Dog Boarding in Purlear

Lane was friendly and accommodating, especially as we added on a day at the beginning. He sent pictures of Mollie playing with his dogs, and she had a good time. I will ask for him again at next year’s Merlefest!

Highly recommend them. They have a nice, shaded fenced in backyard which my dog loved. They kept me informed and sent photos daily. Also have excellent daily rate.

I can travel with peace of mind when I know Mike is watching my pup! I constantly get updates and my dog comes home pooped from getting so much excercise and play time.

Penguin and Ducky had a great time at Kara’s place! She was great to work with and was flexible and understanding regarding some last-minute changes to the booking and itinerary, even meeting us in Boone to pickup my girls so that I could spend more time with my family and friends during my brother’s bachelor party weekend. Kara is also a great photographer and sent awesome photos and videos of my pups playing with other dogs. She always responded quickly whenever I reached out to her. Can definitely recommend!

Maddie and Lady had a fun time staying with Jill and her family. She sent many photos of them running and playing with a couple of new friends in her spacious fenced in back yard. She also let me know after their first night that they were adjusting well as I was wondering since it was their first visit with her. We will definitely use her again when we need overnight dog care.

Heather is the best! I love when my pup gets to stay with her. She is always very well taken care of and Heather sends photos throughout my time gone. I would highly recommend booking with her!

This was our first time using Rover and it was a great success. We left Mya for 2 weeks with Lisa while we were in Italy. She sent several pictures of Mya while we were gone and let us know how well she was doing. When we picked her up she was clean and happy. We will certainly rely on Lisa in the future.

Laura is a great dog sitter! She is very responsive, flexible about timing for drop off and pick-up, and a genuine animal lover. She sent adorable pictures of Rex during his stay, gave me updates on his diet and what he did during the day. When I picked him up I could tell he'd had a good time and been in great hands. I will definitely use Laura again to watch Rex. Very recommended! ⭐️

Karen and Terry were AMAZING with our pup. We had serious anxiety about leaving her for the first time, but multiple pictures and videos a day helped ease our minds. Our doggo was having a blast anyway - playing with the other dogs and running around the yard. If we can, we’ll take her back every time we go on vacation!!

I had such a great experience with Hunter! From the start, she was extremely responsive to my messages and made the whole process easy and reassuring. She took amazing care of my dog, Dolly, and made sure that all the dogs were safe and comfortable. I really appreciated the updates and photos she sent, it gave me peace of mind. Hunter has created safe environment, and I felt completely at ease leaving Dolly in her care. I highly recommend her and will be booking with her again!

This was my first time leaving our dog with someone other than a family member. Deborah was very nice, responsive, and made me feel at ease. I would highly recommend.

Heather was wonderful with our pup, Fern! She worked with our travel schedule and kept in touch while we were gone. She is very knowledgeable about dogs and you can tell she really cares. We will use her for all of our boarding needs!

Amanda and her family are a sweet family. We felt great leaving our 2 fur babies overnight in Amanda's care. Unfortunately, one of dogs bit her dog. Amanda was polite as she explained the situation. We were surprised and felt terrible. No medical attention for her dog was needed. As pet owners, we all understand that this can happen....even if it has never happened before. We won't be able to use Amanda again, BUT we still recommend her because her home, yard and family are a wonderful consideration for other pets to receive great care. ?

Sagan had such a wonderful time at Sherrie’s! He loved running around in the back yard and playing with her puppy Biscuit. Sherrie gave amazing updates with pictures and information everyday. All very sweet and personal, making our time apart easier. Thank you Sherrie!

Fran was the most wonderful dog sitter. I’m very nervous about leaving my little dog Beau behind because he’s a bit shy and because I miss him so much. He genuinely enjoyed his time with Fran, and I loved the updates she sent. He clearly felt very at home with Fran and Kevin, and I feel more comfortable taking trips now.
