Dog Boarding in Smithville

First time using Rover and leaving our pup with someone other than family. Ashley was so kind and responsive, sent pictures and video. We were able to rest easily and enjoy our vacation wonderfully. Would definitely book with Ashley again in the future here soon.

Alix was absolutely the best! She sent me pictures of Chance while I was away and she even gave him a bath after he got all muddy! I will definitely be coming back. ?

Jimmy was very happy at Ciara’s place. He came home more playful than usual for his calm demeanor which is fun! The socialization is so good for him. I can tell they are really dog lovers. 🤗 we will be back!

Luna was in good hands with MacKenzie. Her stay was during the hottest few days so far this year, but MacKenzie kept a cool doggie pool going for them to cool off. If your dog likes playing in the back yard with some friends, they'll love staying here!

Lindsay and her husband watched my pup this past weekend. My dog has never been in a “boarding” situation before so she was very apprehensive and confused when I went to leave without her. I wanted to do a trial run. Lindsay sent photos and updates through out the weekend putting me at ease and showing what a great time my pup was having with her dogs. I will definitely be using Lindsay again this summer for a much longer trip.

Adaline was amazing with Kahlua! She kept me updated with pictures and made sure that Kahlua had the best time ever. Would definitely consider her to take care of Kahlua again.

Laura was great with Bacon. He is blind and she wasn't at all intimidated by his special needs. We appreciate her care , pictures , and even a blanket she made. Will certainly use again

Communication was great with Taylor and our dogs seemed to settle right in with her. This was our first time using Rover and our dogs are older so we were a bit nervous. But Taylor made it a great first experience!

Cathy is amazing!!! This is our first time using Rover, and we are so glad we did!!! She truly cares and loves your dogs like her own! I don't know how she does it!? I think she just has so much love in her heart to give!! Our visit was a just an overnight, but our doggies just love her! We will definitely use again if the need comes up!!! Oh and she sent pics and updates!!! Thank you!!!!!!!!

This is my first time having a high energy dog and I get nervous for other people dealing with this energy. Upon first meeting, Nathen did not seem fazed by my crazy boy. It put my mind at ease. I’m really happy with how things went for Zeke’s first time being boarded. Thank you so much!

I felt reassured leaving Daisy with Amanda. Meet and greet, tour of her home, she welcomed Daisy in and took the time to get to know her to make sure she was a good fit for her home and family which told me right away Amanda truly cares. I received great updates and pictures and I knew Daisy was having a great time. Amanda, thank you for going above and beyond, I am so happy we found you!

Angie and her fiancé were fantastic with our dogs Neptune and Nova. She was very accommodating, provided frequent updates with photos and videos, and we loved seeing how happy and relaxed the girls were while we were away. We returned to two well-cared-for, joyful pups. Highly recommend! 🐾

Simply put, Brent has been the best rover I’ve used in the KC area. I’d rebook with him in a heartbeat. He was able to take in my dog last minute and took the best care of her. He was super accommodating and very communicative before and during her stay. Thanks again, Brent!

Would give 10 stars if I could! Our little Gus is only 10 weeks old, and Robin was incredibly patient and attentive with him. You can immediately tell she has a genuine love for animals. She worked with him on potty training while we were away and kept us updated the entire time. We loved the daily photos! It was clear Gus was getting plenty of playtime, and he absolutely adored Robin’s two dogs. They were best friends by the end of his stay. When we picked him up, he was already bathed with his nails trimmed—truly above and beyond. Thank you so much, Robin!

Laurie was great taking our pups last minute when we had someone cancel. She sent us pictures and communicated well I will definitely use her again if she'll have our pups.

Sharon and Glen were amazing hosts to my high energy dog. They clearly made an effort to bond with my dog. Great communication. They clearly care about the dogs they take care of.
