House Sitting in Waynesville

Grey was amazing! Our usual sitter had a last minute conflict come up right before a trip. I had never used Rover before and was a little apprehensive, but immediately felt reassured by Grey’s initial correspondence which was super clear. We did a meet and greet before which Grey also made super easy for us, and it was really clear that he was asking great questions (things that made it clear he was a professional and that reassured this newbie who was feeling a little unsure right before a big trip). After the meeting I immediately felt a huge weight off my shoulders. We continued to stay in touch before the trip, Grey was proactive about checking in and accommodating about handoff process and schedule. He was great about sending updates while we were away and was so sweet about the antics of my furballs. I felt like my fur goblins and my place were in really good hands. He was great about hand off too and asked how I wanted to do it. I told him that it would be great if we could overlap but that I understood if he had appointments when we got back. He confirmed he would make sure to be here and give us a pretty healthy window. Our flight ended up being delayed 2 hours and he waited for us without hesitation. He was so great about our check back in - told us funny anecdotes about his time and made me feel like he truly cared about the well being of our pets and home. Honestly, I think the place was cleaner when I got back than when I left and it was super clear my babies had been taken care of. I would give him a million stars if I could. From one dog parent to another, I can 1000% recommend Grey.

Ginger is an incredibly kind, detail-oriented person who took wonderful care of my kitty, Obi. He is an older diabetic kitty who needs insulin injections and pills 2X a day. Finding someone who can do that is no small task. Ginger handled it all like the pro she is, but with more care than I even knew was possible. I am so grateful I have found someone who can care for and love on Obi while I am away. Oh, and my house was spotless upon my return. She took good care of my house, just like she cared for Obi! Thank you, Ginger!

Denise was absolutely amazing for us! She took such good care of our dog milo and was so helpful to us when we got into a bind! I would highly recommend Denise, we will definitely be contacting her again!

Charlie was wonderful! My animals took to them right away. It gave me so much peace, knowing they were in great hands. Charlie is awesome! Highly recommend!

Sheridan is thorough and honest about her pet sitting services to us/what happened during the stay (our dog chewed our remote for example). We’ve had sitters that don’t tell us when those things happen and we wonder if they stole them. Thank you Sheridan!

I only gave 5 stars because I couldn't give 6! Ginni was responsive, showed up on time, and took great care of our two dogs. She sent pictures during her stay and both of our pups warmed up to her right away. She's a great sitter and we will definitely re-book with her the next time we need someone. And, icing on the cake, she even did a few dishes I left in the sink!! Thank you Ginni!

Julie is great for both my daily visits and my overnights. My doggies are happy when I return and my house is tidy!!! She is wonderful!!!

Brinkley was amazing! She texted me at least twice a day and would send me a picture of Jasper and include how he was doing that day. He is a senior dog and I really hated leaving him, but her texts and pictures let me know that he was doing great! I would highly recommend Brinkley!

Kary is an outstanding pet & house sitter. This was our first time leaving for an extended period & we didn't worry the entire time. Our dogs love her & she communicated well while we were out of town. There were plenty of pictures sent & she was happy to ask questions when she had them. We came back to a beautifully clean home & happy dogs! Kary went above & beyond during her stay not only caring for our pets but caring for our home. We feel sun a sense of relief knowing that when we need to leave town & can't take our dogs they will be well cared for while we are gone.

This was my first time using Rover and it was great. We left our cat and 100 lb dog overnight and Carolyn was amazing! She sent pictures of them playing and napping, and they were happy and fed when we got home. Carolyn is exactly the warm and caring person we were looking for.

Alana was awesome! She took great care of my dog while I was traveling. She was flexible when the power was initially off at my apartment, and made sure my dog was happy and comfortable. She sent updates, which was a nice gesture since I hadn’t used Rover before. Would definitely recommend!

Callie was amazing! She did a wonderful job taking care of our 3 dogs which can be a handful.
