House Sitting in Joyland

Salem did a great job taking care of our little guy while also looking after the house while we were away. It’s so reassuring to be able to rely on someone so kind and responsible.

Brian was fantastic with two pups for a last-minute booking. He was communicative, responsible, and attentive to the dogs' needs. I returned home to two happy and healthy pups and would book Brian again in a heartbeat!

Lesa has cared for our dog, cat, and house for us on several occasions, and each time has done a wonderful job keeping the pets happy and the house in great shape. She's a good communicator and very responsive. We love having her here.

Chloe is an absolute professional. Our girls were not just cared for, but nurtured. We came home to a clean house and happy animals. She also has the most gorgeous handwriting I’ve ever seen!

Alessandra was wonderful! Very respectful of our home and took great care of our “little” (100lbs and 70 lbs) rascals. Would definitely book again

Melody was wonderful! Luna absolutely adored her (and she doesn't like most people, so this was huge), and she was communicative and thoughtful. Left the house nice and tidy as well! She was a joy to work with and we hope to have her stay again in the future.

Jalanie did an excellent job of taking care of Charlie in our home. Charlie was very happy spending time with her. I would recommend Jalanie and will definitely use her again if she's available. Thanks Jalanie!

Can’t recommend Alex enough! We always come back home to a super happy cat! Alex has amazing communication, sends the best updates/photos, is kind and goes above and beyond when taking care of our dear Kaju! Our favorite go-to sitter!

Austin was wonderful with my pups! They both have medical needs right now and Austin was very attentive and careful with them. He was a great communicator and kept me posted all day! It gave me peace of mind.

Alexis was very calm and sweet with my guys, and flexible about our schedule. We're looking forward to working with her again!

We had the same petsitter for several years. She moved away, and I was very anxious about finding a new person to stay in our home with our girls. Turns out I didn’t need to worry. Brittney was wonderful. She sent lots of pictures to keep me updated. The girls were happy and well taken care of. She was respectful of our home. We’ve already booked her again.

Joy was great with our anxious dog who seemed at ease when we got home after three days. She left the house in great condition and sent plenty of updates and pictures. We would definitely use Joy again.

Jax warmed up to Suzanne very fast. She sent a lot of pictures! We would use her again!

Laura was amazing through and through! I'd never used Rover before so I was a bit apprehensive about the service, especially considering my first use of it involved me and my partner leaving the country for 7 days so needing to find someone to stay in our apartment and take care of our dog for the trip was giving me anxiety. Laura put all those nerves at ease and made the entire experience wonderful! She came over a few weeks before to meet us, meet Clawdia, and get a feel for the environment. During the trip she gave me updates every day, sent pictures, and was positive and reassuring about the whole experience. She was extremely flexible with her availability as well. The last part of our trip, our flight was delayed in getting home and there was a possibility it might even be canceled and we'd have to spend the night in the airport. As stressful an experience as that was in trying to get home, she was very accommodating, she came and walked Clawdia in the afternoon and was prepared to come back and take care of her AGAIN that night if our flight didn't work out. Honestly couldn't recommend Laura enough! We'll for sure be reaching out to her again for our next trip assuming she isn't already booked up!

Veronica house and dog-sat for me and my medium to large mixed breed dog over 4 days at Thanksgiving 2024 and I was so pleased and happy that everything seemed to go very well, Oscar was happy and healthy when I returned and the house was fine too. She was responsible, walked Oscar, stayed with him at night and let him sleep with her in our guest bed, which he wanted to do in order to feel secure. She coordinated well with our coming back on the plane and making sure Oscar didn’t have too long to wait between potty breaks. She was very good about listening and being shown all of Oscar’s care instructions the day before we left, even though it took about an hour to show everything and she practiced walking him with me. I am planning to hire Veronica again for future dog sitting at my house 😁.

We are grateful to have someone we can trust with our dogs and home and count on for exceptional communication and capable problem solving. Our dogs aren’t the easiest. We traveled with total peace of mind for 12 nights thanks to Meredith.

Winter is trustworthy and very responsible. Banks was well cared for and based on the photos we got, he seemed very comfortable with her during her stay. The house was clean when we returned and Banks was happy. Have already reserved Winter for another housesitting gig! Highly recommend!
