Dog Boarding in Winsted

Amanda took such great care of Charlie! She was very flexible and communicative; she sent several pictures. We will definitely use her services again.

Our Black Labs were so happy. It was like you could tell they were smiling. She sent us lots of pictures throughout the visit. We were confident they were in great care. They had so much fun. She quickly picked up on their personalities and what they loved. They were very well cared for in her home.

I am so relieved and completely grateful to have found Karri to take care of my senior dog, Leo. This has made all the difference in being able to spend time with my family! My little friend was tired, but happy and Karri reassured me that he was a good boy. We will definitely book Karri again! Thank you, Karri and Rover.

Teddy had a great time! We got several updates during the trip which was so appreciated and looked like our pup really enjoyed his time. He was so tired once he came home.

Couldn't ask for a better place for my dog to be while we were on vacation. I didn't worry at all. Joann was great with her and sent plenty of updates. By looking at some of the pictures, Pebbles was definitely being spoiled. It really looked like my dog had a great time.

Hattie was such an amazing host to our puppy! Very communicative, took lots of pictures & videos, and took such good care of our pup! Will definitely utilize her again!

My dog had a wonderful 12-day stay with Vanessa and Andrew! Their whole family helped my dog feel at home with nice gentle attention, walks every day, car rides, and love! They followed my instructions for medication and feeding, and provided a safe quiet place for him during the Independence Day fireworks. I hope to be able to book with them again!

Everything about this experience was great! Toby was well taken care of and had fun, made our vacation so much better to know our dog was very happy. We will absolutely use Donald again!

Stacy was absolutely amazing with our lil' dude Kane! Kane is a 10yr old Yorkie, can be a little needy and loves to be around people and she and her husband let him hang around them all day, even when they were working. She sent pictures and updates every morning and we always knew he was well taken care of while we were gone. I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone and am so happy to know that Kane has such a great place to stay when we are away. THANK YOU, Stacy!!!

Regan was very flexible and accommodating for Walt's visit. It was his first time staying with her and the first time he has boarded without the other family dog. She took great care of him & we loved getting her pictures and updates. The back yard is fenced and safe, which was very important to us since our pup isn't used to being off-leash outside. We'll be back!

Ashley & Christian are extremely caring, responsive, and provide great feedback. We’ve used them a couple times and feel very happy to leave our fur child with them.

This was my first time utilizing Rover for someone to watch my dog instead of boarding her, and I will never board again! Because of Laura's love for dogs and caretaking home and experience with dogs, my Luna was allowed on the couch to rest, allowed to sleep on a bed as she does at home, and was not required to be kennel trained (my dog has extreme kennel anxiety due to situations as a puppy). Luna did so well AND didn't have the upset stomach as she did after boarding at a facility. She was brought into the family as their own for the week, and sent me pictures daily, which helped put my mind at ease. 10/10 recommend Laura for your doggy overnight needs!

Brittany was excellent! She helped my dog work through some gastrointestinal issues while she watched him, even using some of her own dogs’ special blend food for the purpose. My dog seemed to have fun with the variety of other dogs Brittany was watching during his stay with her. She’s a true dog person and clearly loves dogs. She’s got three of her own! And some of them have special needs, so she’s well-versed in and comfortable with special care.

A dog's paradise! Kate and John were absolutely wonderful with our pup Ryker. Already at the meet and greet I could tell that they were going to love our dog like their own. I knew from the questions Kate asked me that she is an experienced dog sitter with a big heart and that she understands how anxious dog parents can be and that every dog has different routines and requirements. She asked me things that I would have forgotten to tell her about :) and her husband John has such a friendly and calm way with the dogs too, I felt absolutely confident leaving Ryker with them. The same was true for their dog Cash who is a real sweetheart. From the start the two pups ran around together like they were brothers and Ryker felt right at home. During the stay they sent me daily updates and photos and were always responding immediately. I could enjoy my vacation without having a guilty feeling because I knew, Ryker was having a lot of fun and felt loved and safe. When we picked Ryker up, he was excited to see us but in no way in a hurry to leave their place. No wonder, the yard is a paradise for dogs and humans. I can highly recommend them and am in fact already planning our next stay.

Ramanda and her family are always great with our pups. She’s responsive and easy to coordinate drop off and pick up with. And she sends lots of photos. The best part is she and her family are great with our dogs! They get so much love and fun.

Taylor was very responsive to messages and was flexible with a couple last minute changes. Our dogs looked like they had a great time and we got lots of photo updates! Would recommend!

Kj was absolutely wonderful! She watched our dog Cato for a long weekend. She has a beautiful property with tons of room for dogs to roam free, and sent us lots of pictures and videos throughout the stay. It was obvious that Cato was in good hands. We will absolutely use her again! Thanks Kj!
