House Sitting in Powhatan

Let me start off by saying there is not enough ways for me to express how wonderful John was with our two very energetic Boykin spaniel girls. It’s always nerve-wracking leaving your home and animals in the care of a “stranger” but within the first few updates I received from John, any worries quickly faded. He was extremely communicative, giving updates and pictures many times during his stay. He left our home exactly as we left it. And best of all, our animals were loved in the entire time. They were completely happy and content when we got home - a far cry from how neurotic they are when coming home after being boarded. I hope John will continue to say “Yes!” To us in the future because he was spectacular, and we got totally spoiled.

Kaitlyn was fantastic with Luna and very communicative. She hung out with her all weekend while we were on vacation. Luna had constant attention and we got tons of pictures. We would definitely have her come stay with our dogs again.

Emily was wonderful! She gave me plenty of updates and made sure my boy got all the love while she was here. I will definitely work with her again.

Bethany did an excellent job keeping an eye on our 9 month kitten Louie. She kept me updated with pictures and messages on how he was doing. She's very flexible with her schedule. She also kept the house tidy. Definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a rover!

Lauren was a valuable find for me, especially never using Rover or having known anyone who had. She accommodated my request to meet both dogs and after seeing her interaction put my mind at ease. She communicated before and during the appointment and is an absolute gem!

Larry was awesome! He showed up on time and sent many pics, plus a video, while we were gone to let us know our dog babies were safe and happy. One of our dogs is a rescue, and she's extremely skittish. Larry took care of her with no issues. We highly recommend him and will be using him in the future.

Mary did a wonderful job. We came home to happy healthy babies and she listened to all my requests. She also kept a close eye on the health of everyone and took one of my dogs to the vet to check on a concern (everything was totally fine). Grateful to not have to worry while out of town!

The best of the best. Came through before a snow storm for us while we were having our first child!

We are repeat clients of Julia and she is the absolute best. She treats our home and pet with nothing but love and respect. She sends daily updates and is on time and prompt to messages. We highly recommend her and will always use her.

She helped me out and was able to house site for pretty much an entire week during the holidays. She did everything I asked and I had no issues.

I cannot say enough about Ginny! I added a very challenging 11 week old puppy to the mix with my (2 ) 4 year old dogs this weekend and Ginny was amazing!!! She is a true professional who goes above and beyond in taking care of my pups! I highly recommend her!!!

Taylor took great care of our dogs and cat, including my super senior dog with special needs. She kept in communication with us throughout, and we really appreciated the updates and pictures.

Jackie watched our dog Stormy over the Thanksgiving holiday & did an awesome job. We will definitely use Jackie again!

Brittany was absolutely phenomenal! From the moment we booked her, she was easy to work with, incredibly accommodating, and clearly passionate about caring for our pets. While we were on vacation, she provided our pets with the kind of love and attention you’d hope for from a close friend or family member.   She went above and beyond — bringing treats, toys for both our dogs and cats, and even throwing a puppy party. She was especially patient and understanding with our dog who has separation anxiety.   Brittany’s communication was exceptional, sending us at least three updates every single day with photos, videos, and details that kept us connected and reassured. We came home to happy, relaxed animals and a spotless house.  She even cleaned up nicely before leaving.   If you’re looking for someone who will treat your pets like her own and go the extra mile in every way, she’s the one!
