wants excellent care of their fur babies.

My dog Lucy had a wonderful stay with Marty! Marty and her family treated my dog like she was one of their own. Marty has an amazing yard and comfortable home for dogs, and she provided me with lots of photos and updates. I highly recommend Marty and will absolutely work with her again for future boarding needs.

Holly is absolutely amazing! Hands-down, the best boarding experience I’ve had in my entire life. My puppy had an amazing time, I received updates as often as I wanted them, she was careful to follow my instructions, and I feel perfectly safe, leaving my puppy with her again in the future and often. If you are looking for a boarder who puts her whole heart into watching your baby, Holly is the one for you!

Toni should rename her farm Puppy Wonderland! So much to do and see and smell! My 7 month old giant puppy had a great time. I was anxious leaving all 70 lbs of him with someone new- but Toni is a more than capable dog handler. Sunny will totally be back!

This was our 2nd time boarding overnight and we plan to continue using them for the foreseeable future! Our dog Snickers settled right into their home and enjoyed her stay. Lots of belly rubs, walks, cute photos and updates throughout the stay. We are very happy we found Andrew and Morgan.

We can't thank you enough for taking our babies in for the weekend and treating them like your own. For the safety of my pups, I appreciate the fact that you only take in one client at a time. They ate well and slept well and got all the attention they needed. Your updates with photos put our minds to ease knowing they were well cared for. We already have future plans to book with Ashley again.

Loved the communication prior and during their stay along with the updates on how they were doing along with the photos. Will use again. Thanks for making me feel safe leaving them with you and your family.

Thank you Sue for providing a warm and loving home for our little puppy! Millie had lots of exercise time playing in Sue's beautiful fenced-in backyard. Sue took pictures of Millie and sent them with messages allowing us to see how happy and active Millie was. This was Millie's first time with a sitter. When we need a sitter we will take Millie to her new second home.

Cheryl was easy to communicate with and very responsive to questions. Her home has a fenced in backyard and our dog got along great with hers! However, when Cheryl and our dog encountered an aggressive dog while on a walk in her neighborhood, Cheryl lost control of our dog which resulted in an unfortunate encounter. If you have a small to medium dog, I would recommend Cheryl for boarding.

I had to leave my precious Lady with Greta for ten days. Lady was not only happy to see me after but also show great love and affection for her caregiver. Greta kept in touch with me while away and made sure to let me know about Lady as as soon as I got anxious and requested additional updates. I can’t thank her enough to for taking care of “Precious Lady”. I will definitely keep asking Greta to watch Lady in the future as she has proven to be trustful, responsible and patient with a anxious paw-parent 😊. Thanks so much Greta!!! 🤗

Chris and his family took on our 7mo old puppy for the weekend (no small feat!) and we could not have been more grateful. He sent us daily photos and updates and was so chill about welcoming a bouncy, energetic mini bear into his home. He made us feel very comfortable and let Rocket jump right in to being a part of his family. Thank you for taking such good care of our boy, Chris!

Alexandra and her family took great care of my pampered pooch. She is exhausted when she gets home from all the fun.

Jessica is a phenomenal sitter who was willing and able to respond to my booking last minute, took care to make sure my old dog was properly fed and medicated, and went the extra mile by providing well timed updates and photos while I was away and took him on daily walks. I highly recommend this sitter. :)

I had a great experience leaving my boy with Mandy. I received daily updates with a photo. It was so nice to know he was treated like family and received lots of attention!

Kayla and family gives such great care and love to our puppy while in their care! I call them his second family. I also get so many wonderful photos and videos I know he is being well cared for and loved!
