House Sitting in Willits-Ochre Hill

Grey was amazing! Our usual sitter had a last minute conflict come up right before a trip. I had never used Rover before and was a little apprehensive, but immediately felt reassured by Grey’s initial correspondence which was super clear. We did a meet and greet before which Grey also made super easy for us, and it was really clear that he was asking great questions (things that made it clear he was a professional and that reassured this newbie who was feeling a little unsure right before a big trip). After the meeting I immediately felt a huge weight off my shoulders. We continued to stay in touch before the trip, Grey was proactive about checking in and accommodating about handoff process and schedule. He was great about sending updates while we were away and was so sweet about the antics of my furballs. I felt like my fur goblins and my place were in really good hands. He was great about hand off too and asked how I wanted to do it. I told him that it would be great if we could overlap but that I understood if he had appointments when we got back. He confirmed he would make sure to be here and give us a pretty healthy window. Our flight ended up being delayed 2 hours and he waited for us without hesitation. He was so great about our check back in - told us funny anecdotes about his time and made me feel like he truly cared about the well being of our pets and home. Honestly, I think the place was cleaner when I got back than when I left and it was super clear my babies had been taken care of. I would give him a million stars if I could. From one dog parent to another, I can 1000% recommend Grey.

We've never used a pet sitting service before but immediately felt comfortable with Ginger after our initial meet and greet. When we returned home, our pups were happy and the house looked great. Would definitely use again.

Back story: We had planned a trip and scheduled to board our senior Doberman, Sheba, at a local kennel. Unfortunately, Sheba was infected with viral pneumonia from a previous kennel stay and was in quarantine and recuperating. We couldn’t reschedule the trip and frantically searched for quality qualified care for her. In desperation, I connected with Ginni thru Rover. She visited our home and as we got acquainted, I knew she was perfect fit for our special situation. Ginni is a kind, gentle soul who paid careful attention to details, responded promptly to communications, lovingly attended to our fur babies’ needs, sent daily pics and updates showing how much our critters missed us - lol, and left our home “no trace left behind.” Sheba and our outdoor kitty can’t wait til we go on another vacation! We highly recommend Gini for house sitting your beloved fur babies!

Brinkley was amazing! She texted me at least twice a day and would send me a picture of Jasper and include how he was doing that day. He is a senior dog and I really hated leaving him, but her texts and pictures let me know that he was doing great! I would highly recommend Brinkley!

Kary was kind and responsive. Immediately bonded with my dog. She did an overnight stay helping keep my dog company. Communicates often and very respectful. My dog was very happy. Highly recommend.

Callie was amazing! She did a wonderful job taking care of our 3 dogs which can be a handful.

Maggie was super helpful & trustworthy with our big boy. I’d definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a house/dog sitter!!

This was my first time using Rover and it was great. We left our cat and 100 lb dog overnight and Carolyn was amazing! She sent pictures of them playing and napping, and they were happy and fed when we got home. Carolyn is exactly the warm and caring person we were looking for.

Danielle and Brodin not only cared for our dog Albus, but they went and picked him up from another Rover dogsitters house that didn’t work out, halfway thru my trip. They made me feel at ease even though I was on the other side of the country. There are not many people that would have made me feel so comfortable with my dog being sent to another home halfway through my trip. They sent me photos everyday and my dog came home happy and tired. Thank you again Danielle and Brodin!

Amanda was wonderful - accepting my dog when we were in town for a wedding- she was kind and flexible and I wasn’t worried about my dog during the wedding at all! Thank you, Amanda!
