Dog Boarding in Shakopee

Ashley and Christian did such a fantastic job watching our dog while we were on vacation. They gave her lots of walks, pets, and attention. We also appreciated the updates that they texted to us throughout our time away, so we kept up with how she was doing. We'll definitely keep them top of list for any other trips coming up!

Alyssa and David were so great watching our dog Ames. It was clear they were dog people and that she was in great hands from the start. We’ll definitely be checking their availability first when we need someone to watch our pup in the future.

Our golden doodle loves going to Mandy’s. She normally won’t go inside anyone’s home without being carried in. She goes right in and loves being there. She didn’t even do that with our old dog sitter that had been watching her since she was a pup. We are so glad we found Mandy when our old sitter moved. She also comes home exhausted which means she played hard. Thank you Mandy for always taking such amazing care of our beloved Goldie girl!

Emma does an amazing job with Luna. Always responsive and ready to answer any questions. Will be rebooking with Emma anytime she will take Luna.

First time using Rover. Found Andrew, as he was available for the weekend and close to home. Andrew would send us daily updates along with photos and was always quick with a response when we had a question. We used a kennel in the past for boarding, and our dog seemed a little "off" for a couple of days after picking him up. When I picked our dog up from Andrew's house, it was almost as if our dog didn't want to go! Dog was happy, and we were extremely happy and grateful for Andrew. Would recommend Andrew, to anyone contemplating using Rover for overnight stays.

Our dog Brody stayed with Greta for 5 nights while we were on a trip. Greta took great care of Brody and took him on several walks. We will definitely book with Greta again!

Kelly took very good care of my Daisy. She sent updates with pictures and Daisy seemed happy when I picked her up. Will definitely keep Kelly in mind for future visits.

Sarah was the absolute best! This was my first time using Rover and I was a little nervous leaving my somewhat anxious dog for 8 days with a stranger! ? But Sarah and her partner Joe were absolute dream substitute parents. I knew from the first meet/greet that Bella was going to be loved and well cared for. Bella enjoyed daily walks, lots and lots of snuggles, pets, shoulder rubs, and “good girl” reminders! They have a great home and let my Bella have free reign and their beautiful fenced yard provided so many new sniffing spots! I received daily updates and pics so I knew how my baby was doing the whole time. I am so happy to have found Sarah and will definitely be having her watch my Bella next time we go out of town.

This was the first time we used Rover. I had contacted a few other carers on the platform whose approach just didn't seem quite right for our dog, who, as a pandemic puppy, is used to being "a part of the family" with few restrictions on where he can roam. Then we found Chad! Chad took wonderful care of our dog and gave him plenty of exercise every day in dog parks and at home with his own dogs. We just booked Chad again for another week-long stay and know it will be another special vacation for our pup.

James & Emma were great! They sent pictures and videos and our dogs clearly had a great time! I could tell they were well cared for. We will definitely use James & Emma again!

Natalie and Paul treated our dogs as part of their family. Our dogs were very tired coming home, so they must have played hard. We really appreciate the great care and would recommend them to take care of anyone's dogs. We really appreciated all the updates with pics and videos! Thank you.

We’ve used Kelly many times now! She’s extremely responsive & caring! My dog loves her & her dogs! When we pull into her driveway my dog gets super excited & practically drags me to the front door!

Jenn is amazing! She is incredibly nice and easy to schedule with. She sends pictures and gives updates while we’re gone. She and her daughter take wonderful care of our two dogs and we’re so glad we found her. We never worry about the dogs when they’re with her. Highly recommend!

Charlie is a really nice man who gave our Scout wonderful care during her 2 week stay. He is very responsive and accommodating. We will definitely use him again. Scout would complain if we didn’t!!!

Shelley was amazing, couldn’t have made my first experience letting someone watch my dog any better :) She sent daily pictures with updates which was so sweet and comforting. She even made sure to be aware of his overheating/breathing since he is a bulldog in the summer! Great experience 😊😊
