House Sitting in New Castle

We were very nervous about using Rover for the first time with our babies, but Gavin was great! One of our dogs requires a muzzle and has fear based dog reactivity, and he handled her with grace and understanding. We would absolutely welcome Gavin back to our home to take care of our furry family members, and are so glad we found someone so reliable to care for them during our vacation.

Kristen did a wonderful job looking after my 2 dogs, one of whom has medical needs that include meds 2x daily and a diaper! Came home after 11 days away to a clean house and happy pups 🥰

Tati is phenomenal with our little crew; it’s clear from the photos that she sends that our pups truly enjoy her company. Thank you, Tati, for keeping our fur babies safe & happy while we’re away!

Eddy stayed with our German Shepherd over the Thanksgiving holiday and treated her to a wonderful weekend with lots of walking, running, and snuggling. We needed help last minute because she was in heat and didn’t feel comfortable boarding her - Eddy came through and wasn’t fazed by any of the many instructions we had for her, or her puppy craziness. He sent lots of updates and we knew she was in great hands. Absolutely would recommend him!

Melody took great care of my lively lab and our home. She responded quickly to my request, and I was impressed by her warmth and professional attitude when we met. Most important, my dog liked her right away! Communication was great. She was at our home over a stormy, icy weekend and dealt easily and quickly with the need for storm-related arrangements. I came home to a happy dog and a clean and peaceful house.

We recently had the pleasure of having Kate care for our dog Rocky while we were away, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience! Rocky requires daily medication and a bit of extra attention, and Kate handled everything with such care and professionalism. We highly recommend Kate to anyone looking for a reliable, compassionate, and responsible pet sitter. Thank you again, Kate!

Erin & Amanda did an amazing job caring for our dog, Freya, for five days. Sent updates and made traveling without our dog as stress free as possible. So grateful and would highly recommend.

Carlie was fantastic with our two dogs! We were gone for 10 days and she kept them healthy and happy, followed their daily routine, and gave them lots of outdoor time and love! When we returned home our house looked great and was in tip top clean condition. She is a wonderful, reliable and responsible dog and house sitter. We will definitely have Carlie back again on our next trip away!

It was our first time leaving our pets for an overnight. We were very scepticale and anxious about leaving them. We are crazy pet parents with high expectations . James blew our expectations out of the water and made the entire process stress free! Great man and even greater to our pets. He did everything that was asked and went above and beyond to make sure not only our animals but we ourselves felt at ease and stress free. Great communication skills and was willing to accommodate all requests we asked of him. Incredible sitter and we will be rebooking anytime we have an event.

Martha took such great care of our dog, Kip, and our home while we were away for the weekend! Kip is a high energy dog that requires a lot of attention, and Martha was so great with him! She sent us lots of pictures and updates too. We'd definitely work with her again :)

Teresa is amazing! My dog sitter backed out last minute so I made an account on Rover with 24 hours notice. Teresa responded right away and came to meet my dogs just a couple hours later. She updated me consistently and I never had to worry because I knew my pups were in great hands. Meeka and Koda loved her and I will definitely be booking with her again. I don’t know what we would have done without her. Thank you Teresa!
