House Sitting in Gem Lake

Luke and Rachel were incredible. We have a very needy, great Dane, and on top of that, he was being treated for pneumonia for the first couple days that they were there. They had tricks to get him to come inside when he was scared of them, tricks to get him to eat, even though he was anxiety ridden, and by the end of the week, he was best friends with them. We could not recommend Luke and Rachel enough.

Grateful...we are so happy Anna accepts our requests. She is dedicated, flexible, knowledgeable, and most importantly, affectionate with our dogs.

Jacquie did such a great job taking care of Lucy. She communicated very well and kept Lucy comfortable. We will definitely be using her again.

Katherine has watched our four dogs several times. Each time we leave the home knowing that they are loved and cared for so well. We are lucky to have her for our fur babies !

Norah was awesome! She took amazing care of our elder diabetic dog and new puppy. She checked in often with a text and pictures. She was also very flexible when our plans had a slight change. Would highly recommend. Thank you Norah!

Laura spent the weekend house sitting and caring for Tucker, our anxious and spoiled beagle. Although she’s watched him previously, this was the first overnight stay. I was so grateful to leave Tucker in Laura’s loving and capable hands. She is a natural with dogs, followed along with Tucker’s schedule, communicated with us as needed, and all went well. We look forward to booking Laura again!

Chioma has taken great care of our pup and cat when we’ve traveled, giving us updates throughout and managing both pets and specialty situations that have come up for the care of them or the home. Thank you, Chioma!

Kaitlin was absolutely amazing with our pups! She took excellent care of them and we will definitely request her in the future! The pups are safe and have a new bestie they love!!

Amanda did a wonderful job taking care of our dogs. She kept us updated throughout the stay with texts and photos and she kept detailed notes of everything that happened. She left the pages of notes on the counter so we could review them when we got home. One thing that really stood out was how attentive she was to our dog who was having trouble eating. Amanda went above and beyond by patiently feeding her by hand to make sure she got the food she needed. That level of care and dedication meant a lot to us. It’s clear that Amanda generally cares about the pets she looks after. Our pups were in great hands and we’d be happy to have her watch them again.

Rachel was very respectful of my home and my pets, and she took care of all the things that I had asked her to take care of. She asked questions and made sure that she was clear on everything that needed to be done. I would definitely use her again.

Grace was great! We so appreciated her willingness to come meet our pets in advance, as well as her helpful communication during our time away. We'd certainly book with Grace again in the future.

It was clear got lots of love and play while at Alicja’s. As someone who was terrified to leave my dog for the first time she helped ease my worries and sent lots of photos while my dog stayed with her.

Sahtyn was a great dog sitter for our three dogs! They were well cared for while we were gone for five days. She even shoveled the driveway when it snowed! She administered medication for one of my dogs, and was good about getting my puppy out for potty breaks. We will definitely use her again!

Bella and Matt were amazing! They took good care of Carrot, getting her medication on time and sending plenty of happy dog pictures. Highly recommend working with them.

Karen did a great job taking care of our pets and our home while we were away! She kept our puppy safe and entertained and made sure our cat and chickens were fed and watered as well. She communicated well and frequently.

Naomi stayed at my house to take care of my 10 yr. old lab/boxer mix Indy while I was out of the country for about a week. She was so kind and responsive, took excellent care of Indy and the house, and sent lots of picture updates :). Indy will definitely miss all of the attention and walks! Highly recommend Naomi to anyone looking for housesitting services.

Penny was wonderful! She house sat for us and took care of both of our dogs and our cat. She did a great job communicating with us throughout the entire process leading up to our trip as well as on the trip itself. We got updates and pictures of each of our little guys every day. She did a great job, I would not hesitate to book her again for our needs!

Lisa did a wonderful job dog sitting our two pittie-mixes. She gave them lots of snuggles and sent us pictures and updates while we were away. We appreciate that Lisa was able to stay at our house and watch over our place and puppies while we were way on short notice. Lisa did a great job enticing our dog to take a pill when he was being stubborn. We we would love to have Lisa puppy sit in the future and would recommend her as a great sitter. We came home to two very happy puppies. Thanks Lisa!

We came home from our trip to a very content dog and cat. They were happy to see us but they were so content that it was just like any other day coming home from work. Gretchen sent us pictures of our pets and kept in touch with us the entire stay. We felt very comfortable and knew our pets were in great hands. We would highly recommend Gretchen. Our animals loved her!
