Dog Boarding in Black Mountain

I had a great experience booking with Caryn and her husband, Mike! After the initial meet and greet, I had no worries about leaving my dog in their care for a long weekend as I saw the property and was told about the plan to ensure all of the dogs (there were 3 others at their place) were safe and secure. My dog has loads of energy and she was able to run all around their backyard and play with the other dogs all weekend and was taken good care of at bedtime. I got updates with pictures and videos throughout her stay and I will not hesitate to book again in the future!

Tiffany was absolutely amazing with our two pups! She was also able to accommodate last minute schedule changes quickly. When I got our boys back, they were clean and happy as clams. I would definitely recommend her and her team!

I could tell stella was calm and content. Jessica, John, and family were the perfect fit with lots of extra attention, car rides, and snuggles. They sent lots of pictures which was nice !

We had a great experience. We got photos daily of our dogs. Our boys came back to us looking happy and healthy and you could tell they got quality play time vs being stuck in a crate all day. I’m really grateful for the great care Megan took of Ozzy and Iggy!

Ozzy had another great visit at “doggie camp”! He seems to enjoy his friends there and Rich went above and beyond given the snow and an old dog!!!

Vicky was so helpful taking care of our pug Emilio during our wedding reception. It made it possible for Emilio to be a part of our ceremony. She clearly loves dogs and what she does! Highly recommend.

Dan took exceptional care of Jax and made sure to keep me updated throughout his stay. Best rover experience I’ve had so far!

Katie and Jeremy were amazing with our pup! They have a big fenced in backyard where our dog enjoyed playing with their pup, as well as their sweet son. We received multiple photo updates every day where our dog looked happy and tired at the end of the day :). Overall, they were attentive, kept our pup safe, and made sure that he got ample play time. We will definitely be booking with them in the future.

Beyond impressed at how well she did with my giant pup!

Five stars all the way. We had to fly out of AVL for a few days and the parking there right now is challenging. We dropped our pup off, they drove us to the airport and when we returned we were picked up with our dog in the car. Aside from that experience, she had a blast and was a bit reluctant to leave her new human and canine friends. We will go to Ann & Jaren now every time we have to go away. Our dog loves all people and dogs so this was the perfect place for her. As they have 3 dogs of their own and often another Rover dog there it would be best to do a meet and greet the first time just to make sure they pups are all compatible. We did that and had no issues at all, only fun playmates.

This was our second time having Joseph & Andrea watch over our pets for a long weekend and I never know why I ever used a kennel in the past. Their welcome family environment only extends our dogs love of life. Thank you both!

Brody was super! 1-2 updates daily texts, videos or pictures Keeping us in the loop of our dog’s daily activities. Our dog was exercised even more than at home and it was clear when we picked him up he had had a ball. We are so pleased with Brody!

Great first-time sit with Kali! ! She took great care of Zalgo and is very knowledgeable about dogs. Great to know that we have a good sitter in the area.

Absolutely thrilled with Jen's pet sitting services! She was amazing with my fur baby, Loki. Jen's attentiveness and thoughtfulness stood out right away as she asked detailed questions about Loki's care and preferences. She went above and beyond by fixing Loki's leash, which was such a kind and helpful gesture. It's clear that Jen truly cares about the pets she looks after. We will definitely have Jen stay with Loki again in the future. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter!
