House Sitting in Morning Star

Grey was amazing! Our usual sitter had a last minute conflict come up right before a trip. I had never used Rover before and was a little apprehensive, but immediately felt reassured by Grey’s initial correspondence which was super clear. We did a meet and greet before which Grey also made super easy for us, and it was really clear that he was asking great questions (things that made it clear he was a professional and that reassured this newbie who was feeling a little unsure right before a big trip). After the meeting I immediately felt a huge weight off my shoulders. We continued to stay in touch before the trip, Grey was proactive about checking in and accommodating about handoff process and schedule. He was great about sending updates while we were away and was so sweet about the antics of my furballs. I felt like my fur goblins and my place were in really good hands. He was great about hand off too and asked how I wanted to do it. I told him that it would be great if we could overlap but that I understood if he had appointments when we got back. He confirmed he would make sure to be here and give us a pretty healthy window. Our flight ended up being delayed 2 hours and he waited for us without hesitation. He was so great about our check back in - told us funny anecdotes about his time and made me feel like he truly cared about the well being of our pets and home. Honestly, I think the place was cleaner when I got back than when I left and it was super clear my babies had been taken care of. I would give him a million stars if I could. From one dog parent to another, I can 1000% recommend Grey.

I needed a dogsitter on short notice for my energetic, big lab puppy and noticed as I was scrolling through profiles that Sara had the most reviews I had ever seen on Rover! She agreed to watch Polly for the weekend on only 1 day notice and I now realize just why she had so many reviews! I cannot recommend Sara enough, from the moment she came over to meet Polly I knew she could handle her no problem. She is extremely kind, communicative, and took tremendous care of both Polly and my house while she stayed as a guest. Multiple walks, doing laundry for muddy dog towels before she left, tons of play time indoors on a rainy weekend, she truly did it all and I cannot wait to use her again. If you are in the Asheville area, do not hesitate to contact her, I can attest your animals will be extremely well cared for. Sara is a true gem, thank you so much!

This was my second time with Ela and I’m inviting her to sit again next week! She is very easy to communicate with, very wise and intuitive with my animals. She’s clean (leaves everything exactly how I left it) and even washes her bedding which helps me out a lot! I’ve had nearly a hundred sitters over the last few years and she is one of the best. I wish I could take her to California with me when I move back next year!

Kaysee was awesome!! Very personable, and our 3 cats just love her. Gave us the peace of mind we needed while we were out of the country. We will be reaching out to her again in the future!

Thank you Makayla! My dogs have never stayed with a dog sitter before and they immediately liked Makayla. Our little one is typically very shy with new people and she just happily went up to meet her with no problems. Our dogs get along sorta :/ and Makayla assured us she would follow or protocols to keep everyone safe and happy and she did. Both dogs wanted to say goodby, they enjoyed their time together.

We were fortunate enough to have Chris take care of our home and animals again. We really needed a vacation and Chris made it easy for us to leave, knowing that our home and pets were in good hands! Our pets know and love her, so it’s a huge weight off our shoulders to be able to leave our home and our fur babies with someone that we not only trust, but a person who is genuine and dependable! Our dog needs medication for seizures, so that adds a bit of stress, but Chris takes it in her stride. It is very tough to find someone like Chris, but we have been fortunate enough to find that person it will care of our fur babies as if they were her own. Thank you, Chris!

Alana was awesome! She took great care of my dog while I was traveling. She was flexible when the power was initially off at my apartment, and made sure my dog was happy and comfortable. She sent updates, which was a nice gesture since I hadn’t used Rover before. Would definitely recommend!

I can't say enough about how wonderful Sheridan was when we booked her to stay over for a weekend to care for our anxious little pup. She was absolutely wonderful with our Nina and she sent photos regularly. She took Nina for walks and played with her. I would definitely recommend booking Sheridan for your pets and for your peace of mind.

Grace was amazing with my puppy! The updates of how the night was going were greatly appreciated and she left the place very clean and tidy. I would definitely recommend her services!

Julie handled our rambunctious duo like a champ while we were away. Never a worry that they’d do well in her care. And the house was neat and tidy upon our return. Will ask Julie to watch our boys again, if she’ll have us!

Kara was kind, professional, and really easy to communicate with from start to finish. I came home to relaxed and happy animals. Everything was handled reliably and with care. I’d book with her again and recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy sitter.

Susan was incredible! This was the first time we left Milo with someone who was not family and he adjusted perfectly! Some might say he listened to Susan better than us at times ha. We will definitely be rebooking Susan in the future!
