Dog Boarding in Nowthen

Had a big concern boarding our diabetic Rocky after last Fall's boarding at a DIFFERENT kennel where we suspected he was not given his insulin. We spoke candidly with Sophia and Travis that he readily accepts his insulin injection from us, but also informed them that he does not like Veterinary visits and doesn't like "strange people" getting in his space. They said they were up for the challenge, so we gave them a muzzle and a jar of peanut butter and left Rocky for the weekend. Got a text after Friday evening's feeding that all went well with the insulin poke! Next day at our breakfast we decided to look in on how Rocky was doing (so neat that they have a Wyze camera in the kennel/box stall where he was staying). At that time Travis and Sophia were just feeding Rocky breakfast so we decided to continue watching to see how the insulin injection would go this time. Sophia smeared peanut butter in his bowl and as Rocky investigated that, Travis gentilly reached for Rocky. Rocky must have growled as Travis slowly pulled his arm back. Happened another time and as Sophia went to retrieve the muzzle, Travis tried one more time slowly and Rocky allowed him to complete the injection! That meant a lot to us! They have a wonderful fenced in pasture for the dogs to run and get their exercise. Nice big horse hobby farm box stalls for each dog to bed down at night. When we came to pick up Rocky, he was so excited to see us and after running around he settled down a bit and as we were talking to Travis, Rocky went over and stood beside him and quietly "leaned" into Travis as he was being petted. That's good enough for us!

They sent pictures to show how well Edie was doing. She was clearly happy and well taken care of.

Amy was great with my spoiled dog Sam. While on vacation she emailed photos and even took Sam up to her cabin where he enjoyed his self. I usually don't leave reviews but Amy is so deserving of one....My family would like to say thanks ...(Sam misses the cuddling).

Cosmo had a great stay and with the pictures I saw he wish it was longer with Trina and his new fur buddy. Thank you for being flexible and accepting our booking.

Super nice and sweet. Felt very comfortable right away after meeting her. My pooch was treated as one of her own. Highly recommend and will for sure use her again if needed

Karissa was wonderful with Ed! He is a 9 month old, very busy lab. She was great about responding to questions and concerns. I picked up a happy, tail wagging puppy. Thank you Karissa. I will definitely book again.

Kay and her family were so attentive to our pup. We appreciated the photos, videos and thorough updates. We felt comfortable leaving our girl there and she was very well cared for. We will definitely book with her in the future.

Brenda & Alvin took such great care of my furbaby! They sent daily updates, & he looked so happy in the photos & videos they sent! 😊 10/10 would recommend! If we are back in the area & need a sitter again, we would absolutely rebook! Thank you!

My dog Nala loves going to Thomas and Sue’s house. She loves their dog Ramone and Nala always comes home happy and tired. We have used Thomas for doggie daycare and for boarding as well. I trust that she is in good hands when I leave her with them.

Our tender hearted beagle is enjoying her time with Margaret and with her new found friends. Margaret's home is a great place for a dog to learn to socialize and learn how to be a dog. We get such a kick out of the photos and report cards. We watch the video clips over and over again and share them with friends. Margaret's healing care of our dog is giving her confidence, and letting her true personality come through!

Nancy and Jeremy always take excellent care of our dog! He’s always excited to see them and they do a great job of communicating while we are away. We’ve used them several times and plan to in the future too!

Meghann was great at keeping me updated with pics and comments while caring for my pup. She knew I was anxious about my pup not eating while I was gone and even provided pics of my pup eating. It was a great experience.

Our pups had a great time staying with Jaci and Jamie and their pup Wednesday. We were sent updates and pictures throughout the weekend. Thank you for a great Rover pet sitter experience! We will definitely have our dogs stay here again.

I am so glad we found Melissa to watch our rambunctious 9 month old German shepherd puppy for a few days while we were out of town! Her communication was fantastic and she has a clear love of dogs. While the weather was bad she did extra mental stimulation for Frank to tire him out and gave him plenty of physical activity as well when the weather allowed! She handled his puppy/teenager attitude wonderfully. At the end of Frank’s stay, she even dropped him off for us and gave him a few new toys to enjoy. Definitely would recommend to others for their pups!

Maureen was such a lifesaver for our very long holiday trip (over Christmas and New Years!) She kept us well updated with photos, was so easy to work with and so loving to our pup pup! I feel so thankful to have met Maureen and definitely will be re-booking care in the future!

Taylore and her husband Luke were absolutely amazing! We needed last-minute boarding for our puppy over Thanksgiving weekend, and Taylore responded to my message within minutes. She quickly arranged a time for us to meet and drop off our pup. When we arrived, they were incredibly welcoming, and we immediately felt confident that our sweet girl would be well cared for. Throughout her stay, Taylore sent daily photos and updates, which gave us such peace of mind. We will definitely be using her services again in the future. We highly recommend her—100%!

Bailey had a great time with Alicia. She had a big fenced in backyard and another dog to play with all week. Alicia provided great updates and photos on Bailey during her stay. I will definitely ask Alicia to care for Bailey again.

Nicole was great watching our dogs! They came home and were exhausted after a long weekend of play time with her dogs and they are happier than ever!

After using a number of different dog boarding places It was a great relief to know our dog, Wsha, was being looked after by Sophan. She knows & understands dogs & her care for them is obvious. Plus she has a wonderfully large fenced back yard! Thanks so much Sophan I hope we get the opportunity to use your excellent services again.

Rebekah and her family did a wonderful job caring for my little boy and keeping him entertained. I will definitely be using her again when I need a sitter.
