House Sitting in Pelham

Theo took excellent care of our two dogs and our home while we were away! We got lots of updates and photos so we never had to wonder or worry about anything! Will definitely book with Theo again!

Steph was awesome! I got pics and updates regularly. I have dogs with some special needs and they were taken care of as if they were her own!

Delilah was just wonderful! It was so reassuring to know she was there keeping the dogs on their regular schedule. They were relaxed and the most stress-free we've ever seen after we've been away from them! We really appreciated the extra care she put into caring for our dog that is so frightened when the thunderstorms come! Thank you Delilah! We didn't worry one bit during our entire vacation!

If we could give Lea more than 5 starts, we would!! She is the dream sitter, and it was such a nice feeling being able to leave our pups with someone we could trust! Our dogs are on the high-maintenance side, and she handled it all with special care - administering prescription meds, soothing separation anxiety, exercising some energy off, etc. One of our pups had sustained a muscle injury prior to our trip and needed some extra rest and care, and Lea was extremely attentive with following our vet's instructions. She was always incredibly responsive when we messaged, and sent us so many pictures to make us less homesick. Cannot say enough good things about her, and I know our pups Tatum & Oliver are hoping that they get to hang out with her again soon!

Mikayla was amazing with our puppy! It was our first ever time using rover and we couldn’t be more satisfied. She was very responsive and communicated throughout the day! We would love to book with her again in the future.

Sarah took great care of our two Great Danes and two cats. One dog and one cat required medication. One of the Danes is a rescue and has some anxiety issues that can result in aggression, so not everyone is suited to take care of him, but Sarah got along with him from the start. The cat requiring medication hid from Sarah, so it required extra effort on her part, and while I don't think she got her meds every time, Sarah made a valiant attempt, even calling in help from someone on our contact sheet.

Nikki was great with our black lab mix, Darla, who has major separation anxiety and doesn’t easily trust humans. Nikki came to our house twice ahead of time which gave Darla extra time to get used to her. During her stay, Darla decided to be naughty and get into our cabinets while Nikki was out running an errand, it was a big mess, but Nikki took it in stride and cleaned everything up. Updates with pictures were sent daily, which we enjoyed! She was even flexible when our flight home was delayed. We would not hesitate to have Nikki pet sit for us again, it worked out great!

Julia watched our senior dog at our home for 6 days while we were traveling and we could not be happier with the care she provided for Zoe. Julia is super responsive and made my first booking with Rover a great experience. She shared daily updates and pictures with us, and we will absolutely consider her again!

Rihana went above and beyond caring for my fur babies while I was away. And not only that, my home was cleaner than when I left it. You can tell she loves pups like they are her own.

Sabrina was so great with our pets and house sitting. She kept us up to date with the goings on at our house and sent us pictures frequently. Definitely would have Sabrina back!

April did a wonderful job watching our two dogs at our house overnight. She was very communicative and responsible. Our dogs had a great time. Highly recommended!!

Words can’t describe how impressed I am with Philip’s care for our dog during our week long vacation. Our dog, Freya, went blind a couple years ago and has a really struggled meeting new people since. Philip took the time to introduce himself multiple times before we left and was patient enough to have freya warm up to him exponentially. While we were away, he provided daily check ins and plenty of cute videos and pictures to help us not miss our pup as much. All in all, Philip provided excellent care, communication and patience and we will be 100% booking with him for our next vacation!

This is now our second booking with Kadence.Finn formed a bond with her immediately which is unusual.Kadence was able to get Finn to do things that he wouldn’t for me.I believe it’s her calm nature.I was able to enjoy a weekend away without one worry.Kadence kept in contact with updates and pictures which was appreciated.We’re grateful that we found her and highly recommend her.We look forward to having her sit with Finn,again.

Sarah-Jane is wonderful with my Greyhound YaYa. This is the third time I've used her to either watch YaYa for a weekend, several days and just stop by to feed her and let her out. My travel plans got changed in a big way and she was able to take on the sitter role one extra day which relieved a ton of stress off of me. I cannot recommend her enough to watch your pet/s. YaYa just loves her! Sarah-Jane is my number one sitter!

Alyssa was absolutely wonderful for my 3 babies!! I was definitely nervous as this was our first time booking a sitter through Rover, but she very quickly squashed that anxiety and made us feel so comfortable. The dogs all loved her, and she even was able to accommodate an unforeseen need to give our youngest some medication for a paw injury. She sent us plenty of update pics which only helped make us feel like our babies were in great hands. We’ve already rebooked her for a weekend that we’ll be away camping. Thank you so much Alyssa!!!
