House Sitting in Lake Junaluska

I needed a dogsitter on short notice for my energetic, big lab puppy and noticed as I was scrolling through profiles that Sara had the most reviews I had ever seen on Rover! She agreed to watch Polly for the weekend on only 1 day notice and I now realize just why she had so many reviews! I cannot recommend Sara enough, from the moment she came over to meet Polly I knew she could handle her no problem. She is extremely kind, communicative, and took tremendous care of both Polly and my house while she stayed as a guest. Multiple walks, doing laundry for muddy dog towels before she left, tons of play time indoors on a rainy weekend, she truly did it all and I cannot wait to use her again. If you are in the Asheville area, do not hesitate to contact her, I can attest your animals will be extremely well cared for. Sara is a true gem, thank you so much!

Back story: We had planned a trip and scheduled to board our senior Doberman, Sheba, at a local kennel. Unfortunately, Sheba was infected with viral pneumonia from a previous kennel stay and was in quarantine and recuperating. We couldn’t reschedule the trip and frantically searched for quality qualified care for her. In desperation, I connected with Ginni thru Rover. She visited our home and as we got acquainted, I knew she was perfect fit for our special situation. Ginni is a kind, gentle soul who paid careful attention to details, responded promptly to communications, lovingly attended to our fur babies’ needs, sent daily pics and updates showing how much our critters missed us - lol, and left our home “no trace left behind.” Sheba and our outdoor kitty can’t wait til we go on another vacation! We highly recommend Gini for house sitting your beloved fur babies!

Sheridan was a pleasure caring for our pets. She takes thorough notes on the important stuff and even came to do a 2nd meet and greet to ease our skittish dog. So convenient she lives just up the street to. Thank you!

Julie is great for both my daily visits and my overnights. My doggies are happy when I return and my house is tidy!!! She is wonderful!!!

Alana was awesome! She took great care of my dog while I was traveling. She was flexible when the power was initially off at my apartment, and made sure my dog was happy and comfortable. She sent updates, which was a nice gesture since I hadn’t used Rover before. Would definitely recommend!

Callie was amazing! She did a wonderful job taking care of our 3 dogs which can be a handful.

Sarah is THE most responsible, reliable, thoughtful and trustworthy pet sitter you can POSSIBLY imagine! All of our animals went straight to her right away at the meet and greet! Donna was the perfect pet sitter while I was on vacation for 10 days. She was very communicative, sent photos throughout my absence, kept my home clean and well taken care of, and was very thoughtful toward my cat, Lulu. Donna had a sheet that I filled out with all the information needed to take care of Lulu - I never had a pet sitter be so organized and thoughtful. Lulu is also special needs, requiring a supplement and an eye out to make sure she doesn't jump off anything too high. Donna did great in understanding what needed to be done. She's also a sweet and caring person. I highly recommend Donna and will most definitely book her pet services again.
