House Sitting in Avery Creek

I could write a book about how amazing Christina is! I am a first time Rover-user. I’m also a single Mom to a 3yr old little boy and a 6yr old female pitbull. Long story short I NEEDED this vacation but I was having such bad anxiety about leaving my dog for 9 days with a stranger. The minute I reached out to Chris she immediately put my mind at ease. I have never used a service like this so I had so many questions about how everything worked. Chris came to my house for a meet/greet about a month before my trip (before I officially booked the dog-sit) so she could meet my dog, take a look at the house, and most importantly put my mind at ease while I asked her a bunch of questions. Chris and I just ‘clicked’. I felt like I was just catching up with an old family friend. After that initial meeting I knew I was comfortable with her taking care of my dog/house. I booked Chris for a dog walk a few days after that initial meeting so she could meet my dog once more and take her in a short walk to get familiar with my dogs behavior. Both of these meetings put my mind at ease and I was happy to focus on preparing for our trip to the beach, instead of worrying about the well-being of my dog. Chris informed me she could communicate as much or as little as I wanted while we were away on our trip. I told her I would love as many pictures and updates that she was willing to send. She did not disappoint! At least once a day I received a picture of my dog and an update and summary of the day. I have high anxiety and there wasn’t a second during this entire process where I felt stressed or overwhelmed. Any sort of hesitations or reservations I was having Chris knew exactly what to do to put my mind at ease. I know this review is already long but I could write so much more. In conclusion Chris has: Great communication She is Trustworthy Immense love for animals Tidy Takes pride in her work You can tell she loves her job Chris is amazing. Your animal and house will be well taken care of. Looking forward to my next vacation so I can book Chris again. I’ve been back from my trip for only a week and I’ve already forward her information to several friends and family.

Adaira was wonderful! She sent great pictures and thoughtful updates throughout her time with my dog - you can tell she genuinely cares for the animals she watches. We’ll definitely be booking with her again!

Susan was incredible! This was the first time we left Milo with someone who was not family and he adjusted perfectly! Some might say he listened to Susan better than us at times ha. We will definitely be rebooking Susan in the future!

Hayley is amazing, not only did she put my mind at ease during our first meet, but she was kind enough to alter her schedule to stay later on her last day (compensated). She gave us daily checkins with our girls and left the house better then the way we left it. I recommend Hayley to anyone looking for a responsible, trustworthy, energetic dog sitter! Mallory was extremely communicative and was always sure to send pictures and updates of all our pets. We had an amazing vacation largely thanks to knowing our home and pets were taken care of.

Michael was an excellent communicator, very responsive, took great care of my dog Chase, and left the house spotless. I will be contacting him for future pet sitting needs and highly recommend him!

Thank you Makayla! My dogs have never stayed with a dog sitter before and they immediately liked Makayla. Our little one is typically very shy with new people and she just happily went up to meet her with no problems. Our dogs get along sorta :/ and Makayla assured us she would follow or protocols to keep everyone safe and happy and she did. Both dogs wanted to say goodby, they enjoyed their time together.

Stacy is so nice and I completely trusted her to care for my dogs. I was leaving the country and having Stacy caring for my dogs made leaving completely stress free!

Morisa was great with the dogs. I was so glad that she straightened out my confusion about the date and time. She has wonderful communication skills, and I'm comforted that my dogs are well taken care of.

We were so happy Elizabeth could spend the weekend with our dogs in our home. She took great care of them, they were happy and healthy when we arrived. We will be repeat customers. Thanks!

Maya is a lovely soul and we were so happy with how she looked after our sweet golden retriever Maggie while we were away for a week long vacation in Oregon. You could see and feel how much she cared about Maggie’s well being. Maya is a proactive and consistent communicator and kept us well informed of how Maggie was doing through out our trip. She is kind, thoughtful and honest and was a pleasure to work with. Nathan is spectacular! I have an old man pup and he was on top of his meds, keeping him clean after his old man accidents, and kept in contact with me daily! I hired him back already!

Excellent care of Savannah! It was great that Amber came by to meet her ahead time which gave me a great comfort. And got to meet another person from Brevard. The house was in perfect order when I returned. Anyone would be lucky to have Amber! Great background in the care of animals!!

Levon was just terrific! He kept me up-to-date, sent pictures, and even ran an errand for me! Super friendly, reliable, and took excellent care of my elderly pup. I will most certainly hire again!

Shannon was so wonderful! She provided updates, photos, and videos of our pups and took excellent care of them! We could tell they were loved on and we couldn’t ask for more in a sitter :) We will most certainly be using Shannon again in the future!

Kate is a rockstar pet sitter. Definitely will rebook any time we are out of town and need a sitter for our 2 pets. Great communication skills made our lives much easier and less stressful while out of town. 10 out of 10!
