House Sitting in Acorn Acres

We were very nervous about using Rover for the first time with our babies, but Gavin was great! One of our dogs requires a muzzle and has fear based dog reactivity, and he handled her with grace and understanding. We would absolutely welcome Gavin back to our home to take care of our furry family members, and are so glad we found someone so reliable to care for them during our vacation.

Ailish is a wonderful sitter! She is wonderfully communicative and attentive to instructions and leaves our house in impeccable shape.

Jessica was awesome! She was so helpful and thoughtful on our wedding day with our pups and helped make a memorable day and ceremony! First time using rover and we wish we lived closer so that she could watch our pups again!!

Michael is an absolute gem of a dog-sitter! He cared for our two Shih Tzus, Mack and especially Dennis, who’s recovering from a broken leg, with such patience, attentiveness, and genuine affection. Managing Dennis’ medications and constant supervision is no small feat, but Michael handled it with ease and compassion. Beyond caring for the dogs, he treated our home with incredible respect. He took out the trash, stripped the bed, started the laundry, and even left fresh flowers and a Yankee Candle scent warmer glowing. I came home to soft lighting, the cozy scent of “Harvest Time,” and two happy pups. It felt like a warm welcome home. Michael goes above and beyond in every way. We’re so grateful to have found him and can’t recommend him highly enough!

We were so pleased Tati stayed with our dogs. They all loved her and we had peace of mind knowing they were in such good hands. The pictures and videos she sent were great. We highly recommend her!

Kristen is awesome! She has cared for our dog Nora a few times now. Nora has separation anxiety which makes caring for her a full-time job. Kristen has been so kind and loving with Nora and willing to take on her challenges. Kristen is very dependable. We have had some early morning departures and late night arrivals and she is always on time. We trust Kristen and highly recommend her!

Brittany was the best, and I feel so lucky that we found her! Our dog loved his time with her, especially when she played with him in the backyard and took him to the beach. We will definitely be having her back!

We had Logan stay overnight for a few days with our 2 dogs (one of which is a 7 month old puppy) and our geriatric gremlin of a cat; and she did great. She communicated with us, she sent updates, and was genuinely great with the animals. Highly recommend using her for any pet sitting needs!

Honestly the best rover I have ever had!!!! Hands down! Super sweet and amazing with my boys. My dogs are my children so I am always nervous leaving them with a stranger and she made me feel so comfortable. I got pictures all day long and I know she put extra love into her stay. Finally someone I can trust!!!!

Gracie was awesome! Her love of animals was so apparent from the moment she walked in on our meet and greet day and thus I knew immediately that I would be comfortable leaving my fur babies with her. And that proved to be true. It was only for two days this first time but I went without worry. I will use her again without question and I highly recommend Gracie for anyone’s fur baby needs.

Andy was great. He sent me pictures throughout the day (which we LOVE). The house was kept clean and our pups were loved.

Justina took incredible care of our two dogs. Coming off a horrible pet sitting experience last year, we were of course worried. She put our minds to rest immediately. Daily pictures and updates were amazing. Highly recommend Justina! Top notch care for our two.

Morgan was easy to communicate with, took great care of our animals and left the house clean and neat. I would not hesitate to ask her to house sit for us in the future!

We had a wonderful experience with Kathleen. She took excellent care of our animals. She sent us updates on how everyone was doing with photos which was nice to have. She is very reliable and trustworthy. We will be using her again!!
