House Sitting in Stony Fork

I could write a book about how amazing Christina is! I am a first time Rover-user. I’m also a single Mom to a 3yr old little boy and a 6yr old female pitbull. Long story short I NEEDED this vacation but I was having such bad anxiety about leaving my dog for 9 days with a stranger. The minute I reached out to Chris she immediately put my mind at ease. I have never used a service like this so I had so many questions about how everything worked. Chris came to my house for a meet/greet about a month before my trip (before I officially booked the dog-sit) so she could meet my dog, take a look at the house, and most importantly put my mind at ease while I asked her a bunch of questions. Chris and I just ‘clicked’. I felt like I was just catching up with an old family friend. After that initial meeting I knew I was comfortable with her taking care of my dog/house. I booked Chris for a dog walk a few days after that initial meeting so she could meet my dog once more and take her in a short walk to get familiar with my dogs behavior. Both of these meetings put my mind at ease and I was happy to focus on preparing for our trip to the beach, instead of worrying about the well-being of my dog. Chris informed me she could communicate as much or as little as I wanted while we were away on our trip. I told her I would love as many pictures and updates that she was willing to send. She did not disappoint! At least once a day I received a picture of my dog and an update and summary of the day. I have high anxiety and there wasn’t a second during this entire process where I felt stressed or overwhelmed. Any sort of hesitations or reservations I was having Chris knew exactly what to do to put my mind at ease. I know this review is already long but I could write so much more. In conclusion Chris has: Great communication She is Trustworthy Immense love for animals Tidy Takes pride in her work You can tell she loves her job Chris is amazing. Your animal and house will be well taken care of. Looking forward to my next vacation so I can book Chris again. I’ve been back from my trip for only a week and I’ve already forward her information to several friends and family.

I needed a dogsitter on short notice for my energetic, big lab puppy and noticed as I was scrolling through profiles that Sara had the most reviews I had ever seen on Rover! She agreed to watch Polly for the weekend on only 1 day notice and I now realize just why she had so many reviews! I cannot recommend Sara enough, from the moment she came over to meet Polly I knew she could handle her no problem. She is extremely kind, communicative, and took tremendous care of both Polly and my house while she stayed as a guest. Multiple walks, doing laundry for muddy dog towels before she left, tons of play time indoors on a rainy weekend, she truly did it all and I cannot wait to use her again. If you are in the Asheville area, do not hesitate to contact her, I can attest your animals will be extremely well cared for. Sara is a true gem, thank you so much!

Thank you Makayla! My dogs have never stayed with a dog sitter before and they immediately liked Makayla. Our little one is typically very shy with new people and she just happily went up to meet her with no problems. Our dogs get along sorta :/ and Makayla assured us she would follow or protocols to keep everyone safe and happy and she did. Both dogs wanted to say goodby, they enjoyed their time together.

Megan went above and beyond. Great communication throughout. Loads of adorable pictures that left me at ease. The house was cleaner than when we left it. Thank you so much.

This was my second time with Ela and I’m inviting her to sit again next week! She is very easy to communicate with, very wise and intuitive with my animals. She’s clean (leaves everything exactly how I left it) and even washes her bedding which helps me out a lot! I’ve had nearly a hundred sitters over the last few years and she is one of the best. I wish I could take her to California with me when I move back next year!

Susan was incredible! This was the first time we left Milo with someone who was not family and he adjusted perfectly! Some might say he listened to Susan better than us at times ha. We will definitely be rebooking Susan in the future!

Hannah was great at keeping me updated with my pups and knowing they were well taken care of while I was away!

Grace was amazing with my puppy! The updates of how the night was going were greatly appreciated and she left the place very clean and tidy. I would definitely recommend her services!

Morisa was great with the dogs. I was so glad that she straightened out my confusion about the date and time. She has wonderful communication skills, and I'm comforted that my dogs are well taken care of.

Kara was kind, professional, and really easy to communicate with from start to finish. I came home to relaxed and happy animals. Everything was handled reliably and with care. I’d book with her again and recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy sitter.

Ginger continues to give the best care to my beloved kitty. He is everything to me, and he has had some health issues over the past year. I am so confident in Obi’s care when Ginger is watching him. She really is the best.

We were so happy Elizabeth could spend the weekend with our dogs in our home. She took great care of them, they were happy and healthy when we arrived. We will be repeat customers. Thanks!

Natasha was so fantastic with our dog! She’s a very nervous gal and Natasha was so communicative with us and took such sweet care of her. It was amazing how much relief we felt leaving our sweet gal in her care!

One of our dogs got sick the morning of our booking and she took excellent care of her while we were gone. She gave us such a piece of mind and we would trust her with anything.
