Cat Sitting in Acorn Acres

An absolute stellar sitter. My cat is on tube feeding, which can be time consuming and complicated, and Nicole went above and beyond. She really cared so well for my kitty. 10/10 recommend!

We couldn't be happier with Chris and the wonderful job they did caring for our two cats! They took notes during our meet up and immediately clicked with the cats (which means they are an expert at reading those sometimes subtle cat body cues). We really appreciated their comfort and confidence caring for the cats, including one who requires daily meds. They sent daily pictures and updates, gave the cats plenty of love and attention, and we returned to a very neat, tidy house and two happy kitties! We are looking forward to their next stay!

Madison was fantastic! She followed all of our instructions, and our kitten absolutely loved her. We also received wonderful photos that made us feel like we were right there with her. Highly recommend!

Teresa was great and we felt so comfortable leaving out cats in her care! Tereza clearly has a love for cats and all pets. She was on time, played, fed, and cleaned up after them. We will be rebooking in the future for sure!

Jessica took great care of our cat, including giving him his inhaler twice a day, and on top of that took great care of our home while we were away. She was also attentive to messages and responded quickly, and sent us updates and pictures every few days.

Cody was wonderful with our two very shy and skittish cats, checking in on them twice a day and sending detailed updates! She set up their toys in fun and creative ways that kept them very entertained. We appreciated her patient approach with them and would definitely recommend Cody!!

Hannah has watched our two cats multiple times now and is always amazing! Super communicative and puts a lot of love into caring for our babies.

Alyssa was a fantastic cat drop in supporter. She spent quality time with my cat but also helped me with a few other items while I was traveling. Highly recommend!

James was so great with my cat, Boots! He kept him entertained and well taken care of while I was away. I would definitely hire him again.

Gavin took care of my six year old orange tabby for approximately two weeks. This was my first experience with Rover. In fact, when I first registered with Rover and started searching for house sitters with availability, I contacted Gavin in error. (Technology is not my strong suit). Gavin was gracious and kind in responding to my newbie error. When I intentionally reached out to him to see if he was interested in setting up a meet and greet, he responded in a timely manner, as he did with all of our communications. While away, I received daily updates and pictures, detailing their breakfasts together, bonding on the couch during football games, etc. Gavin’s notes were warm, sincere and always included great pictures of his charge. He always responded quickly to my comments/questions from his updates. Gavin was extremely responsible and trustworthy during his time in our home. He tidied up, above and beyond, when his time with my cat wrapped up. I would absolutely recommend him for pet sitting, whether staying in your home or stopping by for feedings/walks/litter box/etc. I hope Gavin will be available to care for my cat in the future.

Kate was wonderful with our three kitties. We had never worked with her before, and she was able to handle a complex situation that that involved medications with one of our kitties who is healing from a foot injury. She was also available on very short notice which was a huge relief to us. Her communication was excellent, and her enthusiasm and care for animals is immediately apparent. We highly recommend Kate and we’re so glad we have met her!!

Stephanie took care of my three beloved cats, one of which is diabetic. There was a LOT to do with three of them! She took EXCELLENT care of them and showed up twice every day at the same time, prepared their food in a particular way, refilled their water fountain, gave them a certain amount of treats, and took care of their litter box perfectly. She even cleaned up a few messes they created which was above and beyond her responsibilities! Most importantly, she gave my diabetic cat her insulin shot twice a day. She really helped me enjoy my vacation because I didn't worry about them being in her care. I will be entrusting her to sit for them again going forward.
